I have only eaten food at their deli, but the soy chai latte and pie I ordered was delicious. The sourdough wholemeal bread was also of great quality

We have always found the staff exceptionally friendly and obliging. The food and wine selections are wonderful. Such fun to try new tastes and food combinations. We have enjoyed every meal we've had at Young George. Our favourite restaurant!

Good food with unique but balance taste. Small portion but I will be back to try other stuff on the menu.

I have been following chef Melissa for ages from over east and finally got the chance to eat at Young George. What an inspired chef she is. So clever. 4 of us dined and even though we are in the hospitality industry in Melbourne, we were like excited children with excited banter over every dish. Staff were also key to our memorable experience. Fantastic. We will be back next year with great anticipation.

Have been to this restaurant twice, once with a large group and recently with a smaller number, the service and food have been excellent, I would absolutely recommend, the simple dishes are so well done which is far from a given.

Wow. Loved the flavours and techniques. Loved the red cabbage with hazelnuts. Desert spectacular.coconut pillowy foam on sorbet over crumble. Mmm.

We visited this restaurant because it was listed on the web search amongst the top 50 best restaurants in Perth.if its on the internet it must be true, eh? The ambience is trendy but exciting and varies considerable depending upon where you are seated.

I had the special, Roast Duck with Roasted Beets and Roast Strawberries, (see photo) and my spouse had Oyster Blade Waygu Beef with mushroom sauce (and that was all that came with it - the meat and the sauce). The flavours were fabulous, but the serves were on the pretentious side of a bit small, given the prices being charged.

The wine list was exciting - most adventurous indeed. The staff were engaging and attentive. The flies were terrible.

I was suspiciously satisfied with the experience (the ambience is terrific) but the price nearly knocked me off my feet. Two mains and a bottle of Riesling cost $204 AUD for a casual lunch. Not really competitive at all and I am not a scrounger!

No doubt the Executive Chef is an expert who has a fabulous handle on flavour and first class quality food delivery and uses only the very best fresh local produce.but the price! Won't be back. Have had better meals elsewhere at places paying much higher rents than this place and have paid as little as $134.00 for a better experience. Pity really as we eat out about three days/nights a week when we can.

Such a lovely place with beautiful service and great food. Enjoyed our time there thanks to these. Perfect place for dinner on a date night!:) Every menu we ordered was fantastic except for one, which was crispy fried zucchini with thicker batters than expected, but still tasted good. Recommendable for sure. Cheers.

Great place. We went here for our mates 20th Anniversary. We were down stairs for the the function. Which was really cosy and personal for all of us. Upstairs was great. It's a really popular place the staff are friendly. The food was great. Loved it great experience. Thanks to everyone there that made it a great night.

Wasn't overly impressed with the food. It looked good but was all too sweet or salty. Worth a visit.

We were in Perth visiting a friend and they brought us to Young George for lunch.
The service was really great from the outset- great help with the menu and suggestions for what and how much to order.
The food was also amazing! They make a broccoli guacamole which was just delicious but didn't contain any avocado (we had to ask as we could have sworn it did). Couldn't fault a single dish we had and will definitely be back when I'm next back in Perth!

We have been coming there for years and just want to say that rudee is amazing. She’s always friendly and accommodating and we will always come back for her amazing service. No matter how busy it is, she is definitely an asset to your business.

A hidden Gem. A quiet pub in a what i see as a small hidden village which i think the people in rhe area would be happy to keep it to themselves. Great staff

A cozy restaurant with fine food with french taste. The 3 course lunch is a great value, we enjoyed unique but tasty plates with a good serving each.

Nice and courteous staff. No fault there. Catering food selection was creative enough for a small casual function. Interior has a cozy vibe, but it felt a bit too cramped and as a result, noisy. Downstairs was fine, being mostly a catering area. But there was a lack of airflow and it felt stuffy. Not a bad place for a casual eat. No real complaints. It was just a relatively unremarkable place.

Good beer, great meal. I'm not really a fan of share plates but we did get to taste a range of dishes and they were all really tasty. Good service too.
