Vetwest Animal Hospitals Clarkson

I was very impressed with the care I received when I rang to make an appointment for my dog at VetWest Mindarie most recently. He needed to be seen urgently and they did their best to squeeze us in as soon as possible. My appointment was made and then not long after they called back to say they could see my dog sooner. Their level of care and experience was amazing and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pets. Thank you VetWest Mindarie for taking such good care of my dog

The staff here are absolutely amazing! From having such rude experiences from my pets last vet, these ladies are so beautiful & polite! They have such a passion & genuine care for animals all big & small, I definitely will be making this my babies permanent vet! Thankyou so much for being so gentle & sweet with my little Willow

Absolutely disgusted. Called these so called animal helpers just on opening as our dog was gravely ill. Receptionist told us they could see him in 5 days! 2 previous vets had not shown up when we booked them to come out. We had waited for hours. Being told to take your dog kms away to emergency vet when they are just across the road from us is disgraceful, why could they not fit an emergency in? They are supposed to care and help. Our baby passed away in my daughters arms that morning. Vetwest I hate you

Two times these guys cancelled appointments and every time they know they are going to get sick after 7 days they called me and asked me to book for later date because doctor is sick, no problem i booked for later day but again 1 week before appointment they called me and asked to book again for later date because doctor is sick i mean really, You guys know beforehand someone going to get sick after a week common guys you should be fortune teller instead of doctor.

I have been taking my baby Nacho to vet west since we rescued him and all the staff have been nothing but kind, caring & so thorough with him. Being a bit of an anxious cat mum I tend to ask 1000 questions but I always receive the responses with patience and quality. It is so obvious their intentions are always to do what is best for the pet. My little nacho was absolutely terrified today getting a blood test and the nurses and vets handled him with such care - they even suggestive an alternative to make his life easier when getting tests.

Particularly would like to shoutout the receptionist named Kate who is always so bright and welcoming to any and every person and pet walking through the door.

I just needed a prescription renewed for my dog. I had to have a consultation, which is required by law after 6 months, so ok. Consults are $20 more than somewhere else I found, and then they charge $20 on top of that to print out the prescription which was the same as what the previous vet had prescribed. Consult I feel was to find anything else they could charge me for. We were there less than 10 mins and over $100 gone like that. I know it is a privilege to have a dog, but my previous dogs never cost that much in vet bills. When I was on the phone to them, I didn’t appreciate the arrogance that they told me saying they can charge all those fees because they went to uni.

Put my ex rescue dog in a closed off room, before seeing the vet, by this time she was so freaked out they were not able to examine her, but charged me anyway along with some tablets to put her to sleep next time we go back. That's not going to happen first time there they did not even check inside her ears just gave drops & tablets that gave her dirreah for 4 days.
Now to find another VET, twice was enough.

Have been coming to Vetwest Clarkson since I was a little girl with my very first pet all the way back in 2004, I have always loved this clinic as well as the team. I have brought Guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, birds, dogs, cats and wildlife to Vetwest and have always had my concerns catered for. They are an understanding and non-judgemental team, I do see a lot of burn out in this industry and feel for both the vets and nurses on their off days as I can only imagine the harsh words they would face from the public. I always recommend Vetwest to my friends and family as they are the definition of gold standard.

The Vetwest staff have been wonderful with my 2 dogs Lara and Leo and today was no exception. We saw Dr Duana who was so lovely with Lara.

Vetwest Clarkson are marvelous, I've been going to them for 17 years and have great faith in them. I particularly like Clair Hannah and Marie who always take great care with my dogs

This is the only vet clinic I've been to where they are actually nice to you, care about your pets wellbeing, and follow up on treatment. I've never been made to feel stupid for asking questions. Everyone there seems very helpful. They offer a reduced consult fee if it's a follow up which helps a lot. Also there's decent parking and the waiting area is nice, clean and spacious.

We had an emergency and they were able to act promptly and took very good care of our Fur baby. Everything was explained to us regarding costs and any upcoming costs we may incur. Very friendly staff.

All staff were friendly and very helpful. Have been going to clarkson for years and would not change vets.

I rang in the morning and they rearranged their day just to get us in. Our old dog was ready to go to rainbow bridge.they where so kind, caring and understanding. It was so emotional but they didnt rush us and they sat and talked everything through with us.nothing was too much trouble. I cant praise them enough. Thank you

Had to put our 15 year old girl to sleep today after a seizure. Everybody at Vetwest were fantastic, very caring, understanding, compassionate and nothing more than our girl deserved.
Thank you for making the final moments of our girls life as peaceful as possible.

This is the only local vets that has staff knowledgeable about guinea pigs, dr claire is always prompt friendly and polite.

Very understanding of anxious dogs when I visited. The young vet I saw with my dog "Fergus" was extremely kind and very understanding towards him and kept him calm throughout his examination.

The staff at Clarkson VW, are very friendly, they have a caring nature & are passionate about their work.
