We went to this vet as our usual vet is starting to charge too much for my elderly dog to have her nails clipped. We are so glad we've tried this place because we found the vibe to be very friendly. The nurse who did the clipping was so sweet with both our dogs (the other dog came for moral support!), nice and quick and professional. She understood that our little dog was very anxious and we appreciated her kindness and patience. We really liked the layout of the place too.cats on one side, dogs on the other! The receptionist was very friendly and it was easy to tell everyone genuinely loves animals.

Marie was thorough, did not rush through the appointment, discussed my dog’s condition with me and possible diagnoses, and suggested options regarding treatment.

Ive been with Vet west over 10 years now and they always have provided excellent care. They have been under Dr Kate and Dr Marie's care and they do not disappoint.had to rush with lulu recently due to an abscess and nurses Charlotte and Kate were amazing.prompt care from Dr Marie who were so kind to look at her without an appt. These ladies are the best.thank you from Lulu and Leo.

Always a pleasure to come here and the Vets are very approachable and friendly and always thorough. So are the Reception Staff.

We have been using VetWest Clarkson now Mindarie since 2007 and have always been more than satisfied with the service, care and kindness shown not only to us but our fur kids. Thank you!

Vetwest Mindarie is where my cat was put down without my consent for no good reason.
I took my cat in tears to their vets after she was hit by a car and I was told she would survive. I signed for surgery to proceed only after finding out more test results. They did not inform me of any results and instead went ahead with euthanasia after having a quick chat over the phone to my sister. Please please do not leave your pet or any animal at the mercy of vet west.

We have been with vetwest Mindarie/Clarkson since our Chihuahua Biggie was a puppy, and is now 8yrs old.
Recently he’s had health issues that even a specialist Vet didn’t help us with.
We felt alone and distressed about our dogs health but Dr Sarah and Dr Claire have been helping dramatically and our dogs health has been improving a lot when we thought no one could help. They take the time out of their busy days to talk on the phone to share some guidance and see us in person.
They have been extremely flexible to support Biggie, and the Nurses and receptionists have helped with this so much and we are very grateful for the whole team.
Every time I walk in the ladies are so lovely and welcoming.
Special thanks to Dr Sarah for seeing us consistently and helping us with questions and a plan.

After going to another vet and feeling like they didn’t listen to my concerns about my puppy I took her to Vet West and felt heard from the making my appointment to the vet to check out! Friendly Efficient and Great prices! My puppy is already doing better.

Always receive the best service at this vet. They are caring.and thorough with their treatment my pet. They follow up after your visit to ensure all is well. Highly recommend this practice.

Dr Marie was such a lovely Vet. They are so busy at the moment but her beautiful smile and disposition made it a very pleasant experience. Thoroughly recommend Vet West especially at Clarkson.

If you find a stray kitten and want to take it to the vet for a check up before you keep it, don't take it here. They'll take it off you, call the ranger to send it to the pound for you to adopt from there. Inconsistent "policies" that they enforce when they want (3 previous rescued kittens and never had this happen, and it's sibling which also went to a vetwest centre is now sitting at home with its new family)

Very caring & professional practice. They worked out what was the most beneficial & economical treatment for our little 16 year old dog. He was treated with proficiency & compassion.

Very good service and very professional staff plus helpful. The Doctor I saw with my very loved pet, was looked at with the care of someone who is kind heart and loves animals.

Been going here for 15 odd years with multiple pets and Vetwest have always been fantastic but they have provided next level care for our now 8mo dog. He's VERY anxious and a bit of a handful beung a large fella but they have always taken great care to make sure he stays calm and doesn't have a negative experience. Charlotte the vet nurse in particular made a potentially scary visit today way less stressful for him and us.
Super grateful for the high standard of vet care and the care shown to our dog.

Visited Vetwest in Mindarie today as our regular vets could not see our dog. Marie and Kate went above and beyond (despite no available appointments either). We will be making this our permanent vets from now on based on the care, compassion and reassurance given to my dog and me today. Thanks again guys ️

Word of warning for owners - a very dishonest and deceitful practice, with very limited to no genuine care, love, or passion for their patients wellbeing.
Initially VetWest Clarkson were great with my dog for about 3 years then when the practice moved to Mindarie (unsure if a change in ownership, management, or staff occurred) ‘policies and procedures’ changed very quickly. VetWest Mindarie tried to ‘pull the wool’ over our eyes as it were and tried referencing the law as justification - even tried discrediting the vet we had seen through them for the last 3 years. I myself trained, qualified, and worked as a Vet Nurse for many years prior so could see what was going on and what the clinic was trying to pull - the clinic we’re attempting to extort money from its trusting and loyal patients.
Requested a copy of my Patient Clinical History ready to move to a new vet practiced - no issues VetWest provided this. Requested multiple times to sit down with the practice manager or owner to discuss, however, the head nurse kept denying my requests advising that she was authorised to ‘handle this situation’. After discussions with the head nurse about my disappointment in their service and there attempts to extort money, requested the same copy of Patient Clinical History to find that the history and notes had been changed with falsified information/details added in attempts to protect themselves from the Vet Board (VSBWA).
Very disappointing.
