The Merrywell Perth

The cashier was not very clear in explaining the order.waited for 20 minutes for drinks and then had to go up to and get them ourselves (she was supposed to hand them to us after putting in the order), The food came out fast however was not very warm at all. However the guys clearing tables etc were very nice.

The food is ok and the place is not exactly very clean. It's very much self service to order at the counter, separately for food and alcoholic drinks.

We had the steak which I find ok and a salad which the portion is very large

This was my 2nd time to visit Merrywell

I asked an waiter if original chef who first time opened Merrywell still working there and she said yes.

Merrywell has a chill vibe with food that is on the fence of fancy and pub grub. The truffle chips and chicken parmi are favourites that are always ordered. Only downside is sometimes it can get a little too loud so conversations are kept to a minimum. More attention is paid to the food Great amount of drinks on offer too.

Visited the Merrywell on a friday evening for a birthday meal in a party of 10.
We're told over the phone they don't book tables so arrived at 530 and was lucky enough to find a setting for 10 by chance straight away.
Meals must be prepaid at the order counter first. Our mains came VERY fast in less than 10 minutes. All meals were very nice, i had the Merrywell burger and was very happy.
The desserts ordered later in the night were slow. Had the Grand Paleta lava cake for dessert and it was delicious.
Colouring pencils and pages provided for the children upon arrival.
Highly recommended

It’s ok, a little expensive in my opinion for what you actually receive.
I would not race back here in a hurry, nor do I rate it highly.

Decent pub grub and friendly service. Only blemish was they gave us flat champagne on 3 different occasions with different bottles. They changed them no fuss but should check before giving it out to customers.

Had lunch yesterday and usually the food is spot on - but have to comment about the really bad Roasted Cauliflower salad. The cauliflower was barely cooked with only a hint of char. It was “dressed” (more like drowned) with jalepeno and capers which appeared to be tipped straight out of the jars including juices and VERY overpowering - we ordered this as a side to the veggie burger that was only ok. We couldn’t eat the salad. We also had onion rings which are usually so moist and crunchy but these looked and tasted like rubber bands. Definitely not the best lunch. Please bring back the Mexican Salad!

One of my favorite Western restaurants in Perth! Words can described their cuisines. One of the best Western foods!

Need to go over to Melbourne and see the size of there meal aa the same size i was full as but here was not fulk

The staff there are friendly and the food is divine. But if you have sensitive ears I recommend having headphones because they have loud music playing. Also the place can fill up quicker than you can say cheese on a stick so for lunch I suggest you try to make it for eleven in the morning. Great for a bite before a show like Aladdin the Musical.

Awesome atmosphere, good food and well made cocktails. Only disalointment which stopped this from a 5 star review was wifes chicken parmigiana that needs revisiting by theirs chefs as it's weird besides that highly recommend.

I found the food tasty but the chicken in the bao buns was way over cooked, dry and hard to chew. Had to rip into it. The sliders were ok and the chips were pretty good. Bar service was very slow and not very friendly.

Went for lunch, food was average and a bit pricey for pub grub. However a great place to go for a drink.

I love this spot, have posted plenty of #foodiesnaps previously. It gets busy but the food comes out fast. The kitchen hustles more than the bar which can be a bit slow. Never had a bad meal here, definitely recommend

No food available later in the evening and when leaving to go into the casino I had to transfer my drink to another glass!
