Our meals came out reasonably quick but the food was cold.
Food tasted nice.
Bar staff clearly need training on customer service!
I waited 20 minutes for a drink, in the end I ended up walking off. The bar was not overly busy, the staff standing around talking to each other and laughing rather than serving customers!

Their seating system is an absolute debarkle! You can't make reservations, when you get there absolutely no tables available!

Atmosphere was quite pleasant. Food came surprisingly fast, for a Friday lunch time, as the place was rather busy. Food was delicious, pork belly was cooked to perfection.

We had nice beautiful dinner for my daughter's birthday, if you're looking for a venue to celebrate your special occasion The Merrywell probably one of the good option, big space, friendly and very helpful staff (Thank You David - the staff that helping me during my daughter's birthday). The food was also came all at the same time which is this is what I always wanted from a restaurant when it comes to a celebration, so other guest doesn't need to wait too long for their food to come. Really great service and attention to details For the price to be honest I was surprised as it's very affordable when the cashier told me the total amount, I was like did you missed some of my order? Can you checked it again? LOL The children also enjoy their companion as they can play around near our table, really great night.

Fabulous location, great selection of dishes appealing to kids and adults of all tastes, very descent sizes, large range of drinks and great atmosphere inside xxx

Very disappointed. Pub food which was below average.
The fish and chips were very oily. The chips seemed old and reheated.
The wagu mini burgers although tasty were very basic. 3 small burgers thrown on a plate on a supermarket type bun, no garnish, no attention to presentation.
Menu varied but prices above average for very basic food.
Will definitely not return.

What can I say about The Merrywell at the Crown Casino Perth, food was spot on, table service was great. We visited the merrywell for some food while staying at the Crown Metropol, and I’m glad we did, it’s definitely worth visiting. The bar service was fast and the beer and cider was cold and refreshing, the food was great value you for money and very filling. The Burger was one of the better I’ve had cook medium the was I like it.
The serving staff was super polite and wasn’t much waiting time at all.
Overall it’s a good all round pub, and will definitely being go back when i visit the Crown Burswood.

We were at the Merrywell a week ago and the steak was amazing so tonight we decided to take the whole family there and ordered 3 steaks and all came out fully cooked when we asked for medium-rare (pink inside). Well there was not even one bit of pink inside. Really disappointed and embarrassed really. A bit of consistency would be great.

Still great but I did love the old steak sandwiches which are not available any longer.its interesting because I remember they had claimed they were aware winner, now somehow they have disappeared or perhaps I am too old.this was 5-6 years ago.

Ordered a parmi without cheese (i cant eat dairy) which i’ve done many times before at different restaurants without hassle.got told the chef is in a mood so he might say no, waitress came back and apologised that the chef will not make the parmi without cheese as they are already pre-made?
made me feel very unwelcome, not very accommodating for food allergies and ruined an anniversary dinner.do better

What a dump! They ‘don’t take bookings for less than 10 people’ but no one can explain the 8 x two person tables with reserved signs n them. It is so far a 15 minute wait in line to order food. Every table that you can see from the line is covered in dirty plates and glasses -8 glasses at a table of 2 people.

Got there just before 6pm on a Wednesday evening so service was fast because 15 minutes later the place was packed! Food was nice but option of a half or smaller serve would be great.

Really night to be able to sit outside and enjoy a bite and a drink. The food was good however a little pricey.
It was very busy for dinner, recommend booking to avoid disappointment.

They don't seem to do specials on particular nights like a lot of pubs do.

Fantastic tasty lunch at the Merrywell before the Pricilla of the Desert musical (awesome show). I was pleasantly surprise how swiftly our meal arrived. Not one of my friends could fault the food, it was all delish. Service was great, bit of a hit and miss of friendliness with staff depending on who was serving, bar staff need to chill a bit and think about if they are working in hospitality you will be interacting obviously with the public. If you are not a people person find another career.

Management

Had an enjoyable lunch & drinks with a friend, sat in the alfresco area which was pleasent & we could talk without noise interfering with our conversation.

No bookings for tables less than 10, however all tables are reserved for a magical 'wait list' after 5pm (people are kicked off tables). Pitiful organisation, poor management.roof in the outdoors area doesn't close when raining.even though it should.maybe spend some $$$ and fix it?

Specials for casino bars not offered here. Expect to wait to be served at the bars.

Only thing going for the place is good breakfast.

Enjoyed a couple drinks with friends. But no music. Bit disappointed. But food & drinks were good.

Very disappointed that i drove over an hour to be there with my loved ones for new years eve and wasn't allowed in because i was wearing thongs and yet your dress code says that "thongs are groovy". I have been here many times before. Never again.

The place was full of drunks. Was only there 10mins, went to get a drink from the bar, waited 15mins before I got any attention from the bar staff. Then it took another 10mins before he even started making my drink? He had no idea what he was doing, the worst cocktail Ive ever had. And during the time I waited for this awful drink some drunken male fool spilt a good portion of his 3 pints down my back. A terrible place. I'll never go back
