73Wanted a big convection microwave. Got one but when it died completely within a month, we had no problems at all swapping it for a replacement unit. No questions or quibbles, just tested it to confirm it was dead and completed the paperwork.
Went to spend $1500 on a phone, stood there waiting for help.
Multiple staff members rushing in and out of the Staff Only door.
Basically ignored for 20 minutes.
Walked next door to Retra Vision and brought the phone there instead, with a 5% discount because I'm with RAC.
Ordered click and collect. Was told it was ready to collect. Went in and no product… not to mention one of the workers was sick and walking around coughing and spluttering with a tissue box. I mean I get places are understaffed but that’s not good enough to allow sick workers to put others at risk. As for click and collect NEVER AGAIN.
It's almost impossible to get any service in this store! There are hardly any sales staff on duty and those that are around are rushed off their feet! Obviously this company is more interested in keeping staff costs as low as possible rather than providing a decent level of customer service. Extremely poor experience and will never ever visit these stores again!
Gareth the warehouse guy was very helpful, 10/10 service. Helped get my microwave into my car with ease!
I was searching for an electronic photo frame which my daughter wanted to be able to send photos of her children to her grandmother!
I visited three Good Guys stores and I have to compliment ALL of them for the help I received.

Good product range, terrible customer service. The store was not busy, plenty of staff wondering around aimlessly. Had to wait over 25 minutes to get served at the checkout.
The $2000 dishwasher I purchased was delivered damaged and faulty. They offered to replace it, however, I have to wait a month. So now I have a dishwasher sitting in my kitchen full of water that wont drain. I contacted Management, but they just say, "That's the best we can do".
Joondalup store manager Ben was very rude and would never deal with him again

Just went to buy coffee machine, nobody bothered to help, even we asked and keep telling us to find blue shirt employee. Also those who worked there keep chatting and playing on phone but don’t want to help so I would not recommend to anyone who wants help and suggestions and wants to buy something, please don’t go. Lack of customer service.
Never again! I have been to The Good Guys Joondalup multiple times over the last few years and every time vow to never go back. They have the most useless, rude, unfriendly staff I have ever dealt with. Not just one either but many. I think its time you hired younger staff or at least train these older people in customer service. They are unhelpful, have little to no knowledge of the products and I leave with a bad taste in my mouth. I decided I would leave and drive 30 minutes away to another store and WOW, what a breath of fresh air. Other stores seem to train their staff in good customer service so why can't this store? Get some new staff, the dinosaurs that run this store need to retire!
I bought a new fridge from Kylie at Good guys, she directed me to exactly what I wanted, fair price, she organised delivery for a Sunday morning. Unheard of quality service.

Terrible store with terrible customer service. Not once but happened twice. Went to buy a laptop. Waited around for a while for someone to come around and help. Asked two different people for help. Both of them told me that someone would come over soon but after waiting 15 minutes and finally just walked off. Not coming back again. I would give zero stars if possible.
Not myself but my mum went into this store today and asked for a price check on an item to then be huffed at by a staff member who was all chatty and happy with the person before hand, but then told her the price and as mum was trying to ask about something else the staff member had walked off, without a word or anything, quite rude ️
Wanted help with 10k worth of appliances. 20 mins later everyone is still at the front desk in an empty store. Brushed off helping me to take a phone call mid conversation.

Rang today to order a fridge, and the lady who answered was the most unfriendly, unhelpful, salesperson I've ever spoken to. I've bought tons of goods from other Good Guys over east, and they have always been great. I rang another vendor (not the Job Keeper one) and they were super helpful, bought a fridge from them straight away. GGs won't get any of my business again.
Greeted and assisted happily for the first ever time in a Good Guys store!
20 years of purchasing across 3 Australian states and finally I didn’t need to go looking for assistance from a staff member who wanted to do anything but.
I usually dread visiting a Good Guys (among others). A necessary evil. 13 April the visit was pleasant. I walked out with a smile

Pitiful service. Unreachable by phone. When you have a fault with a product and come back for assistance they lie and mislead so you lose interest and walk away. Unethical with a smile.
