Sales service on the floor is none existent. Managed to spend 20-30 minutes in store without being approached once but the staff where busy with the maybe 2 other customers in the store! I can tell you one guy was thirsty obviously from all the hard work he was putting in. I was actually looking at TVs while my wife brought a steamer, this normally means you get pounced on by sales people but not at this store.

DISSAPOINTING experience with the Sales Manager of the store when I asked to return a hard drive that was not compatible with my laptop. The hard-drive was deemed as 'not faulty' because it was plugging in and 'working' on a laptop in store. Is it not highly possible that while the product was 'working' on the laptop in-store that other functions, such as saving annotated power-point presentations or other important documents, was not happening on my personal laptop (a completely different one to the one that he was using to 'assess' the product) ? I was refused an exchange and asked to bring my laptop in for further assessment.

As a side note, my laptop was functioning fine with other hard drives as I tested other hard drives before deciding to return my new SanDisk hard-drive, in case it was my laptop that was faulty. I now have a hard-drive that is not working on my laptop and I am unable to get an exchange or refund because the Good Guys don't exchange unless the item is deemed 'faulty' by sales staff. I see an issue there. Are these people trained to assess products? Why are they making this final decision? Poor policy choice by Good Guys and very poor handling of situation by the Sales Manager.

If you want electrical goods, DON'T buy it from Good Guys Belmont.

We purchased an air conditioner and organised for it to be installed by good guys recommended installer. The lady (Anthea C) told us the installer would pick up the air con unit for us from the warehouse and we wouldn't have to transport it ourselves. The installer arrived and told us he didn't have it and that installers NEVER EVER pick up the units for the customer. I had to race to the store (while they were removing the old unit) and pick up the unit which the (competent) girl in the warehouse had waiting for me (nice). Overall disappointing that Anthea gave us false information when we could have just taken the unit home when we purchased it. I have no complaints about the installers, they got it installed quickly and neatly. It would have been a 5 star experience if not for that one person.

Bought a portable air conditioner was in out of store in 10 minutes. Unfortunately after just two weeks it started hissing even when switched off, likely a refrigerant leak. Immediately returned the item to the store walked out with a replacement hassle free just as quickly as the original purchase. Great staff and customer service.

The staff I interacted with were unhelpful, spoke to me in such a manner that I found offensive, threatened to throw me out of store because of how I speak, and were otherwise completely unhelpful. I placed my order on line and went in store to pick it up. Upon arrival I had to wait an excessive period of time before I was served, I was shuffled between sales staff and I was made to feel like a second class citizen even though I just spent $3000. I wonder if they would've been more accommodating if they were getting a sales commission out of my visit. I won't be returning.

THE DODGY GUYS!

I went to the store to return the Air Conditioner as it wasn’t working and when I got there they were able to get it to work without any errors.

When packing it back into the box for me to take home they didn’t empty the water out of the unit and when they tilted it water went everywhere.

When I refused to take the unit and asked for a refund as it is for my 6 yr old son who is Autistic and has an elbow cast on the Store Sales Manager declined and only offered their Display Model AS AN EXCHANGE.

The Store Sales Manager then emptied what was left of the water in the unit onto the floor and told the warehouse staff to wrap if up and walked to the front of the store.

The Air conditioning units plug as left sitting in a puddle of water and then put back into its box.

The Good Guys have a NO RETURN & Terrible Exchange policy this includes when they do the damage to purchased products.

I have complained to The Good Guys and have received no response.

Will not be purchasing from The Good Guys No more!

NOT ONLY DO THEY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS BUT FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES AND THIER SAFETY AS WELL.

Had a great experience. I bought a faulty Air-Con, when I called staff were helpful and forthcoming with information. When I got to the store everyone was friendly and very helpful, I was able to exchange my faulty aircon quickly and pain free. Thanks folks.

2.5 months wait for an ipad! Why sell something you don't hold in stock without actually informing people that it is on back order. My daughter missed out on a birthday present because of the greediness of Good Guys.

Fantastic shop full of a vast selection of appliances and the staff are very helpful. Although it is in Belmont so there is the usual kind of people you would expect in Belmont, criminals.

Click and collect system does not work at all. No bays, website glitches, 5 minute wait was 30 minutes. 1 hour lost when most businesses have got this system perfected. Do not use this service.

These Good Guys need to look up the definition of Express. Purchased a microwave online with Express Pick up. Clicked the link to say I was on my way when I was leaving home (about 10min drive). Arrived at the store and parked out front as instructed. Clicked the link to say I was there. Waited. Waited. Waited. 15mins later still waiting. Decided to go inside. Queued up at the check out. When I said I was picking up an online purchase was told to wait and someone would bring it out. Waited. Waited. Waited. Then was told I needed to go around the back to pick up. Back in the car. Drive around the back. Give the docket to the woman, who disappears in to the warehouse. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Finally the microwave appears and I’m on my way 40 minutes after arriving at the store. Express pickup it was not.

I happen to be an ex-staff of Harvey Norman and I must say that Harvey Norman are great especially for their staff members with some of the best staff discounts one can ever imagine. But, I cannot stop lauding the Good Guys who always treat us like family and are always happy to assist us with the best discounts in town and even do a price match. I mostly used to rely on HN for my goods and they are good no doubt but I definately feel Good Guys have the bestest deals even without bargaining and a friendly staff who are always more than keen to assist their customers. I must say that Appliances Online, Harvey Norman both have the toughest competition from the Good Guys retailer.

Weakest and rudest sales team I’ve met in a while. They were either uneducated in their products or lazy because I was palmed off to 3 different people just to ask for help with my delonghi machine. After I repeatedly told them that I just needed some help with my machine because they kept asking me for a receipt and I told them I didn’t want to return the machine I just needed support with my machine because I wasn’t able to use it. Anyway after meeting this ridiculously routine I went a couple minutes down the road and met a man who works in an expensive coffee machine store and he helped me. Kindness is free!

Total weak sales people, business must be doing really well seeing as all the sales people are far to busy chatting between themselves to both with customers. Even acknowledging customers are even in the store would be a new thing to ALL the staff

Have visited the store on numerous occasions and have found the staff to be very friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile. Store is great, loads of parking and plenty stock.and variety. Definitely a store to visit

I have spent thousands at this place with a fridge, washing machine, cooktop, rangehood, so was very disappointed they couldn't take a few dollats off a vacuum to price match Binglee. Wont be going back anytime soon, lesson learnt, check other places out first!
