Tarangau Caravan Park

If I could I would leave a zero star, staff were rude & arrogant & kicked us out over an error made by them but tried to blame us for it. In addition to this the washing machine broke & left our soggy dirty clothes needing to be wrung out without even a rinse cycle & apparently according to them we broke it. Only two unisex toilets and showers available for use in the entire park. Poorly maintained.

Fantastic caravan park owners a very friendly. Walking distance to Cable Beach, cafes, local pub and shops.

The operators were extremely helpful with our last minute request. Everything was enjoyable and the bush poet was a highlight. We will be back for sure!

Always a pleasure to come to tarangau. Friendly efficient staff. Definitely the quiet alternative. Easy walk to the beach. Clean facilities.

Such clean ammenities, well equipped camp kitchen, great home-feel as park is on smaller side compared to Cable Beach but really loved it there

I’ve stayed here a few times and absolutely love this park, it’s quite, friendly and relaxing. There’s plenty of shade with mature tropical gardens. It’s a pleasant 1.7km walk to Cable Beach or there’s a bus stop directly outside of the park. This park is dog friendly. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended

Stop #34 on our lap of Aus with two dogs. This is the only dog friendly park in Broome itself so kudos to the park for that. Kudos also to reception for good service. The park itself though, is not up to the standard of others seve visited. The camp kitchen was almost bare and other common facilities are also lacking - no pool, no games or child areas etc. The park is very handy to the famous Cable Beach.

Quiet, no frills campsite. A bit costly compared to other camps who charge similar rates but offer a more facilities (wifi, swimming pool etc)

We initially came for 5 nights and have ended up staying for 9 lovely clean and friendly campsite would definitely come again very helpful booked all our trips efficiently

Nice spot. Walking distance to Cable Beach. Great bus services right outside gate. Park Staff super-helpful. Would stay again.
