Tarangau Caravan Park

Great location and walking distance to Cable Beach.
Very safe and fabulous management.
Left our caravan for a few days while we went off exploring Dampier peninsula. Everything perfect when we returned.
Shady and beautiful lush grounds that are well maintained.
Highly recommend this caravan park in Broome.
We stayed there over 2 and a half weeks and didn’t want to leave!

We could only stay for one night unfortunately but from start to finish it was a great experience. There's lots of shade and trees which keep the heat at bay. The ammenities were all clean and the womens bathrooms had plenty of space for you to get ready for dinner! The staff were an absolute delight as well. 10/10 would recommend

We had a wonderfully comfortable time at Tarangau. The park was tranquil, meticulously clean, attractive and there was lovely green grass on our site. There was also some interesting wildlife. Thank you staff and Jennica. Carlien and Greg Queensland

Great little park close to cable beach. Lot of trees, plenty of space, nice kitchen, clean showers, friendly and helpful reception. Highly recommended

Lovely green grass camping areas, dog friendly, shady trees, clean facilities, always well maintained. All different sizes sites, and not crowded on top of each other. Pricing was $73 a night for 4 adults and 2 dogs on a powered site

Positive- lots of shades, trees, generous spaces, lots of wildlife including birds and tiny frogs, clean amenities, helpful staffs, good tv reception, washing machines and dryers at $5 per use, dog friendly, fenced and secure, bins for general waste and recyclable.

Negative- wifi only 200 mb limit and available only around the office and not the whole site. Fair yomp to the beach, restaurant and shops.

An absolute gem. A tropical paradise with lush green lawns, palm trees and an abundance of flowering frangipanis. Once you check in you’re free to drive around and choose your own large, peaceful and shady site. The facilities and grounds are clean and tidy and the park managers cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable.

Quiet, large shady sites, great amenities even with the little green frogs. Lovely, super friendly staff. We loved our stay. This will definately be our go to park when in Brooke.

Grant and his team is all very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Eventhough this season was very busy and hectic for them, they were trying their best to provide best service they can. All the amenities are maintained well and clean. They will always get on top of thing to solve any issues to make feel comfortable for us.
Sadly, some guests aren't appreciate and respect enough how much effort they put to provide the cheap rate. I think some negative commets are from those people who doesn't appreciate what they do.
I highly recommend this caravan park, and I will definitely come back in the future.

Neat and tidy caravan park, priced fantastically over the other offerings of broome. Ablutions were well maintained, would stay again.

37$ a night unpowered, cheapest option in Broome. No pool, fair walk to the beach, quite expensive at the end.
The cherry on top of the cake was the chainsaw at 8 am.looks like we are not even here to sleep or enjoy a quiet brekky.
Lot better to camp unofficial in the bush, save 40$!

If I could give them 10 stars I would! The best campground we have stayed in. EVER! Every single staff member and the owners are so wonderful! They are friendly, caring and helpful. The grounds are very well maintained, kitchen has everything you need including an oven! Bathroom facilities are excellent and cleaned daily. They even have a fish cleaning station!

We have loved our stay with Tarangau and will definitely be back in the future when we come to Broome again! Keep up the great work guys 10/10

Total lack of flexibility and understanding. I had to cancel due to NSW covid outbreak and border closure. Asked them for refund or to move my deposit to a rescheduled trip next year. They refused and kept referring to their cancellation policy, even though 5 weeks notice. Tarangau Caravan Park Management has a very different way to deal with customers who cancel due reasons beyond their controls, than most other businesses in the travel industry these days. Obviously haven't learnt that doing right by your customer rips rewards.

Best caravan park in Broome. Nice laid back alternative to the MEGA resort nearby. More room, less noise and super friendly helpful staff. Got a pull thru site as requested. Sqeaky clean facilities.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Tarangau Caravan Park for 3 weeks, we had wonderful time there.
Everything is super clean, the kitchen has everything you need, the park is well maintained, people working there are absolutely helpful and lovely.
Highly recommend it.

First time we have stayed here and we loved it, lots of shade, ablutions always clean, it will be our go to park for the future.
PS: a sign in the laundry telling people their washing will be unloaded if they don't return when machine finishes would be helpful.

Booked in with Tarangau to start for a night in August. Unfortunately due to WA border restrictions we were unable to make the journey. We gave Tarangau more than 4wks notice that WA wouldn't let us in. Michelle
and Grant Garrett would not refund our booking of just 1 night. It really disappointing that as all Australians try to move out of Covid there is no compassion shown for those who have their plans cancelled beyond their control. I received a refund from all other bookings with this being the exception.

Taranga Park Making Profits from Travellers misadventures and restrictions due too Government Border Restrictions ReCovid, We travelled through this park on our way to Darwin and thought it was great, we made 2 Bookings for our return trip and paid in full, unbeknown too us there was a covid out Break in NT and the State border was closed with no way of knowing when it would re open thus we couldn't make our reservation.
Tried contacting prior and got a message directing us to their website, we emailed a couple of days later and was told that we didn't give them enough notice, so there was no refund or credit, Against ACCC Directive Re Governmen Restrictions. Will be making a Complaint to the Ombudsman on our return to Perth.
Very Disappointed.

The best caravan park! Beautiful amenities with a wonderful chilled out vibe. The staff are all wonderful and hard working from checkin to checkout. Absolutely value for money. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back.
