Tarangau Caravan Park

We had a tiny site with not a lot of shade but we were lucky to get in as tried 3 other parks first but was quite nice, shower was good and people were friendly, about 1klm walk to beach

Total lack of flexibility and understanding. I had to cancel our booking due to NSW covid outbreak and border closure. Asked them for refund or move my deposit to a rescheduled trip next year. They refused and kept referring to their cancellation policy, even though 5 weeks notice. Tarangau Caravan Park Management has a very different way to deal with customers who cancel due to reasons beyond their control, than most other businesses in the travel industry these days. Obviously have yet to learn that doing right by your customer rips rewards.

This park is amazing. Every thing is sparkling. What Grant and Michelle have done in the park is fantastic. Great to be back. Ann and Garth.

Beware the cancellation policy, it is the harshest in the business. COVID border restrictions mean 100% forfeiture of all monies paid, no changes allowed. We did eventually get a satisfactory outcome from the owners but it took a lot of effort. It is probably fine as a drop in but paying anything in advance is risky. 3 stars because they did ultimately respond the same way all the other operators did.

Very poor customer service, staff are very rude, cashing on COVID, no sensitivity and fleecing customer $50 for an administration fee to change your bookings. Would not recommend this Caravan Park.

Best caravan park in broome! Staff is extremely helpfull and friendly and make you feel very welcome. Amenities are clean and the park has a lot of trees and plants. Great location, very close to cable beach! Cheaper than most other caravan parks aswell. Would definately stay again!

We have been coming to Tarangau caravan park for 10 years now, we were tired of the big an impersonal caravan parks in Broome/Cable beach.
Great management by Grant & Michelle, an their staff are super friendly and can’t do enough for you.especially in tough Covid times.
Clean amenities, they have entertainment come to the park which helps raise money for the RFDS.
We stay for 2 months and it has a nice friendly community feel to this park.we will definitely be back

Very unfriendly staff, good amenities though. For roughly the same price the other campgrounds at Cable Beach are far better.

Well in all honesty, given the amount of publicity Broome gets as "Tourist Meca", I expected more, in fact A LOT more. Tarangau caravan park needs a desperate makeover.
Sorry guys but I don't give much away when it comes to being honest. Expensive for 3 nights park accommodation. Clean facilities but I wouldn't like to stay there if was raining.sites need a revamp for camping/caravanning.

The caravan park is super clean and nice green, the staff is helpful, very comfortable to overnight.

I just had a 12 night stay at this park and can’t speak highly enough of it, the owners Grant and Michelle and there dedicated staff are the hardest working people I’ve ever seen in a caravan park the love and the passion shows all over the the park, to the future guests I would highly recommend Tarangau Caravan Park, but do your bit to help out, ie mop shower after you finish it’s not that hard. Also a special mention to the very friendly and hard working Bekkah your a legend, thank you all once again for a great stay.

Beautiful caravan park we were only to stay 1 night but loved it so much ended up staying the entire holiday there. Met some amazing people there. The owner Grant is absolutely lovely and so hardworking. I felt at home there

What a lovely caravan park close to Cable Beach. We were greeted in an above and beyond friendly way, helped set up our caravan for the first time (in our life) and shown us the ins and outs about parking. Thank you kindly! The park itself is nice and shady and the amenities spotless. Probably not the best choice for families with children, but definitely for people seeking the quiet.

Pleasant reasonable sites for caravan and awning.
Park the car in front of the van.
Lovely shade.
Amenities clean.
Water pressure a bit low for the caravan ensuite but use your water tanks and pump for shower and then top your tanks up as required.
Stayed 4 nights.
Nice quiet shady park.

Location excellent. The site was average at the front of the park with little shade. On our last night the owners squeezed in two 4WD near our van making things very tight. Unfortunately our neighbour came home and reversed into our van due to the tight squeeze. I understand the owners need every $$$ they can get this time of the year but the line needs to be drawn in the sand for the safety of patrons using and paying $$ to stay.

Friendly staff very helpful, clean amenities which could do with an update, great location not too far from cable beach

$46 per night for a unpowered 4 meter by 4 meter dusty site - is a bit steep. Very clean facilities and well managed would have rated higher but for the size of the site.

Nice and quiet prices are good friendly staff amenities are very clean and the caravan park is kept nice and tidy
