Six Senses Gourmet Thai

It was my birthday on 28 December we book a table for 6 pax we order a drink they serve drink for 2 people and I personally wait my cocktail for 1 hour ask them so many time and at the end they end up making us cancel the drink they don’t have any shame for their mistake not even apologize for their mistake worst experience I have ever had in the restaurant.
The bartender have so much attitude as his name is Daniel ask him why the drink is late he was saying there is no order but the waiter was keep saying to us the drink is in making.
Such a bad days never going back. Ruined my whole birthday

Went there for my friends birthday, waited over an hour for two cocktails which they kept saying they were making every time we asked-on checking it for the third time after an hour, the Bartender “Daniel” just said to cancel it without any regret for making us wait every time we asked. Worst thing is that drink was ordered by the birthday girl. Food took ages, multiple tables that came in after us received the food way earlier than we did. Kept saying they were short staffed but half of the restaurant was empty by 8 and we had sat down at 8. Such a bad experience especially for celebrating special occasions. Would not recommend purely due to the horrible attitude towards the customers. Just explaining why it was delayed was enough but saying that they were short staffed and it was getting prepared every 39 minutes is no excuse.

Absolutely ridiculous behaviour by the bartender.

I had been here a few years ago while on holiday and remember the food being good. We decided to go back and we were not disappointed. Everything we ordered was delicious and had plenty of flavours as you would expect Thai food to have. The duck spring rolls and the crab papaya salad were particular favourites. The cocktail menu is very gourmet and I wasn’t too sure what to expect but the cocktail perfectly presented and packed a punch. The wait staff are very good, I was impressed with the service and knowledgeable of the menu. We sat at the front of the restaurant which I personally found to be a bit dark and the pages of the menu are black so made for difficult reading. Something to bear in mind if taking older people. The thing that really let this place down like so many other places is the toilets. They are awful and need a good clean with some TCL to get them to an acceptable standard. However, I do recommend this place and will go again.

Food average. Service very very slow. Had to ask twice for our order to be taken then waited 1 hour to get our meals. Won't bother going again.

My second time here. My first experience was good, the second time was below average. The thai noodle vegetarian option i ordered was cold. And it was difficult to explain to the staff that I need noodle with tofu and vegetarian option. The staff who took our order was not in a good mood too.

The overall experience was nice but the service definitely has room for improvement. Went there with a group of 5 including a 2 year old. It was totally fine for me to ask for a highchair but when the food came and we needed kid cutlery. I had to ask one of the staff again which is kind of let down as I would expect a proper restaurant deliver some kind of standard. And the staff (red glasses lady) was actually chewing her gum when I asked her which I find it quite impolite.

The entrees and mains came altogether. As the mains came one by one, the table became cluttered. The staff was carrying a dish and tried to put on our table, the table was so full that she just stood there for few seconds and didn't even try to move any of our dishes. We had to move the dishes for her so that she could put the dish on the table.

No one would ask if they could take away the empty plates. They would just come and grab it. I was actually still eating with food on my plate. They tried to grab my plate without asking TWICE. I'm a slow eater and I was concentrating with my toddler so I didnt even notice someone tried to take my plate.

I think this is the most frustrating meal I've ever had.

As we walked past outside thinking where to try we decided this place was worth a go and wow what a meal we had, the entree's we ordered were delicious and both our mains were full of flavour and had a great mix of elements, we will definitely be back to eat here again, the service was amazing and everyone was great

Really great lunch. The restaurant is nice and clean, staff are polite and very helpful, and the menu was imaginative. The food was very tasty and well presented. The pricing was within expectations.

Tried this restaurant tru dash tonight, their price is higher than usual so one can expect sort of quality. The deep fried fish barramundi came in foil without the sauce on the side (its part of the dish, how can they forget that) instead we received a small salad that we didnt order at all. The green chicken curry has no flavor at all, our local curry is way better in less price. Its disappointing given the name. Bad food, bad experience, not worth $70.

Food and service were great. Refusal to split the bill for 3 people is disgraceful. On that alone we would not go back. That’s dark ages expecting everyone to carry cash.

Indifferent and uncaring service means we won't be back with this chain again. The staff really couldn't care less, its a get them in and out attitude combined with Thai food which isn't authentic at all. If cheap and cheerful is what you want then its for you. Frankly we prefer food that is full of flavour and care.that's not in the recipe at this restaurant chain

Yeah nice place well decorated but meals are quite small and bit pricey I thought I’d take a chance and go for the barramundi for $31 big mistake it was about as filling as a bowl of cereal. Maybe the curries taste great but if you want a proper meal I wouldn’t come here maybe if your missus really wants to then eat something beforehand so you’re not hungry afterwards. There’s a san churro across the road so you may be tempted to buy more overpriced food just to satisfy hunger the same way a home cooked steak would for quarter the price.

Been coming to this restaurant for years. They always accommodate the family with any dietary requirements. The first person who served us must have had a bad day:) the second person refused to add Tofu to the Salad because there wasn’t an option on their software. Wouldn’t usually comment but it’s my daughters birthday? Well probably just a one off (not great timing!) But that’s life.

Appalling! Booked a table for five but only had four chairs. Meal took over an hour to be served. Beef Massaman so tough my dog would have refused it. Other meals served lukewarm at best. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Well priced, enjoyable vegetarian options. Let down by the plastic straw situation and clearing the table will others are eating- makes one feel rushed and more table service. You get what you pay for I guess

Terrible service…$8 charge per bottle for corkage and they do nothing to help with your bottles.
Good is okay, had better Thai, but great restaurant.

I booked for 25 people.pre booked the orders 2 weeks prior. Still have to wait for 1 and half hours and under staffed to manage the restaurant. They don't let us to pay individually. So one person have to pay for the whole group of 25 and took an hour to sort everyone's bill. Rather enjoying we all spent our valuable time to spend bills. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone any more.
