Sail and Anchor reviews
80Best steak sandwich.you nailed it Sail and Anchor. The drink station was fantastic idea and nice to see that your looking after the designated driver.
Great place but they don’t believe in cleanliness so don’t expect a clean table or to have clean arms when you leave!
Love it. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. One of the best in options in Freo for a nice meal of you ask me. Everyone was very happy with the meals and the wait staff even asked how it all was. Good service.
Honestly I've been here twice and your squid is spot on all the time! I love your drinks, food and atmosphere will be back again hopefully soon!
Located at one of the most happening place in Fremantle. Surrounded by bars and restaurants makes sure that one is never too far from food.
Has in-house restaurant with buffet option.
Not sure what happen to their beer selection but it wasn't great compared to what I have experienced here for a long time. Staff were friendly and professional
Ordered a sea food shared platter for 2 at 60 dollars. It was not worth the money. Will not recommend to anyone.
Hi,
I have based this review in line with the competitors in the area.
Rating hospitality can be misleading and also on a persoanl prefernace.
I based mine on a 30+ couple having dinner please beers and:
1. Customer Service
2. Food & drinks
3. Athmosphere and overall feeling
We will re-visit regardless and perhaps revise the review.
Thank you.
Nice, friendly atmosphere. [Note: Response to your response. Getting 5 stars. Its something unexplainable about the service. If you have been to Indonesia or Japan - and the manner in which people serve you - it is just awesome. Not sure if it can be replicated].
Tasty food but served cold. Wait staff did not care.
Last night, balcony upstairs. Both wife and I had fridge cold. Pointed out to waiter who said “thanks” and collected the plates. Kids meals were good. The wine I ordered was out so I had to spend $10 more on something else. Your staff just did not care. The place still has the great feel I remember from being very regular there before we had kids though.
Awesome manager Rebekah after trying to get a table for 10 kids and adults we walked everywhere, she saved us reseating others to fit us in so accomadating and a $15 chicken palmy and a pint you couldn't go wrong yumo food and we will be back cheers Rebekah!
They show a home state footy team final on the big screen downstairs and refuse to put the sound on. Even for a reserved table there specifically to watch it. Ridiculous.
Get to know that they might have free wine tasting, you just need to ask. Staff there is super friendly.
Busy little shop in a high traffic area. Not the biggest range of stuff, but still enough to satisfy most pallets
Big grand old pub with so many drinking and eating and hang out rooms - you could get lost - the special for lunch was very tasty - very popular pub destination.
The price is affordable. Even on weekdays they have a reasonable crowd. It's all jolly and lovely. The staff is good and cooperative. One guy sitting on a table across me broke a glass but they immediately cleaned up. No mess was made but of course they would have billed him for the damage. Overall it was a good place to sit and catch up with friends.
Great start or finish to a night out in Freo, always full of life and people, micro brewery if you wanna taste the local fair, good pub meals to boot.
Great food and cold drinks. Being a monday it was pretty quiet so the service was fast, food awesome, drinks cold and prices are what you expect for pub food and drinks. Not our first visit and won't be our last
Good place to sit and catch up with friends over a pint or three. Food menu/price left a bit to be desired. Can sit outside on the veranda overlooking the mall, that's nice.
Had a chicken sandwich, chicken was charred perfectly, sauces were balanced, and the bread wasn't heavy. Came with beer battered chips which are always a hit.
My brother had a chicken parmi which he said was great, we are both chefs by the way.
Good job J. P.look forward to having a beer with you again soon.
