The atmosphere and service is great. Food is delicious especially the steak so tender, my friend enjoyed her lunch too.

I went there for a belated Anniversary Dinner
It was a cold reception on arrival had no idea on new government regs.after both supplying vac certs and gov id.eventually the actual place we were given to then sit under the aircon fan was so cold we asked to be moved
After again moving to another spot that was still uncomfortable we finally ate and when asked if we wanted desert we said it is to cold to eat it and asked for the bill.and would you believe then went to pay and they asked me for a tip.really guys terrible experience after being there before and really enjoying it
Shame wont be back.food was still nice.service.ambience.comfort.a big Zero for us

Unfortunately what I thought would be an amazing dining experience was dreadful. The room was so cold I had to ask for a shawl and it made sitting uncomfortable. We chose the tasting menu but out of the 6 dishes, only 2 were worth eating. The crab toast was too salty, the carpaccio had no flavor, the goats cheese pasta was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever eaten, the fillet was blue and we asked for medium rare, the harissa carrots were the other dish that was exceptional, but the broccolini was like it had been in a salt bath and couldn’t be eaten. At this point we’d been there 3 hours, in the cold, so we asked to skip the Brie dish and straight to the tiramisu. A go to dessert for me, but this was also a let down. A pile of cream covered in cocoa powder to hide a heavily boozed piece of brioche that was bitter and better left out. Most was left on our plates. So 3 hours in the cold for food that was mostly inedible and then slung with a $450 bill - dreadful. The two tables next to us had the same opinion of the food, the room temperature (also asked for shawls for warmth) and left dissatisfied. Sadly I’ll not be returning in a hurry or recommending to family nor friends. Shame as I had such high hopes for this dining experience.

Felt like a 3 star restaurant w 4 star prices and decor. A disappointing experience. Only the 36 month aged steak was on point. Service, birthday muffin from woolies, other food were not good at all. I’m glad the birthday boy had the steak but I will not going back for anything else.

One of Perth's dining experiences I recently attended for my 40th Birthday and my friends and I were extremely impressed with the experience.

Firstly the staff were professional, friendly and didn't interrupt or hide, they were always there at the perfect time. Their appearance and the restaurants cleanliness were impeccable.

The menu offers a great range of the highest quality steaks at a great price and everyone loved the food, clearing their plates, sides and deserts.

I recommend this restaurant for a great business or networking lunch or a fantastic venue for celebrating any occasion at dinner.

Thank you team Rockpool for an unforgettable experience.

We went to have dinner a little bit late. Good points were that they waited for us to order, The meat was delicious.one of the best fillet I have had in Perth.but not the best and comparable to other good restaurants not as expensive as this one.
What is not acceptable is to take suuuuuuuuuch a long time to be served our steaks. Our partners received their pasta 20 min before our main course, so we had dinner in two shifts.we were asked by a waiter, we asked for it.more than three times to different waiters.we asked for some drinks.that took sooooooo much time to come. The reason was there was no ice.an unbeliaveble problem for the coke.but two beers were delayed because of the lack of scarce frozen water.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH (seriously) to one of your representatives (Spanish speaker) that relizing of the problem, brougth the beers and coke (with ice) and offered us complimentary glasses of wine (delicious).
She apologized in the name of the Restaurant.
Her attitude worths three stars in my review.

The service and staff was exceptional and my wife's meal of Mount barker roast chicken breast was very tasty, along with the sides of grilled asparagus, roasted pumpkin/sweet potato and mixed greens.
But unfortunately my 62 day aged grass fed $89 ribeye which was cooked perfectly medium rare, was very disappointing. It was chewy, full of muscle and gristle and not enjoyable to eat. Now, I have eaten at this establishment before and was very plessed, but this time however seeing as they pride themselves on there aged beef, it was not pleasing at all!

We went there on Thursday night and had the 3 courses menu. To be honest I would come back only for the steak. I wouldn't get anything else. My friend had the fish dish and she felt sick because the fishy was too oily and strong fishy smell. The other dishes and the dessert was just okay, but the steak was sooo tasty. I had medium rare and the meat just melted in my mouth.

We three had been looking forward to this experience for some time. We were not disappointed. Two of us had the rib eye on the bone and it was pink snapper for the other. Three sides were potato and cabbage Gratin, Royal Blue potatoes and WA Sauteed mixed mushrooms. We had the Sommelier assist us with our drinks, and our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. Everything was delicious. We sadly had no room for dessert, however, after overhearing it was my belated birthday dinner, our waiter organised a delicious cupcake with a candle. Priceless.

My stake was not really cooked to the way a order but all in all not too bad bit over priced but we are in the casino in perth wa
It's up to you if you eat hear

Fabulous, knowledgeable and personable wait staff and Maitre'd. Food was exceptional. French Martini to die for!

A bit of a let down spend over 500 bucks. A piece of glass in the table and the waitress nudge the entree bread and just didn't bother to replace it. Chose the best cut of steak feel that it wasn't the best cut they can offer at the price range.
Pros atmosphere really nice, great for romantic outting.

The service was fantastic Wagyu Stake was average not worth the $260 i paid for it, I was expecting this to be the best meal ever.they put to much salt on the chips i would of like to have added my own salt to taste

What a waste of money. Piece of fish the size of my hand that was dry and burnt. Ordered the Wagyu pasta as an entree, mince Bolognese I could have made at home. My husband had the King Prawns with goat cheese tortellini. 3 tiny prawns with 8 little parcels for $52. The only saving grace was the lovely waiter. I will definitely go elsewhere next time.

If I were a cow, I would like to end up here. Starting in their cellar sampling the great wines, more than 2000 to choose from, and then moving on to the fridge to age perfectly, the grill to be cooked to perfection and then being paired with great side dishes and more wine all in a great ambience.

Nice atmosphere but extremely over priced for a Woolworths steak cooked on a flame grill. Everything, including any sides, is extra; prepare to pay $75, minimum, for an average steak, by its self, on a plate.

Disappointed. Turned up at 8.30pm for our booking and table not available and had to wait at the bar for 10 minutes. Ordered starters and mains. Starters arrived promptly, but the mains did not arrive until 10.20pm, over an hour later. The steak was abysmal, full of gristle, I have had better in a country pub. Side dishes were good. Wine was good, although an extortionate price. Dessert was dry. They turned the lights down and cranked up the air-conditioning as we were only one of three tables lefts due to the lateness of the food arriving. $700 for four and my wife only had a plate of greens. Over rated, disappointed and certainly not worth the money.

Brilliant place expensive but a place like this would cost a fortune to run the service was 10 out of 10 and the steak I had was some 5 year old fresian dairy dry aged craziness will go down as one of the best pieces of meat I have ever eaten and cooked to a perfect medium rare great fun, thanks to all I will be back when next in Perth!

Absolutely amazing. Went there for an anniversary dinner. We got a secluded table with moody lighting which made the meal very intimate.

The food was amazing. I didn't have a high opinion of Rockpool going in as I'd previously had a poor experience. I'm glad I have them a redemption chance. The food was incredible. We were served by a stunning lady named Ava. Her service was amazing, 5/5. To top it off we got a cute anniversary cupcake at the end. All round great experience.

We ordered the calamari, Cape Grim fillet, potato puree and oven roasted pumpkin and sweet potato.
