RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort reviews
69Wow, a little sceptical about coming here, thinking it might be just a money grab but seriously do yourself a favour and get out here the dolphins do come and check you out with the scheduled feeding and walking along the beach, we had 1 trail us while walking our dog, he/she and our dog had a moment and we both moved on. The resort is top knock, having a belly while watching the sunset and then something to eat, outstanding
Beautiful place and it MUST be in your "things to do list" in WA.reasonably priced drinks and food.dolphins were nice.sunrise was beautiful.staff were friendly.rooms were clean.overall great experience.we would recommend to stay minimum 4 or 5 days and relax.
Wonderful place to spend your holiday.very clean rooms and they are cleaned daily.the customer service was excellent, I want to pass my complement to Agata at the reception who was friendly and attentive.
The food prices in the restaurant is a bit too much and I wish they had more options. Overall this is a great place to relax and enjoy your self.
Beautiful resort, excellent facilities and the dolphins were amazing to see.
Unpowered sites desperately need some shelter from the elements. Intense sun all day and very strong winds at night made camping in a tent hard work.
We stayed with a group in “garden view room”. Accommodation was ok.
Dinner was ok, but I thought the breakfast was one of the worst buffets I’ve had. No juice, cold “hot breakfast. “ Spreads “for toast was a bit of red jam thrown in a dessert dish! No marmalade, no honey.
Had to ask waiter to replenish cereal, she opened several drawers before it was found.
We found Dolphin feeding underwhelming, way too much talking, & too few Dolphins,
even they got bored & drifted away! Mona
Very poorly managed phone contact service. If you need to speak to someone on the phone in Monkey Mia, good luck. Called several times, left voicemail, no luck. Called RAC main office only to be redirected to the sane number!
This place is incredible. Dont be too fussed about waking up to see the dolphins in the morning. Make sure you are there for sunset and be sure our slippery friends will make an appearance.
My husband and I had a 1 night stop over at this relaxing resort. We sat and watched the most beautiful sunset with dolphins passing by. Later we went to the restaurant which had the most delicious meals. I would recommend this beautiful resort to anybody looking for a nice relaxing get away, but you definitely need more than 1 night.
Its a beautiful and modern place with everything you need in a holiday spot but it is also the only place at monkey mia so its gotta be good right
Loved the camping facilities (we had a caravan). All new. I appreciated the baby room so much and the kitchen, big and new. I did not like the restaurants serving pub food when they could add more fresh fish dishes given the fact that they are one of the best fishing spots in WA. Also a shaded playground would be great
Beautifully resourced and maintained camping spot. We also enjoyed the proximity to the morning dolphin feeding and the wild emus strolling among the campervans!
I liked it here very much, ammenities second to non i have ever seen, nice beaches, good bars and food, a liitle expensive allround but thats life in WA.
This place is magic love everything about been here so peaceful and relaxing. Definitely will come back.
Disappointed, OK as a resort, not much else there, Over rated. You can see Dolphins close up in the Marina at Whyalla South Australia no cost.
Great park the facilities were 5 star. Able to wander down to the beach and watch dolphins any time of the day. Would highly recommend at minimum 3 nights.
Great caravan park. Very busy. If you want to miss the crowd, take a chance and go for a swim, the dolphins get around.
Bit disappointing only get 2 fish camera crew blocking your view over in 2 seconds and just talk waste of money
The caravan park and resort in general is modern and clean. Very big camp kitchen, ovens, several sinks and cooktops ect
Amenities excellent. But the ground where the caravans are is covered in crushed shells and they hurt when they get in your sandels.looks fresh as it is all white but in gets in the van, even when you are careful. The flys to are horrible you can not sit outside in the afternoon they just swarm. We ate at the monkey bar one night nice food not to expensive.
Also good luck cooking outside the emus wandering around are very pushy. Flys do disappear just before dusk, ho and the beach has a lot of seaweed. Also the swimming pool is freezing even on a hot afternoon. Having said all that it is pretty and the staff are very nice.
Camping facilities were great but haven't had the chance to see the dolphins feeding as it was announced between 7: 45 am and noon, but all was done before 9: 30am when we turned out. If you don't want to miss it go there from 7: 45am no later than that and be ready to wait a bit if dolphins take time to show up.
Brilliant resort with two separate pools and great infrastructure (BBQ areas, camping area, villas, etc) staff is friendly
