It is a 8 dorm- would prefer a 4-bed dorm
. Service I can judge only the reception: absolutely friendly & helpful

Large and only facility in Monkey Mia. The fee is $30. Check in was friendly, quick and professional. Room was relatively small, the bathroom was very small. The view of the beach from the room was sensational. The condition of the room was rather mediocre. Bed was comfortable and there was a kettle. Food in the restaurant and bar was ok. In itself a beautiful complex right by the sea with a campsite, bungalows and rooms. Unfortunately not everything is clean and in order. 12/18/23

Campsite… was once lovely…peaceful and quiet.nowadays you are crammed in like sardines…people with Loud music…speed boats and jet skis in the swimming zone…yet they say when you check in…we’ve got a baby dolphin…yeah right…how long do they expect them to stick around when there are fishing boat, speed boats and jet skis whizzing up and down the swimming area…I once loved this place.but I won’t be back…instead of my four day stay. I shall do one night and drive the 9 hrs back home…

We were there just to see the dolphins. We were lucky because 4 dolphins came into shore.

Amazing location, great entertainment, great food and service. Perfect for a few days to explore Shark Bay area and the Francois Peron National park. Abundant nature and wild animals around.

We had a powered caravan site booked our first sight we were given had a very aggressive dog next to us so we were moved to another site no problem. Excellent facilities very clean and maintained lots of kids around some not supervised. We also saw lots of dogs in this caravan park mostly on leads. Its a very windy time of the year but we did have a couple of lovely days. We did hear that a couple were told they were too old and overweight to go on paddle boats. There were kayak to hire, resturant food was amazing so good option. All in all we will recommend staying again.

Have been before so know how bloody annoying the emus are. However as an RAC member a discount price of $74 for a campsite is pretty rich, made even worse in that the new shower block ran out of water mid shower. Mrs also had luke warm shower as was mine the next day. Made a complaint, office rang me to say no issues. Very very disappointed.

First time visitors with our grandson staying for a week in a beach side room
School holiday time it was obviously packed and there is a massive caravan park attached as well

This really is a fantastic park. We had the ocean front powered site which made getting back and forth from the beach easy. The sites are spacious and we were close to a huge patch of grass, kitchen, laundry, toilets.

The only issue for us is that our site was very far away from the dolphin experience area, the restaurants, the general store and the pools. We have a 2yo and a 4yo and the 2yo was unable to walk the whole way without being carried. It also made it a big outing to go get a coffee. Especially with the crazy wind and heat we had during our stay.

Overall though we really loved it. Expensive but I feel like it was worth in it

This place is all about money. Not interested in giving people value for money. The rooms do not have plates, only quarter plates. Towels are old and frayed. Food is expensive as they are the only place in Monkey Mia. No PR, Not happy to be staying here.

Excellent resort - well priced accommodation and food, amenities are super clean and nice to use. Don’t forget 2 luxurious pools!

I stayed in a powered ensuite site in a camper van. The ensuite is modern and clean, the amenities are great and staff are friendly. The beach is at your doorstep with a bar and restaurant on site to enjoy. Will definitely return to stay

Amazing location with great access to marine life. A little pricy with park entry fees on top of accommodation fees. Make sure you bring enough food as the general store is expensive and limited.

Great resort, plenty of space. Choice of places to eat, drink and swim.
General store has a good selection of stuff, and even though there's no other choice for shopping, the prices are actually reasonable.
Thanks to Tayla on the Front Desk for handling our booking and late check-out and just generally being helpful.

Clean, well run, great facilities and nice beach.
We saw dolphins from the beach every morning and every afternoon for the 5 days we stayed.

We absolutely loved our stay at Monkey Mia, the staff were friendly and the quality of food at Boughshed Restaurant was excellent. We were spoilt with dolphin sightings daily both morning and afternoon. We stayed in the apartments with a sea view near the Monkey Bar. The cleanliness of the room could have been improved, but like most facilities, they are probably short-staffed. Where our room was based, unfortunately, was noisy in the evenings. We will definitely be back but will choose different accomodation like the beachfront villa or garden view room. Overall we would highly recommend RAC Monkey Mia, an awesome experience, and look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful resort, beach front.
This was my second stay but i think some areas need a little bit of improvement/care like the common kitchen for the rooms/dorms; kitchen had one kettle working, the stoves are old, oven missing the trays, toaster really dirty. Also would be really nice if the swimming pool could be heated for the kids to enjoy when is not summer; an addition of a jumping pillow would be great as well. Apart from that it is beautiful place surrounded by nature and turquoise calm waters.

Husband and I went for camping in a powered site for a couple of nights. The place is clean and organised, except for some spots (like the gazebo close to the pool) that haven’t been maintained well. We also love the early morning dolphin interaction. On our first night, though, we were so unlucky to have rowdy, inconsiderate drunk camping neighbours. Admin policy says 10pm is the winding down time but they kept going till midnight. No one admonished them for not observing the rule. Husband couldn’t sleep. This must be looked into.

Great. Lots of accommodation choices. Beautiful position. Dolphin experience great especially if you get chosen to feed them which I did
