Fantastic Service!

My car broke down and I had to call RAC to tow it back to my house as it was late in the evening and didn’t want to waste time trying to diagnose so late at night, only waited about an hour for tow so that wasn’t bad at all. The next day I called for a service tech to come have a look at what was wrong - he checked the electrical diagnostics which showed that I’d had an engine misfire and explained it was probably the ignition coils or the spark plugs - had to get it towed again for it to make it to the workshop at myaree and they were very prompt with it. They called and told me it was the coils and a rough price for replacement which I was happy with and told them to go along with. Throughout the entire process they were very informative around work they were doing and pricing - happy to answer any silly questions I had. Super friendly and professional. I was so worried about my car but they were honestly so so helpful and reassuring throughout the entire process. My total bill even came quite under what I was quoted which was just a bonus for me.
The issue is now fixed to my knowledge/no loud clunking sounds anymore and again just an amazing experience of customer service from them. Will be going here for my general servicing from now on too.

I was so pleased with every aspect of having work done on my car today. Excellent reception, a marvellous Courtesy Bus service and to top it off an even better price than the given quote. Obviously I have chosen the right place to care for my wheels, thanks to all at Myaree

Good but disappointed that I had to pay so much labour when they were already doing work ie I had Head gasket changed but they were already removing engine coil and replacing spark plugs (half of what was need to get to gasket) and I was still charged full labour

My mazda 3 was towed there due to water coolant outlet burst a week ago and they asked me water coolant outlet and thermostat needs to be replaced. Once they repair car and deliver it to me there was knock sensor error engine check light and car was producing rattling noise on acceleration as well. But later I realize they did not pluged in knock sensor which was giving knock sensor engine light. Also they disassembled IMRC solenoid to replace broken water coolant outlet and while reassembling they connected vaccum hose line to wrong port (nipple) of IMRC solenoid and that was the cause of rattling noise. Apart from that there was slide crack on reservoir hose that was connected to water coolant outlet which they should have checked before connecting. Due to this again coolant was leaking. I had to go to another Mechanics to sort out all those issues and paid money again, as RAC were saying another appointment is only after a month and I cant drive a car with faulty error code, leaking coolant and rattling noise.

After a standard inspection I received my car back with the drivers door covered in engine grime. PLS see pics. I did not receive the Service Report allowing me to know the result of inspection as promised. The desk clerk stated a most recent brand new high quality part was the fault, lol! When I said no thanks to the fix.

RAC ROADSIDE call out. Professional, service guy tidy, clean, quick to diagnose, easy to understand. The tow truck came took car away, the car was taken to work shop, attended to in quick time and price to fix was very reasonable

Had my car towed and serviced there at recommendation of RAC lady on phone who booked the tow. She said they had availability to service it (whereas my usual mechanic nearby was fully booked). My car has been there three days. I have spent over an hour on hold (in total) trying to get through to the Myaree service centre to get an update on my car. No update yesterday despite a promise they would call. Have got through today to hear they clocked off at 1pm yesterday for EOFY ‘meetings’ and even though they’re open today, they’re only working on cars booked in for today. So, more Uber expenses. If they had informed me yesterday that my car would not be ready in the afternoon, I would have hired a car for my weekend work and driving kids around and getting to and from work (30 mins away) on Monday. Very unprofessional and unaccountable. Won’t
Be using the RAC Myaree Service Centre again or recommending it to anyone.

The guys did a great job with the service, outlining all that needed to be done giving me a timeline. Thanks to all staff.i will be back!

Absolutely appalling. Called RAC on they were too busy to have a look at it and would have to wait until after Christmas. Eventually got car back on 17 January. That doesn't even come close to being service. That's massive disservice. Used to be that RAC was associated with a place where you could reply on to get good honest service, not the case anymore. Wouldn't even pick up the phone to answer queries. Avoid them at all costs.

The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. I was impressed. They even changed my brake lights for free

So impressed. Took my Nissan Micra in for her second service but first service at RAC. So grateful to them for explaining everything to me and not pressuring me, but advising me as to what would be best for my car. I only spoke to the lady at the front desk but she is an awesome representation of RAC Myaree and the thorough work they do. I feel so much safer on the road. I highly recommend sending your car to RAC.

My 2003 Mercedes Benz C 180 Kompressor was towed to RAC auto services and repair in Myaree on 12/10/2020 after broken down due to a snapped serpentine belt.
I spoke to customer services rep.on 13/10/2020 after diagnosing the car and informed they're going to order parts from over east and the repair will cost about $930, I asked him how long will it take, they said worst case scenario a week, so I should get my car back on 21/10/2020. That didn't happen, instead the parts arrived o 23/10/2020, I never received a call to update me on the progress, I had to call every time to ask on progress. Friday afternoon at 4: 00pm I had to go to collect my car and I was told the car won't start and have to leave it over the weekend. Came Monday 26/10/2020 again with no update from RAC on the progress I called and was told I need to pay for new battery because my battery failed (they also mentioned it's nothing to do with leaving the car for almost 2 weeks without putting the battery on charge), I agreed to replace the battery (another $229), again never heard from them, went back at 4: 00pm to collect the car and was told the car is running but very rough and with heaps of error codes and misfire and they need to have it over night to check it the next day.
I wouldn't expect that level of poor service from RAC, my experience is I was overcharged (paid bill of $1,115), mislead, ignored and walked away with a broken car that I'll have to pay extra to repair, so basically I feel I've been ripped off by RAC.

Last week, my husband went to get a fuel pump on his old beat up Toyota HiLux replaced thinking that he needed one. When he was called to pick up his truck, they said he didn't need a new one and it's just that there was a loose connection. What was originally priced at $700plus for a new fuel pump, turned out to be a $70plus cost to reconnect the loose connection. This says a lot about the honesty and integrity of this Auto Shop. They will always have my business. If this is important to you, please give them a go.

Just picked up our Car from RAC Myaree
Had a major radiator leak and blew coolant all over the engine bay
Had the radiator replaced
When we picked the car up coolant was spilt around filler
Engine bay had not been washed so all the old coolant dried over the engine bay
Drivers door covered in grease as was the door sill from whoever was servicing the car
Had to ask to get both cleaned. WHY
Front desk couldn't care less.no customer service
Team leader who cleaned the car was ok
Don't the front desk realise that they have a job because of the customers
Shocking presentation of a car after service and even worse service and attitude from front desk
Will not go back and do not suggest you take your car there.

Our car broke down. We're RAC members. We were told by the RAC guy that if we would want a free towing service to have it towed to an RAC workshop. This btw wasn't true. He recommended this one as the closest. There we were given a diagnosis of a broken fuel pump Plus later also a broken fuel module. The quote increased from initially $840 max to $1500. We felt a bit suspicious and read the reviews, finding out that many people had been overcharged. We had it towed to our trusted mechanic who fixed it for half the price. To top it all off they also broke the fuel pump canister when taking the pump out and didn't tell us. The only good thing was that this was part of the 30 minute free diagnosis and they didn't attempt to charge us extra when we had it towed (at our expense) to our mechanic. Therefore 2 stars instead of one.

Quoted too high without checking car & advised $4000 for engine replacement. Later had to tow my car back to home and pay from my pocket. I asked local mechanic to have a look and he fixed by replacing control valve $68. AVOID this center at all cost.

Absolutely terrible service! My 80 yr old father took his car there with an engine miss. Diagnosed a DISA valve and air inlet pipe $1200 later they told him it was fixed, which was an outright lie. When it faulted again the next day they were too busy to see him! For an entire week! WTF? In the end took it to another mechanic who diagnosed a coil pack fault and replaced immediately. Appalled at their complete lack of empathy and the fact that they misdiagnosed the fault and ripped $1200 from an elderly pensioner.just dont go there

Good service; always do as advertised, and you never feel pressured into anything you don't understand. Would recommend

Did a good job towing the vehicle. Unfortunately, very disappointed with the advice/quote - got told it needed an engine replacement, but actually only needed a nut replaced on the crank shaft. Take your car elsewhere if you can!
