Perth Zoo reviews
82We loved it! But the Tigers could be more clearly sign posted. Got to the beginning and had to go back as a 5 year old was about to have a meltdown because we missed them
Very very disappointed! 2 stuffed animals covered in cob webs in old area wasn't appealing. Most animals couldnt be seen and it was over priced to see nothing! I wouldnt go again. Its a shame, when i took my kids 10yrs ago it was heaps better.
Always a great experience. Allow extra time to get through the gates during school holidays, parking is hell.needs more
Man, as much as I loved my Aussie tour years ago, I loved the zoo, the staff were very friendly, you can interact with some animals, you can feed the animals and you could also take animal behind the scenes tours too, this zoo is worth the visit.
Such a great day out with the kids. Lots of shade and play areas for the little ones. Great exhibits and friendly staff. We'll be back soon
Perth Zoo was a lovely experience - quite small but a delight to walk through. Easy to spot the animals and get some terrific photos. Beautifully kept gardens are a joy as well. Highly recommended.
It's always a great family day out at the zoo. Right now they have the Zoorassic Park exhibit with animatronic dinosaurs at various locations around the zoo. The park is well maintained but there are some areas which are closed for enclosure upgrades. Food is pricey so if you plan to visit the zoo 3 or 4 times a year I would recommend the membership so you can get 10% off food and in the giftshop.
Beautiful grounds but could do with a little better upkeep. Also enclosures could be improved a little. For the price you pay compared to other better zoo's around Australia I personally won't be back for another 10yrs, if that. Pretty sad my family got around it in 4hrs including lunch.
Loved the new dinosaurs around the zoo. Very fun for the kids. They also get a sheet and there are stamps next to each dinosaur, and stamp off which dinosaurs they found.
Highly recommended. Great day out to be had here. Also supports the endangered species breeding program so future generations can see the glory of mature.
Went to Perth Zoo for a wedding reception which was planned really well. Spacious venue with a nice dance floor. Toilets were really clean. Staff were really friendly and quick to answer any requests. Also got to go on Merry go round and brought out some native wild life to show.
Beautiful zoo. Had dinosaur theme with fun stamping activity for kids to do. Playleo zone was a great hit. Great lawn area and playground.
Awful place. Forced to pay full price even though I’m a current student cus I don’t have the latest guild sticker on my card. Unfriendly staff who are unapproachable and rude. Only came because my sister rescued the stolen meerkat and get treated with disrespect. Will never be back.
For a small zoo it is so well organised and has lots of great animal areas. Loved walking around here and can see everything in less than a day. Such a great zoo!
Loved the dinosaur exhibition. Lots of shade, drinking water stations, bins and toilets. Free BBQ is a great idea ill need to remember for next time.
Perth zoo has been going for years now and its still going strong. I love animals especially cats! (Meow).
If you want to brings the kids somewhere bring them here its perfect for the little ones!
The Savannah (save for Painted Dogs and 1 White Rhino) and the nocturnal house was closed, which is my fave. Not sure if it was something to do with halloween or not but quite disappointed with that as it's pretty much HALF of the Zoo! And it sucks paying entry and half the Zoo being closed!
Cheapest Zoo that has a lot to offer. Best coffee ever from a little stand that's only there in the mornings just after you walk through the main gate. Great selection of animals and well layed out. Highly recommended taking the kids for the day.
Rent the wagon ($13) for the kid and had a great fun. The price is quite steep compared to a much more larger and complete zoo such as Singapore zoo (S$33). The animal are well cared for and the facilities are clean.
