Parmelia Hilton Perth reviews
65Absolutely amazing experience. I write this as I eat the absolute best pancakes I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. I wasn’t expecting much for my stay, but I must say that the food and costumer service is the best in Perth (out of all the hotels I’ve visited, which is a lot). I’m absolutely blow away. Amazing location too, near bus stops, train stations, shops and a variety of restaurants. I’m definitely coming back! (This was also the place where my parents had their wedding reception 25 years back, funny enough).
Corporate event. All ran very smooth. Thanks to Luz for arranging. All that attended we very happy with rooms, and breakfast was great
The Parmelia Hilton Hotel is a good solid hotel, great location, valet parking for security. Clear Covid 19 hygiene controls in place add extra confidence.
Great hotel, clean has all you need. Shame my check in/out experience was hindered from lots of errors couldnt get invoices or honors registered properly and was told to go and call them to solve.
But room was clean and gym/pool were great
Excellent since the upgrade and investment.
Rooms massively improved. Some original decor ala the bathroom but the rest of the room has gotten better.
Executive Area - Finally! Food is ok and wine is fairly bargain basement quality but considering the room price. It’s good
Reception friendly and approachable
Concierge are good.
Diamond finally some recognition and upgrade!
Massive step up compared to what was before. I have not tried the restaurant but A for effort. With staying here
Quieter than northbridge and in the middle of the city.
Staff very friendly and helpful, room comfortable, hotel in good location. Executive lounge food options limited and sparse, gave up and went to the bar!
The rooms are nice and big, they are clean and tidy. The walls however aren’t very thick and I could hear other guests in the hallway and I could hear the room next doors kids crying and banging the walls. On the first day at breakfast we were allowed to eat anything from the buffet, but on the second day we were told that we could only have continental breakfast (you can’t have any hot food unless you pay $10 each) which is extremely weird because we have stayed at 8 Hiltons and this has never happened before, and we are also hhonors gold. The pool is extremely small and is only 1/3 bigger than ours at home. The tvs don’t even have channels and the only things you can watch are the news and movies (if you are willing to pay $34). The coffee machine only worked once during our five day stay.
Freundliches Personal.
Great meal at restaurant fantastic breakfast friendly staff clean good comfortable bed close to everything! Highly recommended!
Parmelia Hilton Perth is located right at the heart of the city centre and within the free bus travel zone. It is about a half hour drive from the airport and cost about $50. The hotel is a little dated but makes up for it in location and service which is impeccable. Ground floor has the lobby, bar and restaurant as well as a business centre with computers and a meeting room. The first floor events and meetings area and the second floor hosts the outdoor pool and sun deck and a nice size gym with plenty of machines and equipment. Whilst the rooms could do with an update they are large, well planned and has plenty of space and storage. There also plenty of power points in the room and by the bed. The bathrooms are also reasonable big with both tubs and showers. As there is no executive lounge, elite members get a drink and some tapas in the restaurant which is a nice offering. Overall a good hotel and well located for exploring Perth.
Service was amazing, especially housekeeping and concierge. Bed was really comfortable and pillow menu was very welcome. Would definitely stay here next time in Perth. Buffet breakfast was great (only improvement I would suggest is pancakes on buffet).
Great desk staff. Facility is quite dated, but seems to be a theme for accommodation across Australia.
Although the hotel itself is getting on in years, the staff, right across the board go above and beyond to make your stay with them as comfortable and personable as possible.
Parmelia Hilton Hotel is conveniently located in Perth. Close to the centre of the CBD, shops and restaurants. The Convention Centre and Elizabeth Quay are nearby. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The restaurant and bar are very good. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful.
The Parmelia Hilton is limited by its location and the building. The driveway off Mill St very cramped and the most unimpressive lobby of any hilton I’ve seen comprising 3 armchairs. There is a huge inlay timber mirror that appears to be a relic of a byegone age but no apparent explanation as to why it resides in the lobby next to a Chinese tapestry. Remodelling underway, which might explain the reasonable tariff.
Went here for a professional event, venue was nice, A/V equipment was great and the food and service was good. The decor in the ballroom is a bit aged, and those ice chandeliers are awful! Otherwise, definitely recommend having an event here.
Attended an industry seminar held in the Fremantle room. The facilities were clean and the service friendly.
King room shower was not good. Breakfast was great, lunch dinner stick to burgers. Rest isn't seasoned properly.
Good morning checking in staff were helpful and friendly.
The morning checking out staff could not understand what I was talking about.
Make sure you check your alarm before you get to bed. Ours went of at 6.00 am. Very annoying when you could sleep in.
Cheers Donna
Great location and lovely rooms but awful and continuous thumping sound late into the night from some nightclub below or right next to the hotel.
