Off Ya Tree

First time coming in for a piercing and the whole team was amazing to deal with, super friendly and professional - took the time to check my anatomy and let me know what would and wouldn’t work rather than just piercing anyway! The piercer was very gentle/careful and clearly loves her work, such a positive experience will definitely be back in the future. Thank you to the team! ̈

Staff were friendly and helpful. Matt the piercer was very professional and quick with the process. Would definitely recommend getting facial piercings there. Prices were really good too

I attended the store as I needed some advice on my piercings. I was worried about my five year old piercings migrating. My piercings were initially done at this store too. Piercer was very helpful and will take on his advice. Have to get rid of my piercings for a little while!

Kayla did 3 of my piercings on the 13/09 and she was so incredibly lovely. I was super anxious but she was so welcoming and kind. When I went in she served me at the register and got everything ready for me, and then when I came back for my appointment 20min later feeling more at ease after chatting with her. She made sure I was happy and comfortable, and was very careful and gentle when doing the piercings. I would totally recommend and can't wait to go back for more!

I went back today to get my seconds done and i’ve now been pierced twice by Darrian. She is efficient and smooth and lovely.
The first time I was pierced by her someone else was behind the counter maybe the manager and had a stank face the whole time. Glad to see that negative energy not there during my visit today.

Honestly awesome place, but every single time i've walked in there with my mates we've just had bad experiences with staff.snarky comments, laughed at ect.all my mates have had very similar experiences, almost too scared to walk in there because of it

Went in today to try and get my septum pierced I got there at 10am and waited till 11am and no one showed up I am incredibly upset about this because I was excited to get this pierced and no one put anything on the door social media's or anything advertising that they are closed today.

I came here to get a really stuck septum piercing out, there were two staff there on 20/5/23, i forgot their names but they were the sweetest and created such a safe space! I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you guys so much!

When they’re good they’re good, when they’re bad… yikes.
Some of the staff are lovely but unfortunately I’ve had way more experiences here with rude staff who clearly do not want to be there and want to make it everyone’s problem.
Overall: not worth your time, go to skin kandy or piercing place if you like being respected

Went in today to get my very first piercing and I am thoroughly satisfied with my experience.
Having read several of the other reviews I would like to note that the communication style of the staff in store is very informal, more like talking to your mates. I like this style of communication, but I feel others are taking it in the wrong way as being rude.

I went in with less research than I should have done. I was shown some images containing different types of piercings and recommended what I should get first.

I had to wait a while as there were other people ahead of me, but I felt quite welcome in the store while I waited.

The actual piercing process I was most impressed with. The piercer marked the spot the piercing would go on my ear and got me to make sure I was happy with it in the mirror. Once he was sure I was happy the process of being pierced and the jewellery put in took what I would say was less than a minute and I experienced the same amount of pain as during a blood test. Quick and as painless as I imagine it could be. Super happy!

Despite being very obviously busy and under the pump the staff took their time to explain what types of cartilage piercings I could/couldn't have with my ear shape. The guy who gave me my 3 piercings was efficient and friendly- put me at ease and the procedure was quick and not very painful!
I wish I got the guys name but thank you I love my new piercings!

I have previously been to Off Ya Tree for a nose piercing which didn't go as desired, so I let it heal and revisited today. I told the piercer my previous experience and he explained why my infection happened and how he would do it differently. I got my nose and my third lobe piercings done. 10/10 experience with the piercer, he was super calm, kept telling me i was "doing so good", very professional and mix matched some jewellery optimal for my piercings. 10/10 all round.

Don’t Recommend…

The customer service was good but our piercings (pubic & horizontal hood) not so much. His was completely off centre and so crooked. It also looked like the wrong size bar was put in. Hers was supposed to have been a horizontal hood but looks like it’s between a vertical and a horizontal. I don’t understand how you could get it so wrong! So disappointed and do not recommend Off Ya Tree Perth City at all. Not worth the money we paid.

Update. 29/11/22 The owner contacted me and asked (not long after review) for dates, photos and description, which I provided. I haven’t heard back from Off Ya Tree since. I did send 2 follow up emails but still got no response. Poor form Off Ya Tree! Your customer service just took a nose dive and is as bad as the piercings we received. I would’ve been happy with a ‘sorry that you’re not happy’ reply but to get nothing? Not cool.

Went into ge to get some piercings changed and it was very nice shop and the staff were friendly

Took my girlfriend here to have her nipples pierced. She wasnt impressed with the pain but now she loves the piercings. Great shop, full of a bit of everything, clothes, jewellery, everything. Friendly knowledgeable staff and also great deals from time to time.

Off ya tree was absolutely amazing, my daughter had her ears pierced some where else and they had become infected because of the earring used and at Off ya tree they helped to repair the problem and were fantastic they explained the earrings that she needed and cleaned it up whilst keeping her very comfortable. Awesome service, communication can’t rate this place high enough and would definitely go back for future piercings. Thanks again legends

I’m so confused why there are so many bad reviews? My experience was honestly the best.i came in while they were busy, but the receptionist went the extra mile to pierce my septum knowing i had traveled far to get there.it was a rush but they kindly squeezed me in.the piercer, Austyn (i hope that’s how you spell their name) was very efficient.they put up with my nervous self and assured me that it really isn’t that painful.and after all the nervous squeals, they didn’t invalidate my fearfulness.the pain was a 3/10, and over so quick.it’s been pierced perfectly, and the staff were just so warm and welcome.i’ll definitely come back:)

update! I came back to get my brow pierced.kyle did a great job and i felt totally comfortable with him.best place:)

I have been to off ya tree many times they did all of my piercings I have never had a problem with any of the piercers or staff the vibe is amazing and everyone is so helpful and piercers understand if you are a little bit worried to get the piercing amazing place can not recommend it enough

I had a wonderful experience getting my lobes re-pierced. All staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The girl who performed the service did a fantastic job.
