From Willemina:
Adrian and Brigitta were amazing vets. All of the staff were very compassionate in treating Bella. I thank them for everything they've done for me.

Absolutely appalled by the level of practice they had used on my dog. He went there for his nails to be clipped, unfortunately he does not like anything sharp around his nails and has to be put under. When we came into pick him up he was whimpering and bleeding and bleeding all over the floor. Before I could get my phone out to take a picture they had cleaned up the blood and started to film me because I was upset. They also threatened to call the cops if I did not leave so I had no choice but to leave while my partner dealt with it. I would not recommend going there, they are rude inhumane and downright stupid.

Stay far away from this place and “Dr” Adrian. Someone needs to take away his veterinary license.

Thankfully I don't have to go to the vet very often but when I do I always go to Ocean Keys Veterinary Hospital. This week I waited no longer than 5 mins for the initial consultation. My chihuahua required some dental attention and my consultation fee was waivered. I was told that if I chose to come back and have the dental work done the fee would be included in the price. I was very surprised at how affordable the procedure was which enabled me to book in the same week. When I picked my dog up, I waited no longer than 10mins in reception. The whole staff were very professional and welcoming.

The staff are always friendly and helpful - Adrian the vet is highly knowledgeable and caring for your pet giving the best treatment and advice. I am happy with the service in general.

I highly recommend Adrian & his team, we have been taking our dogs to him since they were young.

Adrian will explain everything to you, & if you want to know more just ask.
Simply put, we trust Adrian implicitly with our dogs - all vet bills are expensive, not matter what vet you see - but Adrian is fair, the invoices are itemised in detail & he has always been generous and discounted us when we have had major treatment done and also not charged for a few things.

All the vets give you the various treatments available and I have never had any of them try and force a more expensive treatment on my dog (just read a few other reviews suggesting that this happens) They have always suggested trying the least expensive treatment first to see if that worked and then go from there.

There may be wait times but people have to realise that unexpected things come up, there may be an emergency that has occurred, sometimes a standard appointment may go over time, you get the same in Drs Surgeries.

Most of the ladies at reception bar a few seem to be new and I must admit things seem a lot calmer & more efficient, they are all just lovely.

Needs to be a bit more thorough when checking people's pets. He made a huge mistake with my Lizzie. He said arthritis when he should have said she broke the main bone in her back leg. I didn't find out about the break until 2 year's later.
Be more thorough Adrian

Often have to wait for the allocated appointment, however the level of service is excellent and has remained excellent in the 14yrs we've been taking our two dogs there - for both checkups and serious operations.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
Adrian gave my 3 year old blue staffy Dectomax which is a drug only meant for Cattle and Swine and it should not be used in Dogs as it can cause severe adverse reactions, including fatalities in dogs, and with that dectomax we were meant to sign a form to consent to the injection which he did not even mention.
He was also very reluctant to give us a recommendation to go see a specialist about my dogs allergies so he could just use trial and error to make more money.
He also always injects him with vaccines to help with allergies but whenever he gives them they seem to make things worse.

Best Vet in Perth. We will happily drive over an hour to see Adrian, his knowledge and skills far surpass any other Vet we have seen. The staff are always friendly and genuinely care about the animals, nothing is ever too much trouble and they will always do their best to accommodate, even last minute. We will continue to travel to see you and continue to recommend you to everyone we know. Thank you for everything you have done to help us Adrian and the team.

Would not reccomend. Went there to get medication for my dog.referred to by another vet as this was the only place to find the medication. Without even meeting my dog, Adrian asked why i needed the meds. Upon my answer i was advised by him to just amputate my dogs paws as it would be cheaper and easier.i was horrified. The reception staff were rude and nasty. Will never set foot in that place again. No matter how desperate i was.

Dr Brigette saved my elderly cat from deaths door. Though I was stressed about my cat it was a wonderful experience and the bill was lower than what I thought it would have been.

Adrian and Anne are the most caring and professional vets I’ve ever met. They’ve helped our pets on many many occasions, and I have absolute confidence that I’m not getting ripped off financially. Never pressured to get expensive tests or procedures just for a dollar. Sympathetic, understanding, compassionate and always willing to help their customers. Only vet I will ever see.

We just moved to the area from overseas and had visited a couple vets with not very good experiences. Luckily this vet hospital was recommend to us after adopting a kitten from SAFE and what a difference! This the most compassionate and professional vet we’ve been to in Australia or the US. Fantastic with owners and puts pets health and well-being first.

Best veterinary practice and vets I have ever dealt with. The follow up, concern, care, check in over the phone for your pet, I have not encountered before. Being new to this area and trying a large chain practice, nearby, I wish I had tried Ocean Keys first. So glad I followed my instincts and have recently. Thanks Dr Ann & Dr Adrian. Dr Ann following up & talking to us, in her own time this evening. Not the first time either. Dr Adrian has previously also. Amazing guys. Thank you.

My experience at this vet practice was AWFUL. My kitten had to have revision surgery after having his eye removed as it wasn't done properly the first time.
The staff are rude and the lack of communication and professionalism is a concern.
I was told I would receive a call before the vet operated. I never did so I called only to find out they had already operated without speaking to me first.
The state I received my kitten in was horrendous. The site was a mess. The fur was not clipped and there was dried up blood everywhere. I was shocked. As a nurse I have a good idea of how an incision site should look and that was far from what I would have expected. I feel the surgery was rushed.
He was so distressed upon pick up and so hungry and thirsty when we got home. I feel he was neglected the two nights he was there.
We drove 40 minutes to pick him up the day of his surgery. The vet came out told us it all went well. He then went to get him for us, came back out and said that he was bleeding and that he wanted to keep him another night. So basically he hadn't been checked up on until then.
We had to drive all the way back the next day to pick him up and the vet nurses had attempted to clean him up but the blood was so dry and stuck.
I refused to go back to have his stitches removed so I saw my own vet for that who even agreed that it was appalling and questioned the vets competence.
Now the sutures are removed and he has a hole and a slight infection which is now being treated with betadine ointment.
The whole experience has been a nightmare and I have been so stressed.
Just be aware that this could be your experience too. I wouldn't want this for anyone's fur baby.
Lack of communication. Rude staff.
Very disappointed and horrified at the poor care of my baby.
