McDonald's Thomsons Lake reviews
64Very poor service. There is no print out of order number and they get confused what I order. Wait for my drink for 20 minutes and still asking what did I order.management will need to look into this especially during peak hours! This is not the first time it happen, it is 3 consecutive weeks.
Place is a shocker. You think each time you go back after a few months it would improve.went in tonight not only was the place filthy, placed an order, watched as my good sat on counter for 10 minutes until they got drinks. Staff no idea what they were doing.asked them for fresh food as it had been sitting. Watched as they done the exact same thing again and left it sitting for ten minutes.when we said to them the girls stood smirking and laughing. Manager was told, they went a 4th time to fix my order, told them to refund me.they then tried to blame the power outage, no I placed my order 40 minutes ago when there was power. Too many people trying to give orders at the same time and unable to follow simple instructions sort it out.
Always great service rarely ever get our orders wrong have seen the manager himself packing bags and ensuring everything is quick and timely. Always friendly kids working there. Have been going for years and will continue to. Have converted people to use this maccas for their service. Keep it up!
Poor service!
Went to get frappe coffee and 2 thick shakes, took 25 minutes of waiting for all the stuff to be ready, while watching the staff members messing around and giving their friends free food!
"Table service" is a joke. Unfortunately this is one of the only places this is open at 0530 for a coffee catch up. Very disappointing
Good restaurant. No children's party rooms. Usually o.k for parking. The cafe is good. The playground is a bit cagey. They have a table that lights up when kids touch it so they can make patterns and stuff.
Just ordered food off menulog. Fries arrived cold, sundae was melted and the donut balls were cold and hard as a rock. I was unable to eat any if it. Very disappointed
Hopeless that this restaurant can’t maintain the frozen drinks machines. Have ordered frozen cokes three times recently to be told they are not available. Tried to order a coffee shake today, told sorry that’s broken. Cancelled the order instead.
We now choose to go to HJ’s instead, we get much better customer service with better value products.
If i could rate them Zero star Im more than happy to do so. They gave me a meal from some Uber order already made 20 mins before my order had been placed with them. The meal was cold and not exactly what I ordered. So many time mistake happened from this brand but today is so bad and rude behaviour from staff. Never come back here again.
Long waits and still get about 30% of my orders with something wrong. Shame as it's in a marvelous location for me
Ordered a sausage McMuffin, got a sausage and egg. Even though my order slip said sausage only. Careless staff.
Terrible design with the order screens only steps into the restaurant causing huge congestion at the front door - no opportunity to socially distance at all.
Otherwise, it was ok.
What more can you want fast takeaway food at your service at this maccas. Recommend staying on the left lane when driving thru, you’re see if you drive in the right lane will show how good of a driver you are. Easy location to find that quick snack
I just went here for the first time today. When you first enter, you can see visible damage on the glass door. It was shattered, but the glass wasn't broken. The entry is also small and there is lots of people crowding around it. The wait time was longer than average. I went there at around 2: 40pm and there were a lot of people in there. The majority of the tables hadn't been cleared and that is visible from the outside of the restaurant. This place is also really small as well and there are no spots to sit and wait. I would opt for the drive-thru then try and order at the front counter. Overall, this McDonald's is okay.
Waited 30 minutes for a basic meal. Then ordered iced chocolate which had a wait a further 10 minutes after the meal, from there they put it in the wrong size and just put it in a new cup and just added chocolate. First time here and never again!
I think the time has come for me to not go here any more. I've been frequenting the drive through for almost a year now, fairly regularly. It's not the food. It's the customer service. Only 1 time in the past year have I received a friendly server. So friendly that I commented how lovely it was. Tonight was the last straw. I drove up to the drivethrough, waited about 10 seconds then an unfriendly male commanded me to simply "place your order". No "hello", "hi", "please". Nothing. I placed my order and got, "drive through". Got to the payment window. No greeting. Just a hand holding a payment machine. I waited a moment and the girl interrupted her conversation with another employee with, "drive through". Again, "no hello", "thank you", "bye". Nothing. The young lady at the order collection window was the only one who gave a strained smile and a thank you. Sadly, this has been my repeated experience at this McDonalds. I'm kind of done at this point. When did the drive through become a place where employees can treat customers so indifferently to rudely? When I worked in these jobs as a young teen, if you didn't smile and weren't friendly, you didn't get the job.
Very noisy with unchecked little kids, one, a 4 or 5 year old, in particular. The accompanying grandfather was too busy on his phone to even notice his grandson's yelling was upsetting other patrons.
Terrible service but what would you expect when going to maccas very little but the ability to actually order food would help. The screen froze on the auto order station no help provided and absolutely no care given would give 0 if possible.
I thought I would take advantage of the "buy a coffee get a free snack". The QR code wouldn't scan so I approached the counter but the girl couldn't understand what I wanted then the shift manager came over. No good morning, hello or even a smile (normally free) and she asked in her monotone voice what I wanted to which I repeated a free snack with a coffee purchase. I asked for a flat white and she said "anything else? " and I said well yes I'd like the raisin toast. You would think I was robbing the place! Anyway for my order then found that I didn't get the star in my Macca's app for the coffee purchase! I have up and left.
What I ordered was not what I got. I ended up paying more than what I'm suppose to and the guy kept on telling me to drive forward even though I was still ordering. This is why we never go to maccas anymore and again they have showed me the worse service ever
