Margaret River Holiday Cottages

Took my four sons, their wives/partners and 5 grandchildren here in lieu of a Eastern States trip. It was so much fun for everyone. Kids had plenty of space and things to do. Accommodation was more than adequate and Lisa could not have been nicer, making our holiday a very memorable one!

We spent 3 days and 2 nights at MR Holiday Cottages for July school holiday. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Andrew. The way they run the place is just very relax, it's just like you're staying at a friend's house. The accommodation is very neat and tidy and complete with everything that we need. The highlight for us were the heated pool, the fire pit and of course the farm animals. My kids are so looking forward to feeding the animals in the morning and in the afternoon, we had to be back at the farm before 5pm to make sure that they don't miss it.:) We also enjoyed the bush walk, just right for the little kids. Marshmallow roasting is on our top list too. Can't recommend MR Holiday Cottages enough, they deserve more than 5 star. We will definitely go back!

A great spot for families. We thoroughly enjoyed the ‘farm style’ stay with our son who loved feeding and patting the animals. Andrew & Jules really go above and beyond to ensure you have a great time. We will be back to this unique accommodation!

Andrew and his family at Margaret River Holiday Cottages were fantastic and delivered a truly unique experience for our family and friends. They were extremely accommodating with our schedule and booking our cottages next to our friends so that we could enjoy the kids playground and firepit on our doorstep. Even before arriving he made sure we were prepared for our stay.
The cottages were clean, tidy and fully equipped with everything needed.
Our kids loved the animal feedings and safari rides daily! We came with a few families and all our kids playing together at the playground, going for hikes in the national park, feeding animals, swimming in the pool and toasting marshmallows were truly a memorable experience. We could easily have spent a full week here!

We had another wonderful stay at MR holiday cottages. Our little daughter loves the interaction with the animals during feeding time. The bonfire in the evening is also a great time to meet and talk to the other families staying in the other cottages.

Absolutely AMAZING concept for young families wanting to immerse in nature and animal experiences. The owners Andres and Jules are so caring with every detail and you really feel their hospitality comes from the heart! Met some other lovely couples there round the camp fire and will definitely be back!

We are extremely happy we found MRHC and now can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Margs. Lovely location very close to the town centre, adjoining trails, gorgeous animals, and fantastic owners & staff. The two-bed brick cottages overlook the playground and fire pit and are great for young children. The cottages are very homely and contain everything you need. We have already booked a return trip!

Where can I start? ! This place was amazing from the moment we stepped foot on the property. The 4bed cottage was so comfortable and warm, and my 3yo son absolutely loved the animals and the bush track! Couldn’t fault this place if I tried, the owners were so welcoming and hospitable! You will not regret booking here, I can assure you will feel recharged after a stay here!

Andrew the Host was fantastic, friendly and very accommodating. Clean, well equipped and environmentally friendly cottages and surrounds.

I planned a 40th getaway with 5 other families. From the very start Andrew was super excited for us and such a tremendous help, from organizing the rooms for all the people in my group to suggestions on what’s on offer to Margaret river. It didn’t stop there he kept up contact in the months leading up to our stay and also during our stay.
The gumnut cottage we stayed in was incredibly homey with its own fire place and ‘wood fairies’ with 4 spacious rooms, large kitchen, dining, outdoor area with bbq, this was a massive tipping point as we hosted all the families at dinner time. The cottage was supplied with everything we needed and even the personal touches like of a jar of marshmallows for roasting.
The grounds were the biggest delight for the kids and adults alike. The animals were the biggest hit with our kids regular feeding times where Andrew became my super hero helping and teaching the kids how to feed, how to treat the animals and teaching them how handle them and then he’s treat the kids every morning to a spin on the quad bike, giving the parents time to have a coffee in peace. The heated pool was also a big hit as was the pool table and table tennis. But the biggest highlight had to be that fire pit the kids absolutely loved roasting their marshmallows and the adults being able to kick back with a glass of wine and watch the fire crackle.

In closing I had the best time with my family and friends I thank Andrew and his family for making everything effortless. I do plan to revisit with family in the future

Last minute booking and Andrew was really helpful and accommodating. Adults and kids, we all had an amazing time on the farm, the animals were for sure the highlight of our stay there. Love Henry, Luna, David, the hen that my boy wanted to take home. And the cute little goat that my hubby wanted to have. Good on you Andrew for giving these little orphans a loving home to grow up in?
The cottage was clean, modern and had a beautiful smell.
The bonfire was great fun too, nice way to socialise with other residents. The pool is heated as said. Kids enjoyed their ride with Andrew and other kids. Great couple, awesome customer service.
The place to be if you need to be in touch with nature and if you are animal lovers like us.

We loved every minute of our stay here. Jules and Andrew were amazingly warm, friendly hosts who made us all feel like we were staying with friends. The farm and forest surroundings are beautiful. The animals are just gorgeous. The cottage was lovely with quality facilities and everything we needed. Our kids' favourites were feeding and helping out with the animals, swimming in the heated pool, night time fire pit prep and roasting marshmallows and hanging out with other kids. Our favourite part was that because the kids were so busy and so happy we didn't have to do much to entertain them and we were able to relax too.

Andrew was very accomodating and went out of his way to see that the guests were taken care of. The location was very close to town which was good for a quick drive to get some food or a coffee. Rooms were clean, modern and well positioned to take advantage of the view of the property and animals. Would recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We have two older daughters and hardly seen them during the day as they where so busy with the animals and playing on the parks. It was absolute bliss! Everyone was happy. The owner Andrew is very interactive and makes everything feel like you are staying at a 5 star hotel. The hospitality was second to non! The cottage we stayed in was beautiful, modern and everything we needed and more. What an amazing place you have here! We will be back every single time we head to MR for a mini getaway.

What an amazing stay! Nothing to fault, ticks in all boxes! The animals were spectacular for the kids and adults. An amazing family run the farm and cottages just couldn’t be more happy with our stay so many good things! Thanks again ️

Absolutely perfect weekend away for us and our toddler. Accommodation is just the right size and safe. The animal feeding was our absolute highlight. Jules and Andrew were so welcoming. We would definitely like to come back!

We had an awesome stay at MRHC, my daughter absolutely loved hanging with the farm animals and the communal feel about the place made it a really lovely experience. We will be back.

Highly recommend, we spent 4 glorious nights and could not rate our stay high enough. The cottage has everything going you could need or want and was clean and tidy. The farm animals were a delight even for us big kids.

We had the best trip here with our 2 year old. She absolutely loved it. The cottages are clean, well maintained and the property is perfect for kids to run around in a safe environment. We have already booked our next trip. Andrew the host is so welcoming and made us feel right at home.
