Andrew was very accommodating with our request. The place was really nice and the kids enjoyed the stay very much! Definitely going back!

Greated by pony's as you enter over a grid calf goat relaxing with a few sheep plenty of out door an in door activities to entertain the kids safely will you relax out of town but only just friendly staff

Great stay, friendly hosts, BBQ at the designated BBQ pits was awesome, kids had tons of fun with the animals, heated swimming pool was good fun in winter, air hockey, pool table, all you need for an unforgettable farmstay in the Margaret River area. Had an issue with heated water but Andrew responded instantly on WhatsApp and resolve straight away. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing little spot to stay! I cannot recommend enough and we will go back! Andrew, Jules, Lisa & all three kids were so welcoming and happy to chat, animals were free roaming and we could take kids to cuddle them anytime of the day, and it was the only place in Margaret River that I could find with an indoor pool so kids can be amused regardless of the weather! We miss little Boya (the cuddliest calf in all the world), little Charlie (hope he is getting big and strong!) and all the other animals too. It was such a community vibe, met lots of lovely people and felt safe for the kids to be at the playground where we could easily see them from inside the cabin.busy playing with all the other kids and entertaining themselves (hurrah!)! Absolutely awesome and you could not have set up a more enjoyable stay. Thanks Andrew & Jules!

We love our first stayed in Margaret River Hoilday Cottage. Andrew and Lisa are very friendly and nice. We love spent time in the swimming pool and pool game. The animals are lovely and friendly, our little one very love to fed them and cuddle them. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend.

Wonderful place to stay! Very hospitable hosts. Animals to feed. Heated pool for year round.swiming. Lovely clean cottages with cute veranda's to soak up the farm view. Possums to spot at night. Bush walks nearby by. Everything you need 3km from the centre of town. Highly recommended.

Amazing place to visit for all ages. Great to see the free roaming animals and being able to interact with them and feed them each morning. The cottages are set up, great with all amenities you could want. Drew, Jules and Lisa are very accomodating. Heated pool movie nights. Fire pit and walk trails are fantastic. Highly recommend this place. Prime location to the town and other tourist things.

We have stayed at many places in Margaret River, but this was by far the best! It offers the best of both worlds - being conveniently close to town while still offering the peace of being out in nature. The cottages are very well equipped and are presented beautifully. It made the perfect home away from home. The animals are all very friendly and love being fed and petted by children. This was a highlight for my children, as was the generously-sized heated swimming pool. The playground, games room and bush trail also kept us all entertained. This place really has everything you need for an enjoyable, relaxing holiday. There really is no need to leave, but it's perfect location makes exploring nearby attractions super easy! We missed meeting the owners this trip, but we look forward to meeting them next time. Thank you so much for our stay. We loved every bit of it!

We loved our time here. Comfortable accommodation with tranquil settings. If you love animal interaction this is the place. I personally fell in love with Kevin the cow. He is so loving. Andrew was so welcoming. Set close to all the delights that Margaret river has to offer.

What an incredible experience we had. So friendly and accommodating. Deffinatly coming back and would highly recommend this place to stay especially if you have young kids. We booked this place thinking we would go out to breweries and eat out, well when we got here we didn't leave to go anywhere! It is an amazing peaceful place to stay.

Andrew and the family at Margaret River Holiday Cottages made us very welcome. The brick cottage we stayed in was fantastic with comfortable beds and modern amenities. Our toddler loved the experience of being able to visit the animals any time of the day, and especially loved the 8am feeding time and tractor ride.
Perfect for a family getaway with kids.
Will be back again for sure!

A hidden gem in Margaret River in a beautiful setting, child friendly and the perfect family break to unwind from day to day stress. Andrew & Jules were the perfect host and have created an amazing community environment for guest.

Thank you to Andrew and Jules for a fabulous long weekend stay. You have created the perfect little holiday spot where our children were entertained with animal feeding (especially hungry Mr Kevin the Cow, our daughter still talks about him!), bushwalking, playing on the playground and swimming in the heated pool all weekend. The brick cottages have such a warm and cozy feeling and had everything that we could have needed in them. I think we will definitely have to make it a yearly thing as we all had so much fun and even the adults got to relax and enjoy the nightly fire pit:) I would also highly recommend Jules' family photoshoot through her photography business, Jules is so talented and made us feel comfortable and the photos have come out so natural and will be a beautiful keepsake of our holiday.

Drew makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. He builds a strong rapport immediately and has you laughing straight away. We loved our time in Margaret River and in the cottages. Our daughter enjoyed the daily farm animal feeds - especially the alpacas, baby goats and chickens. Drew clearly loves his job and he is an excellent host. He's created a relaxing environment and there is so much to do. The heated pool is a real bonus, as is the play equipment, slide and huge cubby house. The accommodation has everything you need and you're only a few minutes from the town centre. If you're on the fence about booking, just do it. You will not be disappointed.

We LOVED our time at Margaret River holiday Cottages. Andrew and Jules could not have been more welcoming. Perfectly located close to town, but quiet and peaceful. The cottage was so well thought out, the pool and fire pit amazing, and I think we all fell in love with Dorothy the goat and all of her friends. Our girls (7&10) can’t wait to go back again- thanks for such a wonderful time!

We stayed here Friday to Monday and had a really lovely time with our three children, ages 13,11 and 8.
Location was great, very close to MR town whilst still feeling removed, relaxed and tranquil.
Lots of nicely thought out touches (animals, fire pit/marshmallows, kids play area, basketball hoop, table tennis, DVD's, board games) about the place which made for a very comfortable stay. Rooms were really tastefully renovated/decorated and it felt very homey.
Great location for hiking and mountain biking.
Overall it was a wonderful holiday and we would definitely consider returning, have told lots of people how much we enjoyed it.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at M/R Holiday Cottages. The property is so conveniently placed 5 minutes out of town in an idyllically peaceful setting but close to some amazing wine farms. Our 3yr old had so much fun feeding the farm animals each morning. It was the highlight of her holiday. She also enjoyed the playground and heated pool. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed to prepare our own meals and we loved sipping wine alongside our log fire in the cabin.
Our hosts, Andrew and Jules, were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated their incredible hospitality and excellent suggestions of how to get the most out of our four day break.
Not only did we come back with unforgettable memories of our first trip to Margaret River, we also arranged with Jules to do a family photo shoot on the farm and now have amazing pictures to capture the wonders of our trip.

I couldn’t recommend Margaret River holiday cottages enough for a little family get away. Our 6 and 2 year old were entertained our whole stay with animal feeding, indoor heated pool, bush walking and a beautifully maintained playground right at our front door. The brick cottage we stayed in had a lovely homely feel and was equipped with all the essentials a family would need for their stay. The farm it’s self is close enough to town which made it super easy to pop into the shops, restaurants and explore the local area. We are already thinking about booking our next stay.

This is the second time we have stayed there as a family, I could recommend them Andrew and Jules go out of their way to make you feel comfortable the chalets are clean and comfortable and provide everything you could ask for and the beds are comfortable as well oops nearly forgot feeding the animals is high on the list kids and adults love it if I could give them 10 stars I would Barbara Jones

Amazing is all we can say. Beautiful landscape with a selection of animals that kids love. We stayed here for 2 nights and according to my little Toddler this was the Old McDonald’s Farm. He absolutely enjoyed every second and the biggest challenge was leaving the place, I’m sure many saw and heard the struggle of forcing him into the car when all bribes failed. He simply didn’t want to leave and to be honest i don’t blame him. I highly recommend this place to any family with kids. The place is spotless clean and certified by my wife, most 5 star resorts fail her standards, Thanks Lisa The owners Andrew & Jules are the best host you can wish for, very friendly and inviting. You get the privacy that you need and they are always available to make your stay memorable. Thank you and we will see you soon again
