Absolutely LOVE this place. Have stayed a few times now both along the lake and up in the non powered sites. Such a tidy park and the cafe is awesome! The people that work there are so friendly. We will be camping again and again for years to come.
Dogs welcome, beautiful clear water, large trout can be caught, great well sign posted path's, close to Perth and good camp sights. Lots of wild birds.
The lad who was at reception was friendly and helpful. From there it was very disappointing. For top dollar ($110) we got a cabin with grimy mattresses, no pillows, no hot water in the cabin and tap too low to fill the kettle. Grubby and decrepit ablution block 50 metres across a sandy fetch from the cabin. Happy to leave early.
Excellent sites with BBQ FIRES with plate and hook for your Billy. Very friendly wildlife - feed the parrots and the kookaburras. Bring firewood.
Nothing fancy, but a great amount of space, opportunity for a hot shower, great body of water, beautiful countryside and bushland and not too far to reach to get away from the bustle of the metro area.
