Lake Brockman Tourist Park reviews
66 Great mid week get away,
Close to Harvey with easy access, and well spaced sites for our van.
Lots of Birdlife, and the occasional visiting Kangaroo with a Joey.
My partner and I stayed at one of the cabins, we didn't hold any grand expectations and were happy with something basic. However, when we arrived there were dead flies on the beds, unclean frying pans (despite their fine enforcement for not cleaning) and dirty floors. Also, we didn't realise you needed to bring your own sheets (which is our fault) however $140 more for Linen is a joke. Despite this location is good if I were to go back would rather camp as it would be cleaner then the cabins.
Stayed for two nights in our motor home. As it is off season we had a choice of heaps of sites. Great spots among the trees. Facilities were clean and tidy and staff were very helpful. Believe it's an in spot particularly on long weekends. Lake looked very inviting but maybe a tad chilly. Recommend.
A peaceful and well appointed campground. All amenities were well maintained and kept current. Fire rims were provided and the office/cafe sells firewood at $25/bag.
The cafe is open from 0800-1500 every day and serves a range of good eats. Didn’t try it out because we stayed for only one night and had our own meals.
We enjoyed the peaceful environment and how easy it was to walk to Lake Brockman.
The bush camp sites are great! Each site has a fire pit and bench table and chairs. Drop toilets and gas BBQs also there. Lake is amazing! Tons to do either on the water or around the tracks.
Great park, really good size sites, could do with cleaning the ablutions more regularly but overall great place to stay
Wonderful place and great staff. Stayed for 5 nights and didn't want to come home. Can't wait for next year
This is a very nice place if you have a boat no were for you to swim as the boats are up and down with some supper things bounceing on the back The park is very good lots of diffrent size site camping caravans will go back but not when children are on hollidays lol
Spent 5 nights camping in Quokka, had a blast! Best kept amenities and grounds. Lovely staff very helpful and cheerie. Best location in the south!
Power site with sharing kitchen and hot shower. Parrots come to eat tour food a bit walk to the lake side tho.
A cool place to spend the weekend
Quietly.
One hour 30 mte drive from perth w. Australia.
Walkable distance to Lake Brockman.
Had a pleasant 3 day stay in quokka area, would have given more stars if the long drop toilets were cleaned out more regularly, especially with the amount of people there I feel this needs to happen more regularly to keep them from smelling like it did.
We stayed in the caravan park of Lake Brockman Tourist park and it was a nice spot, large camp kitchen's and very clean drop toilets, overall nice place, but on cold days remember to take some fire wood to keep you warm
Great spot for camping. Gorgeous red tailed cockatoos. Was not much internet reception though for our online work (but for a holiday off grid, it is amazing!)
Very busy on the water, great place for camping and boating.
Winter is a great time to go also, lighting a fire in a fire ring is permitted.
OMG. What a beautiful spot. The lake is amazing and positioned just right to watch the sunset over the water. Forrest surrounds you and there are so many birds. Loved it. Will Def be back
For $43 Per night the Ablution facilities and Camp kitchen were third World quality. Bathrooms are not clean and well overdue for a renovation. The Camp kitchen was dirty and very basic.
I would not recommend staying here unless you like the noise of cars spinning there wheels on gravel all night.
Great place to camp. Very hard rocky ground so bring good tent pegs and hammer. Lovely tree cover, gravel paths round the lake for moutain biking or hiking. Lake is beautiful, cold but great. Plenty of fire pits and drop toilets. If you want shower access you need to stay at the caravan park, but otherwise have a swim in the lake ;). Great fun, definitely recommend it.
Short walk, like 100m to lake from our camp site. There's a cafe and small store at the caravan park bit. So you can buy wood, ice, icecreams etc. Plenty of people on the lake in boats, jet ski's and paddling.
Great location. From "Zamia" campground it's about 5 minutes walk to the boat ramp area. The lake is less than a 100m away, however, access is limited by a fence. The "kitchen" is basically two grills with no sink or running water.
