KFC Maylands

Every time I get kfc from here, there’s always something wrong.small chicken, not fried enough chips, forgetting the sauces, not filling frozen drinks all the way, no napkins. I can’t think of a single time the food and service was good from here.

9.30 pm last Friday, thought we'd have a naughty treat & have some KFC on the way home, service was almost non-existent, stood there for 5 mins & no assistance, my sister said to the girl at the end of the counter, excuse me can we order, her response, I'm on a break! The staff were unhelpful and sullen. It seriously went downhill from there, the dine-in area was blocked off so we couldn't sit in, my sisters burger had NO CHICKEN in it, the gravy was thin & tasteless, I said it was dishwater pretending to be gravy, the chips were cold & the piece of chicken that I got was so old & dry that DNA couldn't have been extracted from it. Please do yourselves a massive favour and go somewhere else. AWFUL.

I ordered 2 5 piece chicken and large chips only received 2 pieces of chicken and large chips for takeaway and no napkins. Rang to complain but no one answered and then the automated person wanted a remote access code.gave up

What a joke this store is! 4.30 Sunday arvo no original chicken! Asked for tenders told there would e a 15 min wait, employees scruffy and very disinterested.

Give this place a big miss!

Really struggled tonight.

Ordered a Dinner Box - but no Hot 'n' Spicy, nor Potato & Gravy, and ran out of juices!
Ordered a Tender Box, however not enough Tenders, so topped up with Popcorn Chicken, also no Potato & Gravy.

Had to re-route through the Drive through to request an alternative for the Potato & Gravy (because it was just left out) - so the young Window Attendant offered a Coleslaw option (actually, I suggested it, he provided good customer service, and provided it for both boxes).

All up, not one of KFC' finest moments.not having enough of what was required to make up both the Dinner and Tender Boxes.
And I was really looking forward to a quality KFC Meal.not so tonight

Taking ages to make a small order and can't even think about meal order. Probably i would die until my food arrives. Need to hire more enthusiastic people rather than hiring dead people.

Saturday 25/06/22 at 8PM. We ordered 4 pieces of chicken breast hot and spicy, they gave us a few chicken wings looks really bad like its been crushed with feather sticking out, unlucky i didnt take the picture. I call the guy out “excuse me this isnt chicken breast” his answer “yeah because its late nite and we low on stocks” that is not a proper answer! When you dont have the product your customer asked for you dont give them whatever you want! Your salary paid by customet money! And 8PM isnt late! Your website says close at 10PM! I then asked for tenders instead and he said “well then we have to refund you? ” What the? The African guy just grab our box no words and chuck the box down. Broo! You don't like your job just quit! People pay for the food bro! So disrespectful! Poor management! I feel sorry for the franchise owner.

Tonight’s KFC in Maylands has motivated me to buy an air fryer. Two minutes drive home and the food was cold. The tenderloins were dry and portions were stingy. Not all food on the menu was available.replacements were offered but not provided. The chips tasted like they were reheated and left to cool. All up it’s been ages since I’ve gone and I won’t be back.

I've lived in the area for 8 years and have been here more times than I should, simply because it is convenient. The service is borderline hostile to customers - as if the staff think customers are these annoying people who are getting in the way of their social life. The staff need to be explained that a significant portion of the cost price of each item sold goes DIRECTLY to paying their wages - i.e. The customers are paying your wages. I'm repeatedly given the incorrect order, without even asking if I'm happy with a substitution - I end up complaining, getting a voucher for replacement, which costs the store more in the long-run. Last time I was there, I ordered at the counter, there was hip hop BLARING across the entire store, and there was a puddle of water covering a significant portion of the floor - absolutely an OSH issue. I asked for specific pieces, but the staff member took so long to figure out whether they had those pieces that I decided to cancel - I called out a few times, but because the music was so loud, he couldn't hear me, so I left. This store had shown signs of improvement for a few years, but now seems to have slipped back into old ways.

Worst chicken i open the box and chicken is burnt black and dry, that place i hope gets closed down, food is discusting.

Drove thru driv thru, 7pm and could only serve a 6pc chicken box nothing else thorough disgrace, shut shop

Hadn't had KFC in over a year and thought I would treat the family. Bad from the stsrt as the tills were down so you couldn't pay by card nor could you get a receipt but you can ignore this as out of their control.

What they CAN control is the drive through menu screens which are impossible to read with the afternoon sun on it, the poor communication skills of the staff, the COLD AND DRY CHICKEN, the disastrous mash and gravy (they need a lesson from red rooster) and the coleslaw that nearly resembles coleslaw but tastes like something that shouldn't be sold as food.

All in all it was disappointing from beginning to end.

AT LEAST HAVE HOT & FRESH CHICKEN! OTHERWISE WHAT ARE YOU EXSISTING FOR!? !? !

The staff don’t care for customers walk-in, I wait 30’ for my order store not busy, only looking for drivethru

Order delivery yesterday, i order a combo because it comes with the dipping, the package arrived with no dipping whatsoever.
No napkin or cutlery, the staffs must expecting me to eat my mash potato and coleslaw salad with my fingers. Definitely finger lickin good that point hei?

At least they are consistent. Consistent in providing poor customer service and quality of food. It really shows how awful the management is in all levels.

There is no customer service at all here. Standing in front of the counter for 10 mins the service girl was talking with friends. And when they give your food just like throwing to your face. Fast food outlets are places for young kids to get some customer service experiences but with that kind of attitude will lead them to no where.

Worst kfc around, should change their oil once in a while. Have tried multiple times but not again. Long wait during quiet times, wrong orders, out of chicken and strange taste, not fresh tasting

The managers here aren’t very good and service is good at times however I ordered a zinger crunch burger and got no coleslaw and one tortilla chip.

Chicken was dry and ordinary. Waited too long in the drive through especially for 3pm. Must be under staffed or something, as sub standard experience.
Disappointing.

My dad ordered 6 pieces of kfc hot and spicy yesterday at 11: 45am they gave him 5 pieces. I ate one piece of kfc. This was a mistake. I woke up at 2.30am and had extremely painful diarrhea that burns. Now today I feel like throwing up trying hard not to. I'm feeling really woozy. Pray to God I can survive this. I'm not sure I'm strong enough. I'm really weak right now. I said to my dad never order kfc from Maylands ever again. I might not survive next time if you do.
