Monopoly because only beachfront van park in Jurien. Staff at reception are rude and dismissive. For the amount of money they charge for a site and the fact thay most holidays and long weekends they're fully booked you think they could splash a bit of cash on amenities and roads around the park.
We stayed 9 nights and requested a grass site. They wouldnt give us one because they said it was too long and the grass would die and they wouldnt be able to mow the lawn.
So were given a gravel site.dust bowl! The park wasnt even full and there were plenty of sites even with slabs that wouldve been better. Couldnt put pegs in with hammet or a drill. Had to use rocks to hold down mat. And dont come at me and say all parks up and down the coast are the same because we've been travelling for 3 months now and that certainly isn't the case. Port Denison and Carnarvon to name a few were great parks.
Amenities were cramped and dirty. Vents over showers were thick with dust that dropped on you while in the shower. Had to step back into the shower to get out of the shower door.
Felt sorry for a couple in a tent given a site near us where they tried to hammer in their pegs. Does no one in this place have half a brain!
There is no rhyme nor reason for the way these parks determine the allocation of sites.
Moronic!

Go every year for the Blessing of the Fleet. Stay in the cabins along by the bouncing pillow. These are looking very tired and dated. They have some newer ones that are better quality. Not 5* as price is still super high for such a run down cabin.

Fantastic campsite, our chalet was perfect. Easy beach access, and great fishing. A wonderful weekend away. Thank you

Below average facilities, ablutions were sub standard and generally unclean and run down. Powered sites were dusty, hard and the view consisted of a fence, garbage bins and a collection of junk. Forget shade, camp kitchen was shabby. Highlights - noisy neighbours leaving. Clearly the main investment is the onsite accommodation leaving the rest of the park in need. Take it or leave it, we choose to leave it and not return.

Stayed in a chalet. Had everything we needed, facilities were clean and serviceable, easy access to beach and shops. Will happily return for another holiday! Great stuff.

Perfect location - opens up right next to the beach, supermarket, cafe and pub so everything you need right there! Wifi was brilliant and toilets were super clean, it didnt feel like we were camping!
