Jurien Bay Tourist Park

You can't beat the location, as it is located right in front of the beach. Walking distance to the supermarket, pubs and amenities that Jurien Bay has to offer. The chalets are clean and well equipped, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are small but clean. Parking right outside your chalet. Minor maintenance issues eg: loose knobs etc but very clean.

Tis is a great spot. Great pub and restaurant just down the road and a few minutes drive into Dongara.

Great little getaway, the chalet was exactly what we were looking for. The chalet was very clean and tidy, would have no hesitation on a return visit

Ok Park but sites badly in need of levelling. Also more policing of dogs as we were surrounded by them and owners didn't keep them on leads. Also failed to pick up after them.
Old section ok but needs upgrading. Very few sumps. New section looks good but those sites need levelling as well. Should be a top park once upgrading is finished.

The guy who claims to be manager -so RUDE.how can you live in such a beautiful town and be such a grumpy person?
I read other comments about him and i thought it was just a bad day but apparently not. Hopefully owners would do something

Park, kitchen and bathrooms nice and clean.

I forgot my toilet key in the bathroom and after returning 30 min later it was gone. I told them when checking out and they said they would wait and see if someone returns it. But they didn't, as soon as I left they charged me 30 dollars for the key. I don't know why anyone else would keep the key. Seems like they don't really care and charge either way.

I believe Jurian Bat Caravan Park is a G'day park. It has the potential to be a good park but will not stay again for a number of reasons. Particularly: When reporting issues, with no hot water in the showers for a second day and some other maintenance issues related to taps and constantly running toilet, only got excuses as to why instead of simply saying they would have it attended to. This was followed by a visit from an abusive, argumentative chap who I think was the park manager who was making excuses for things not working and shouting over the top of me whist again mentioning the maintenance issues before storming off, hopefully to get the hot water working. All up, not a good image for a G'day Park.

Location location location! Beach, IGA Supermarket, Coffee, Cafe, Bakery, Bottle O, Markets all 2 min walk - literally across the road in all directions! Facilities were clean while I was there. Would totally go back and would highly recommend if you've never been there before!

Go every year for the Blessing of the Fleet. Stay in the cabins along by the bouncing pillow. These are looking very tired and dated. They have some newer ones that are better quality. Not 5* as price is still super high for such a run down cabin.

This year we were in one of the newer chalets which is so much better compared to the old ones. The old ones are simply awful so dont book them.

The checkin was poor. I had already paid expedia months ago, but got emails from them just before arrivong directly with reciepts and invoices on the day saying they charged my credit card. After much confusion at reception insisting that it was my card, it was determined that they had invoiced the expedia credit card and sent me the bill! Simply poor customer service and caused unnecessary angst.

Otherwise all ok.

Spent a couple of nights here, closer to the beach. Old amenities but very clean, great showers. Camp kitchen area was really good. Friendly, helpful staff.

Was great except we were put right again the back fence that had heaps of traffic noise so we didn't sleep all that well unfortunately

Visited here over the April school holidays, initially planned for a weekend earlier but had to shift it due to the cyclone. The tourist park was nice enough to allow us to move the booking for free. The tourist park is very crowded, with small width tent spots, even though we were next to one of the side gates, we felt secure as it was locked every night. Toilets are large enough for everyone, with secure electronic access. The kitchen does get crowded with everyone wanting to use the sink. Whilst they have a strict no noise after 10pm, it doesn't get enforced with some guests continuing into the night. Walking distance to the jetty and beach, with cafes and general store also across the road. Overall a pleasant stay.

We stayed on a powered van site which had plenty of room for the ute as well. The side acces gates made it easy to walk to and from the shops
Staff were very friendly and helpful and the sunset from the jetty just outside the main gates was great.
It would be perfect if the Jetty Cafe could sell drinks at sunset

Nice facilities and great location but one of the staff was going around just looking to kick people out one of the nights we were staying.

Asked a nice family to leave a night early because they were too loud on a Saturday evening. We were directly next to them and didn't even notice then until the staff started having a go which was louder than they were.

Probably just a one off, having a bad day or something.

Still recommended!

Camping, cabin or van

Nice park, enjoyed the stay. No place to wash boat down, understand the no motor flushing but a hose would be good to spray down. Need your own hose at the boat ramp facility.

Staff were rude. Doesn’t bothered to give any information about the park or the area. Even when we asked for the opening hours of the cafe next door.
You can have some grassy campsite for both powered and unpowered which is great. Only thing is the pack people: we stayed 2 nights and it was 4 caravans/ 4 sites next to each other with plenty free sites. When we asked the ladies about they told us to be more social

Road is a bit noisy. Amenities looks new and well maintained. Close to shops and beach.

There is not a lot of options for camping in jurien bay. It is always a shame in small places like this to see that because you are just passing by people don’t care about making you happy and enjoying your time here.
If you have the option I will not recommend to stay here. But if you do go grab a pizza across the street they are awesome

Nice camp great location. Central to everything pubs, shop, takeaways and importantly the beach and fishing is right outside the door to camp.
Very clean and tidy with great service.

Located right by the jetty and beach and only a short walk to 2 pubs and pizza shop. Clean amenities and friendly staff. Good prices for powered sites for the RV.
