73Called up and they confirmed my order is ready to be picked up, drove 40 minutes to get there the manager told me sorry we can’t find your order, very disorganised!
Such a helpful staff member in TV- explained a dongle to me & my problem is solved. Sorry I didn't get his name, but very tall & patient!
I wish I could rate them less than 1 star, I bought my furniture in a set and I was told that I will receive my buffet on 15/04/2021 by the representative. Later, on I get a call from the manger and she said I will receive my delivery in end of May. Today, she called me and said I will receive my delivery mid June and she cannot even confirm if it’s 100%. I bought coffee table, dinning table and buffet all matching, I asked them to replace it and they said they can’t.
I will definitely be taking this matter to consumer court, as it feels like fake promises made.
The day I bought, the guy Varun was so confident that I will receive my delivery in mid April.
Do not trust these guys, they will change their words after payment.
Always get the best price in town on electrical appliances. Dathan is a champion along with many other great staff there! 5 stars.
Had an issue with my electric reclining sofa. The problem was resolved immediately in a professional manner. Great customer service.
Extremely disappointed in the customer service and products. I have been a loyal customer of HN for quite some years. I recently spent thousands on a new hall table and buffet table. They came damaged.twice! I had to have boxes of damaged furniture sitting in my living room for 6 weeks with refusal to collect it until they swapped it with new furniture. I then had it redelivered only to have the furniture come damaged again. The customer service was atrocious. Managers didn’t call me back when promised. I was constantly phoning and emailing to get updates and ask what was happening. Promises to deliver by the end of the week and then I wouldn’t hear from them. When I expressed my displeasure I was given no apology just excuses. You have lost me as a customer. I had another couch to purchase and I took my $5k and spent it elsewhere.
I have returned a microwave oven almost 3 months ago under warranty to Cannington store instead of giving me a repayment they sent me to LNB electronics to repair it under warranty.and i m still waiting.each time i call LNB electronics they tell me that they are waiting for parts.i want Harvey Norman to give me a replacement immediately as its been almost 3 months now.
I went for a monitor and was served by a very young man Nathan. He gave me his full attention, found me an alternative product and matched the specs. He made sure I was happy and assured me a guatentee to return it if I did not like it. Thank you Nathan. Hoping your boss can pat your back for such a nice service you provided.
Nice store, staff are helpful, bought big ticket electronics items from here a couple times with no problems and good service.
It can be a little confusing as to where to go sometimes but the staff can usually help you quickly. Also bought via phone order and had no problems picking up in person.
Horrible experience
I went there to get a gaming desktop and I found it then I was standing there for like 20 minutes and no one came to help there wasn’t even lot of staff there was like tow not happy at all
Went for a 2 in 1 laptop today. Chris has been very helpful and knowledgeable. Other staffs are also very friendly. Will definitely come back to purchase other items again ️
Happy and satisfied customer here. Bought my phone over the weekend and we were assisted by Nathan. Truly Nathan is an asset to the company, he is very passionate about his job and he makes sure customers get the best value of their hard earned money. And overall the store provides outstanding service.
Came to shop for a rug on Christmas eve, this lady from the carpet and rug section came up to me and started being very very pushy telling me that she hasn't made her a sale all day and asked me to buy something so she can go home early which made me feel extremely uncomfortable by pressuring me to buy their rug. She literally said "thank you for ruining my christmas" in a mocking tone after I told her I will think about and maybe come back later.
I normally never comment on these things but I have never ever met someone like that and I have never felt so uncomfortable and pressured while shopping. This experience makes me never want to return to the store again.
First server he walked away after he told me the stock was out and before I was finished. So I hung around for a while until anouth server noticed us served us and we were eventually able to purchase the remainding items on our list and pay for the out of stock item waiting on the next shipment.
The female staff at Apple computer section need to be more customer service orientated. Never stood up to greet. All vibes were negative from her. She just sat there all the time warming up the chair. She needs more training.
Put a deposit on a kids trundle bed months ago. They didn’t have one In Store to view but assured me if it was not suitable when it arrived i could get a full refund. I was called a few weeks ago to be told it had arrived. I asked for its measurements to work out the size and see how we could get it delivered. The measurements proved to big for the room so I called to ask for the deposit to be returned. I was told over the phone it was fine and just to pop in store as they can’t refund over the phone. Today I went in. I was greeted and when explained that I was there for a refund the tone changed. I explained the whole situation and the girl was immediately defensive and explained they don’t usually give refunds. I continued reiterating the previous discussions, so she called her boss who said he would call tomorrow to discuss. I was firm as i did not want to drive back as I had been told all I had to do was go in and it would be done. I asked to speak to the boss myself. After speaking with him he returned my deposit.
The girl I was dealing with has a lot to learn about customer service. She continued to speak over me, didn’t understand their store process and contradicted herself several times. Told me I must have wrong the wrong store and rolled her eyes many times. When I explained I understand refund policies as I worked retail for 15 years her response was “Good for you”. Wow! In my many years, I may have dealt with difficult customers and difficult situations but I was always polite and accomodating, and I always went out of my way to fix a situation. Especially in situations when customers were assured of refunds when goods were not suitable. So my suggestion would be to train this girl in the bedding section better on how to interact with customers and how not to be so rude. I won’t be shopping at Cannington again.
Really hated the dude constantly trying to upsell me. They're lucky they were the only place with the TV I wanted in stock or I'd have gone elsewhere.
Usually good dam sight better than Armadale store who always claim items are sold out and need to come from Sydney funny they always have them in Cannington lol
Kristy in the photo dept is extremely pleasant, polite, and helpful. She has endless patience with us oldies who have a limited knowkedge of technology. Thank-you Kristy!
Zach from Bedding department was extremely helpful and considerate. We had purchased King Single Bed, bedside and tall boy package from Cannington Harvey Norman. The bed delivered had different assembly instructions which didn’t match the parts. We called Zach to share concern. He personally came to our home. Spoke to retailer and assembled complete bed after work. He not only gave us a good product but ensured the complete experience from purchase to assembly was seamless.
