I was here with some of my classmates and We had the best time with the food and the atmosphere of this place, thnks Sir for your delicious Fish and Chips in the heart of the city Perth, Western Australia.
Large portions given. Had the fisherman's box, which is fish, calamari, and prawns with chips and a dip. Very filling! Staff were friendly and they give you a buzzer when your food is ready, which came rather quickly. Location is behind Barrack and Wellington streets
Maybe I was the last customer of 04 Dec. This restaurant is very kind and sensible. Not only the Boss, but all the staff! I hope you must go if you want to eat amazing Fish and chips in Perth! Thank you for being kind to foreigners. See ya!
Fish was very fresh. Squid very tender. Truly one the good fish and chips shops in perth.and the dude there was very knowledgeable and accommodating
I was hoping for so much given the reviews. It was a good classic fish and chips tho not spectacular like the ones along great ocean road. The calamari tasted odd though - there wasn't a bite to it, just soft throughout, as if it wasn't fresh. I recommend buying the tartar sauce cuz the food doesn't come seasoned. Otherwise, a good back alley ambience for a quick and easy fish and chips!
Had a late lunch takeaway (fisherman's basket) on a weekday. Service was really friendly, but fish and calamari tasted a little stale to me. The hand cut chips, while good and tasty, could have been more crunchy. I might come back to give these guys another shot some day!
