Very delicious Tacos, Quesadillas and Churros! The service was great as well, polite and friendly waitresses and waiters.

Great restaurant with good veggie options. Food and service were amazing. We ordered some starters which were good but the highlight were the tacos; the cauliflower one was top! *

Poor service. We were asked if we wanted drinks when we sat down and not asked again. Felt like we were being rushed out of there.

All the food came out very quickly and was only just warm. Was extremely over priced.

Food was amazing and especially our waitperson Isaac. He's very fantastic and knowledgeable with allergies as well.

Loved the crickets? ! Isaac served us. He was super diligent with my wife's seafood allergy. Went to the extra effort to mark what dishes were a no-go for her. Thank you Isaac! The Beef Rib with "Mo-le" was real good too! Thanks El Publico.we will bring some chilli's next time! Gracias!

Amazingly authentic Mexican, delish margarita! Highly recommend (try the Mezcal Tommy's for a bity kick, heaven)!

Closest Mexican food in town mate, come have a Mexican beer with Lovley taco and you will have a happy day:)

I’ve been looking for a great Mexican place since moving from the US to Perth and this one is perfect! Not trying to be too fancy, just really good quality of everything and the right types of spices (very hard to find in Perth). Spicy margaritas, lots of tacos, amazing.

Mixed grill? More like mixed great! Food was fantastic, staff were kind, attentive, and enthusiastic. The look and taste of the cocktails were congruent to my interpretation of heaven. Could not recommend enough.

Such a special experience. As a girl from the bush in the city for a few days, this meal was outstanding. New, edgy and definitely spicy. The staff were considerate and ensured we had absolutely everything we could ask for.

Food was tasty! The beef mogo mogo was surprisingly really good (didn't know what to expect), quesadilla is typical and could use more guacamole tho (cannot have enough!). Service was good and the lady was engaging with the patrons.:)

Very friendly service. Made a booking with baby. Were fully accommodated. Food was bloody great. Tacos and seafood were fresh and tasty Ive worked in mexican restaurants so take it from me. Drinks were fab order the mango chilli marg.

Such a cute Mexican restaurant and bar. Loved the pulled pork and battered fish taco! The blue spot emperor ceviche was so refreshing with the pineapples. I'm definitely coming back to try the mix grill which looked amazing!

Not able to cater very well for vegetarians. Used to be great, not sure what's changed but it's a shame.

EDIT to say: John, being vegetarian has nothing to do with ego. I'm amazed you guys are still operating given our experience and your attitude. It was frankly bizarre. I hope other vegetarians take note of this review - it's my honest opinion based on our experience at your restaurant. Perhaps there's something you can learn from it so you don't continue getting this kind of negative feedback. I'm not trying to be petty - having a local healthy restaurant scene is in our favour too. I don't like dumping on a small business, but our experience was so poor I think there's value in letting other vegetarians know.
I ate at El Publico a few years back and had a really wonderful time. Lovely fresh dishes and a fun vibe. I hope you get back to that kind of offering soon.
