76Ratchet cesspool of beaurocratic lunacy. Rude and will throw passive aggressive nothings at you in attempts to make you leave before their "closing time" displayed. Get in the bin.
They are not professional enough to do their job. They just make more different for you and not really solve the problem.
Served by Suzzie (counter 2) today who went out of her way to make things smooth. Thank you so much for going over and beyond. It would have been so much less hassle for you if you didn't care as much as you clearly do. Thank you!
18 counters but only 7 are open.
People sitting on the floor waiting for hours to get the documents done!
Unbelievable!
The guy at the entrance was very helpful. The only positive thing
Just go there and do not have other appts for the day! Love the lady that was keeping the people moving! That was good! Question: Why close the other departments earlier then keeping Mirrabooka opened? All the people from other areas then flooded into Mirrabooka!
They're terrible and they're going to waste your money and time. If you're doing a driving test don't book here they're the only one with bookings for a reason.
I just did my pda just cut off by a car and jay said it was my fault at mirrabooka near the police station and the mirrabooka has a reputation for failing people there did it to my friend so many times….
I passed my PDA with assessor Amrit. He is very friendly, calm and nice assessor and very clear instructions.
Thank you Mr Amrit, you are amazing
I recently had the opportunity to interact with Mr Amrit, an assessor at the driving test centre in Mirrabooka. Although I was unsuccessful in passing my driving test initially, I am grateful for the invaluable guidance and insights Mr Amrit provided me. His actions and responsible attitude helped me understand the true purpose of the driving test and enabled me to improve my skills.
Prior to meeting Mr Amrit, I had succumbed to the common misconception that assessors were out to fail us. This belief had been instilled in my mind by the opinions of others. However, Mr Amrit shattered this preconceived notion by taking the time to explain to me the real purpose behind the driving test. He emphasized that assessors have a crucial responsibility towards society, ensuring that only competent individuals receive a driver's license. Their primary concern is the safety of both drivers and pedestrians on the road.
Mr Amrit's willingness to address my mistakes and provide constructive feedback demonstrated his commitment to his role. Rather than blaming the assessors for my failure, I took a closer look at my instructor's training methods. This perspective shift allowed me to take responsibility for my own learning and growth, understanding that improving my driving skills was ultimately my responsibility.
Motivated by Mr Amrit's behaviour and responsible attitude, I decided to book another driving test in Mirrabooka. Although he didn't personally conduct my subsequent test, I implemented the suggestions he had previously provided. Working diligently on rectifying my mistakes, I was able to pass the test this time around.
I am immensely grateful to Mr Amrit for pointing out my driving errors and enlightening me about the potential dangers they could pose in the future. His insights were instrumental in my improvement, and I credit him for my success. His dedication to his job, along with the entire team at Mirrabooka DVS, deserves admiration and respect.
In conclusion, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Mr Amrit for his guidance and support. His professionalism and commitment to ensuring the safety of drivers and pedestrians alike left a lasting impression on me. I now understand that assessors are not adversaries but valuable resources for our growth as responsible drivers.
Had my PDA today and got Rod as my driving assessor. I was very nervous but he was very fair and kind, and made me feel a lot less nervous during my test. I passed too! Wishing everyone the best of luck. I hope you get him for your test, as he's one of the best and most generous driving instructors I've come across.
What is wrong with these workers here some of them don’t know customer service exist honestly disappointing
If you get here early enough the line moves relatively quickly but 3 stars due to the wait times, much quicker than the west Leederville store. Staff are friendly.
Best thing was the lady dealing out the tickets for your turn. Great job, know where to go and put into the quickest queue. She made what can be a very painful experience almost enjoyable
Efficient queuing and ticketing systems in place considering the volume of customers here.
Extremely poor service when trying to return license plates. Due to how busy the centre was, we were seated right at the front entrance - completely opposite end to the booths. Our number was called and we immediately started walking to the booth with our young daughter, by half way, the number was called again but we were still walking. Shortly after this, the next number after us was called. We arrived to the booth and the lady (didn't get her name but she was middle aged and had a lip piercing) said to us that she had already called someone else and we would need to line back up. We are young, fit people and didn't dawdle around - I would hate to be someone elderly/impaired who couldn't walk very fast at all. Her attitude was extremely rude and not considerate at all. We would have been happy to wait while she served the other lady before us?
The lady at the front organising tickets for everyone was doing a fantastic job and extremely bubbly which was nice to see. She also helped us out very quickly after we returned to line back up.
The place was very, very busy so a fair wait time, but there was a lot of staff and everyone was friendly and professional, I completely what I needed to and also license requirements I hadn’t considered getting done that day, I was happy.
Worst department! I have booked in A PDA test for my husband at 7.55 am he came in early but they’re open at 8: 15. So had to asked my husband to pay for another PDA test which is annoying! Why would you accept early bookings if you are not open!
I would like to let Department of Transport Mirrabooka Manager know that the gentleman that looked after me when I first came in was sensational. I was impressed with his customer service. He went above and beyond his call of duty for me. I hope I get his name correct. I think it was Bill Macintosh. He was the one that greeted me with kindness and a smile and asked me questions to find out the right ticket and forms for me and helped me understand how to fill it out. I hope he is recognised by Management for his fantastic caring demeanor and excellent customer service. He made me feel cared for and welcomed. Thankyou Bill, I appreciate you. Happy customer Donna
What a RUDE, ARROGANT AND UNPROFESSIONAL STAFFS! Long queue! The worst department of transportation branch we’ve ever been!
Terrible.
Had to wait in the sun for 30 min before we got let in the building. Only to find out that their “rules” are different to other DOTs and required printed copies of paperwork, not digital.
It’s 2022! Who has a printer these days.
Lady was rude and not very willing to help aside from tell us to go to a library
