Cottage Tea Rooms reviews
71Whilst there was a sign that there would be a wait, our order was taken by a lovely lady and we were served promptly. Delicious scones which would be worth the wait anyways!
Had scone & cake and enjoyed it. Warm service and sweet place to just chill with coffee or tea.
Lovely high tea experience, fresh & all home made! Really enjoyed the relaxed ambience, attentive staff & nice venue. Great value for money too!
Was a lovely set up and delicious food. Would say that the room we were in for the larger booking (12 people) was a bit small, but all in all we had a great time.
Went yesterday with my sister and sister in law and had the high tea. All the food was delicious, the sweet and the savoury and you could have 2 coffees or a pot of tea per person, ,
Went for afternoon tea with scones jam and cream an a pot of tea was delightful sitting in the garden under the large canopy of the tree the scones were delicious and I recommend a visit
What a beautiful High tea.soo well looked after. Amazing staff and beautiful food and drinks. Highly recommended.thank you for making my day soo special.very memorable
Haven’t been here for a while, definitely still the best scones around. Our food & drinks came out swiftly even though it was very busy with a lot of high tea bookings.
Food was still very yummy & service with a smile.
Very relaxed & enjoyable atmosphere away from the hustle & bustle of the city.
Worth a visit if you are down Swan Valley way.
Really cute little place. We had quiche and scones and they were both really nice. Service was prompt but could have been a little bit more friendly. It's a minor gripe, it certainly wouldn't stop me from coming back and I definitely think it's worth a visit if you haven't been before.
As in the name, this lovely old cottage turned into beautiful tea rooms filled with cute paintings and items. The scone was exquisite, which went perfect with the tea. The tea pot and cups were somewhat antique and unique. Their coffee may not be the best kind so I’d recommend tea for future visitors.
Nice little spot. The scones really are the best. Warm and generous serves of cream and jam. Great cup of team also
The apple strudel is very stale and tea is weak even left in the tea pot to brew. My wife's carrot cake is saved by the ice cream. This place used to be very good but I'm not sure why it's like this today.
The tea is rather weak though, shall order a stronger tea and larger pot, fairy bread and cakes be damned.
The aircon is on full and a tad cold inside though, in the height of summer this could be a oasis to traveling families with little ones.be sure to reserve and table by the windows.
Took my granddaughter and friend for her birthday as she wanted to have " cup of tea in fancy cup" for her birthday. We chose from A la Carte. Her friend had virtually finished her plate before ours were served.quiche and salad. Sadly she was very disappointed in her "fancy cups" as they were ordinary cups.service was slow
Very accommodating place. Initially booked for 3 for high tea then phoned the day before to see if we could add another to our group which they said yes to. Very old, quirky tea rooms, literally looks like a little old cottage. We went on a hot day and sat inside. The room was a perfect temperature and our waitress was very friendly. There was a lot of food provided for each person and for $35, this is one of the best priced high teas we've been to in Perth (have attended 7 different high teas so far). The food was fresh and tasty and was brought out in a timely manner. We were served by Anne who was friendly and kind and made sure everything was perfect. In the selection of foods, there were items that we hadn't had before (like the beetroot and feta pastries) and a few others. All the food tasted fresh as though it had been cooked on-site. We have recommended this place to our friends and recommend for anyone looking for a great high tea at an excellent price.
Beautiful, quaint, excellent service, light, simple meals which were excellent value and very tasty.
A thoroughly enjoyable place for a light meal. No alcohol so you don't have to worry about drinking and driving. A good variety of teas available.
One of the best places in the Swan valley to get fantastic Scones. If you like Devonshire tea's. This is the place!
The best scones in Perth. Warm and fresh. Sunday Morning is very popular, so be sure to arrive early or book. Sandwiches are also on the menu.
We celebrated our engagement party here and the ladies did amazing for such a large group. The food was lovely and quick. Thanks for helping us celebrate our day.
We booked on Saturday afternoon for 14 ladies (plus 2 infants) for a baby shower and had an abolutley wonderful time!
Even though we could see the ladies were very busy given it was a sunny Satursday afternoon, we were given a warm welcome and the room was set up with the tea sets and decorations. We were looked after and accomodated when asking if some of the guests could swap out the bottomless tea for cold drinks or coffee. The food was delicious and great value for money and the 3 mothers-to-be enjoyed the experiece. The wonderful hosts even took pictures for us and joined in on the baby-shower games and quizes (when they could sneek a minute!) I would defintely recommend to anyone wanting to book an Afternoon Tea experience for groups large or small! Thank you Cottage Tea Rooms)
