What a beautifully decorated and presented cottage for high tea or scones and coffee. Inside or outside, there is something cute to see. The coffee and tea was how it should be strong and not bitter. The sandwiches were fresh, well filled and looked great. The waffle tasted a little like cottees chocolate topping and did not have the depth of flavour I hoped for. Many people were trying the high tea and that looked amazing!

This has changed owners since I was here last (2 years ago). Owner was lovely, I cannot comment on the tea and cakes as we stopped hoping to buy the cheap bric a brac that the cottage used to sell.

Took my mature friend out for brunch yesterday and found this amazing place. We hadn't booked but they still accommodated for us. Gave us a front table overlooking the garden. Great staff, great food and atmosphere. Would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Super super nice place. Wonderful deco, nice vibes, excellent food, and friendly staff. A must-go.

Edit* I would not have made any review/public comment if there was an apology on the day. Sadly, both my mum & her friend did not get any. I wish your business well, but you might have to review how you approach customers (specially elderly ladies suspected of stealing a cup)

My mum & a friend went recently. They had scones, tea & coffee. After my mum finished her tea, her cup was taken from the table. As they were walking out, an acquaintance was sent out to ask them where the cup was. Then the owner came out & asked. They explained it was taken off the table. The owner then said “you’d be surprised how many cups gets stolen”!
The girl that took the cup then came out & said it’s in the kitchen.
Worst part…. NO APOLOGY! ‍️

We had a beautiful morning at the tearooms celebrating our sisters baby shower. Looks gorgeous inside and the food was so good. Scones are super fresh. Thanks Mrs Rabbit.

The Cottage Tea Rooms is a lovely place to go with friends for a special celebration or a quiet catchup. The quality of the service, the food (made freshly onsite) and the homely feel of the venue, is of a high standard.

Our first afternoon tea ever and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Cottage Tea Rooms is a great place for afternoon tea. Beautifully decorated in old world style and the staff, particularly Anne, are so friendly and helpful. Food scrumptious and we will definitely be back. Thanks for a great afternoon.

When you want to get away from the city drudge.make it an afternoon or day trip for their own baked scones and varieties of tea. Always tasty and refreshing

We booked and then enjoyed a beautiful high tea. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure our cups were full. Home made food always tastes better.

Not a great experience. $18 for a beef pie which was tiny. Salad it came with was inedible, no dressing. They overcharged us twice. When we questioned it they pulled out their own docket saying no we didn't. When we added up what we got vs what we got charged it didn't add up so yes they DID overcharge us. They had no explanation and didn't give a refund. Add your order up before you pay people! Place is unclean, dirty cutlery that everyone touches. Avoid this place and find somewhere else to spend your money.

Not a bad tea room. Menu options are limited. They had run out of pies and other menu items. Mind you it was school holiday time

Hands down the best scones I've had in Perth! We had the vegetarian high tea and everything was good! The atmosphere was very chilled and relaxed. Tried so many different delicious flavours of tea (bottomless - enough said!). Would definitely recommend for a girls day out:)

Popped in for morning tea after seeing this place many times.
Enjoyed a pot of English breakfast tea, which was served in a very cute teapot, hot and was made with loose tea. That was a pleasant surprise as other places have simply used teabags.
Tried the famous Swan Valley Scones.
Plain, fruit and cheese & bacon. All were really delicious. Really wanted to try the date scone, however this was sold out early!
Was a very quaint place to enjoy morning tea and would definitely go again. Had a small play equipment for the littles but other than that they need to self entertained.

Cute little place, but over the years they are just taking advantage of people as the prices of got extremely exxy for the value of what you get on the plate. Would not recommend coming here any more.
