I love this place, good tea, great food and if you ask for a really big coffee its basically the size of a soup bowl. What more could anyone ask for.

My friend has been trying to get me to try congee for ages but never seen a vegan version untill now. It was unbelievable so tasty! Definitely coming back

The coffee is really good and the pandan crepes are delicious. Try to get a seat in the courtyard on a nice day and you won't be disappointed, as the atmosphere is very pleasant

Keith is so friendly and knowledgeable and clearly passionate about tea and Chapels on Whatley. I have a severe peanut allergy, which was accommodated with ease and confidence. Lunch (tofu plate and peach iced tea) was delicious! The selection of teas and teawares are extensive, beautiful and well-priced. I loved visiting today and can't wait to come in for High Tea soon!

Great spot on Whatley Crescent, Maylands if you want to get out for a bite to eat, enjoy the many varieties of teas or just have a coffee and cake.
Good food, good service. Been there a few times and will definitely visit again

These horrible, gorgeous men (the owners) made me drink 3 bottles of delicious organic wine and I had no hangover the next day!

What can I say, Chapels is my favourite Perth treasure, hiding in plain sight on Whatley crescent in Maylands.

If you love good tea you can't go past their selection. The food is delicious, decor is Euro Asian fusion kitsch and I love the ambience of the place, there really is something for everyone/every age.

It's magic, take someone special with you.

Good selection of tea. Sometimes get mixed rules eg staff will say have to finish pot before can get another and other will say you don't have to finish the pot.

Chapel's turned me from a coffee drinker into a tea drinker once I realised how good tea can taste! Excellent tea, food, and friendly helpful staff. I regularly pop in to try and buy their amazing teas. They even have fresh pots outside to sample and help you decide!

Went for brunch. Had the fresh dim sum for 2. Great selection of cocktails and beers amongst the beautiful blends of teas and teapots. The atmosphere was Asian inspired and the mood set with great tunes and a choice to sit inside or out with a flow of water streaming in the backdrop. Good service, was a wait time, but to be expected with all tables full. Quirky and moment's reminiscent of being somewhere far off.

Terrible food and service. Not sure if we got an off day as I had been told good things previously. But the breakfast came out cold, the toast was burnt, rock hard and difficult to eat. Have to say the worst breakfast I have ever had. A shame considering we were out celebrating Father’s Day.

When the waitress asked us if everything was ok - we told her the above and her response was ‘just keep eating it and you’ll get over it’. So basically terrible service on top of terrible food.

The customer service by Keith was DISGUSTING. Maybe he should consider employing wait staff with proper customer service skills to do the job, rather than doing the job himself. Now I understand the other 1 star reviews. What a shame for the other owner losing out on business for his appalling service.

Went there for breakfast with my wife, food was great and so was the wide variety of tea selection. They have English and Chinese tea so if you are a team lover, you would be spoil for choices!

Another wonder meal! Great to have GF choices for Mains and desserts. Actually the biggest dessert menu I have seen for a long time. Live music was wonderful and added to a great meal out. Thankyou!

I had scrambled eggs, added avo, and had a flat white with hazelnut flavour. The eggs were delicious and came with a chutney that was brilliant! I can't fault the food at all. I felt service could have been more attentive, but it was polite.

Food and wine and tea excellent. Nice ambience. Friendly obliging service. Prices elevated. Apart from 2 musicians playing for entertainment the front part of restaurant is very noisy when well attended.

Absolutely love this place! I’ve been here multiple times. I love the fact breakfast is served all day. The menu selection is really unique but it works. I especially love the vermicelli omelette and the incredible tea selection. This place is a hidden gem! I wish I could give more than 5 stars to the owner who by the way is super friendly!

When it's flu season some people go to their doctor. I go to Chapels and pick up a selection of their fine teas as recommended by the owner.

Can also highly recommend the Pandan Crepes for breakfast.
