Canning Bridge 7 Day Medical Centre reviews
78Doctors always running extremely behind. Expect a 40 minute wait atleast. They will never give an accurate time the doctors are running behind even if you phone ahead. I just sat with with a 1 year old baby who was crying and coughing the entire time for 70minutes. I expect better for the area and the fact its a paying practise. But I watched about 50 covid jab appointments go through.
If you don't want to wait at least one hour to see a doctor try to avoid this place. They should hire more doctors than receptionists.
Good nurses! They are good with their jabs - my children don't really cry so we know they do it well ;)
That's where my good experience ends.
Not shaming here but it's just a drs surgery,
Reception is busy,
I'm not sure why I ever bother booking an appointment. They are 100% late.
If you have an appointment at 9 am, you'll be seen around 9.30-10
If you have a 5pm appointment 5.30-6pm
Don't go here if your time is important to you,
We only go here because it's a 5 minute walk, and we have to get vaccinations for children regularly.
However after a 30minute to an hour wait we usually just check in w reception and go shopping.
Expecting children to wait around a drs surgery is optimistic at best.
The drs advice towards children is soso to wrong,
But let's face it parents will be biased any ways. Lol but definitely be dubious as they do give wrong advice.
The reception is busy but they just lie, you ask how late things r running they won't tell the truth.why fight that you run late and just solve it by having a ticketed timer, or have a sms polling system, surely you can say your running late and there will be a wait get a coffee come back in 15. Rather than your next. 1 hr later lol
If you can go elsewhere go! If this is your local then get ready to wait.
Update to 1 star, I'm fed up waiting, I know what I'm in for but seriously, I have a life and my time is important too.
Doctors fabulous, reception staff gossipy and rude, especially Asian girl and blonde one with lots of make-up.
Dr Daniel Leahy is a wonderful GP. He is one of the rare practitioners who has a combination of expansive knowledge and expertise, great clinical skills, and perfect patient interaction. My family always feel much better just having consulted with Dr Leahy. We totally trust our health to him. He also has a wonderful team at the reception who have to deal with some very unpleasant, unreasonable and impatient public. Earlier this year, a family member had to see the nurses regularly for a few weeks and we were very impressed with them. Kudos to Dr Leahy and his team.
If you willing to take at least 45 minutes to see a GP, please go there. Yesterday I took my son to see the GP, when we go inside I went to the receptionist and told her we have an app she checked it and said "take a seat" after 30 min wait went to reception and said "why is this taking so long? " and we found out that she didn't even register that we are there. So we had to wait 15 min more. They didn't even apologise kindly. Rude and spoilt people.
Great medical centre with lovely doctors. So convenient that there are physio, psychology, dental, pathology and pharmacy services all in the same building!
All of my family have been with this practice for many years. They are excellent and diligent. Very high levels of care across all practice staff, doctors and nurses. I highly recommend. Yes sometimes the GPs can run over time, but as with any GP surgery, the health practitioner's serve the patient and not the queue. Emergencies happen all the time and appointments run over time. That's the nature of providing healthcare.
Receptionists and phone clerks have incredibly poor communication. Don't really seem to care. Rude, impatient phone manner. Uncaring attitude!
Dr. Neda Namdar was so amazing, she made me feel so comfortable and was very understanding and friendly, thank you so much to made me feel better.
Also the Ladies at the reception were very nice, even on the phone when I rang and made my appointment.
Thanks so much!
Avoid dr. Arfina Khan at all costs, extremely rude and derogatory, not interested in helping patients, speaks in an abnoxious tone. Surprised people like her are even allowed in such a noble profession.
The reception staff here have great customer service and very polite.
The Doctors at this center are very knowledge and defiantly really care for there patient.
I will defiantly be making this my permeant medical center.
Dr Afrina Khan is extremely caring and thoughtful professional. I highly recommend the services provided by the clinic. All the staff are courteous, caring and helpful. I have never waited more than 10 minutes past my appointment time, which is amazing considering I have never been rushed through an appointment. Don't hesitate in utilising their professional services.
Dr Afrina Khan is a wonderful GP. She is caring and personable showing understanding and concern. I love that she is open and transparent and provides clear and detailed explanations. Dr Khan has no hesitation in referring to specialists when needed. Dr Khan is an old style GP who knows and cares about you and your family. I highly recommend her.
The WORST experience I have ever had with doctors in my life. I strongly not recommend this medical centre. Specially Dr Anwar Jawad, she is so unprofessional, rude and disinterested in helping you. She is more concerned in leaving early to her house than helping you. Be careful.
The reception lady call Stirdy is very rude and impatient. When i ask her some questions and she always not looking at me when replying question.
Just got my Covid vaccine here yesterday. The doctor was lovely, and the person giving me the needle…. I didn’t feel a thing.
I don’t feel flash today but that’s not the fault of the medical centre.
I like the place, clean, convenient, staff are efficient. I’d go back for sure
Brilliant practice. High quality, brand new premises with my same familiar doctor/s for 30 years. It is a credit to the staff/owners at Reynolds Road to not lay down and be overrun by the larger Corporates. They still provide 'one on one' postive upbeat bed side medical advice in a very professional & sanitary premises. And as a small aside to those who bag RRMC, there is a reason a Waiting Room is called A Waiting Room. We are all humans with no exact 15 minute requirements. Great job guys! Keep up the good work.
I have finally found a General Practice for my family that I feel happy with. The reception staff are great and the Doctors are very professional and attentive. I would give an extra star if I could.
I asked specifically for a female doctor and was assured I'd be able to see one only to get the the medical centre to be appointed a male doctor who explained that female doctors do not work on weekends. On top of that did not get my issue resolved but was just given pain relief medication until I could get an appointed with a female doctor. (Back story: I came in with a severe pain problem)
