An absolute joke of a car hire company.
We hired our basic car at midday on a Friday for a trip to the South West (we had advised them this is what we were doing). As is normal for most car company’s we were given 100km free per day and had rented the car for 5 days until the Tuesday. Upon returning the car on Tuesday we received our final bill and they had advised we only rented the car for 4 days and therefore were not given our free 100kms for Tuesday and therefore charged for it? Moreover it stated we had driven an extra 300kms than we had done. (We have photos of the odometer)
When we questioned the free 100kms for Tuesday, the staff member stated that we had only rented the car for 4 days not 5 (Friday-Tuesday) ? Her logic was that we had returned the car at midday on Tuesday which was early and therefore this counted as 4 days as the company counts days in 24 hour periods and not actual days of the week? We tried to argue our case and she became extremely hostile explaining that this is the way everyone counts days? So we were actually punished and charged more for returning the car early by their logic. When we questioned the extra Kms on the odometer she refused to answer us?

We have now sent emails and tried to call again with the company refusing to reply or help. Our bill was $385 for technically by their logic a 4 day rental.

Will never use this company again and advise you do not either.

Very upset. I was 5 minutes late on the Saturday to return my car, called multiple times and just begged for them to wait 5 miutes, 5! Not 10, not 20,5 simple minutes. The gentleman was so rude to me and I have been charged now for the whole weekend. I called to let the woman know I had dropped the car off 5 minutes late and its just a shame the gentleman had left as I go caught up at work and she had nothing to say. No compassion or understanding. Do not recommend.

Easy to deal with and in a convenient location for me. Though Neville prefers the old days when they had birds next door.

Local, nice new cars, best service & prices, the 7 day specials are unbeatable value, I usually grab an Outlander or a Carnival when I go country to visit some of my gr.grannies.

I specifically booked a RAV4 a couple of months before a trip up to Kalbarri and Monkey Mua. When we arrived to pick it up the night before we were due to leave we were handed keys for a 7-seater Mitsubishi. SUV. When we said “this isn’t a RAV4”” we were simply told “yeah sorry about that”. Unfortunately too late to do anything about it - only choice we had was the Mitsubishi or an i30

Needed a car for 7 days, this was the most easiest experience booking on line easy, picking up my car easy within 8 mins the friendly office staff explained everything too me that I needed too know. I loved my zippy Kia hatchback it was extremely clean and I loved the way it drived, definitely would use again and recommend to others

Best place in Perth to hire cars. Easy location to get to and friendly staff. The cars are competitively priced, clean and reliable. Pay insurance and get 0 excess. No Birds @ Bayswater is very convenient with no hassles (and no birds.) Alex who works there is awesome. He is a wealth of information and knows the business very well. He has been a continuous gem with hiring cars. Cannot fault anything he does. Quick service and over the phone extensions if req and if able to be done. Well done Alex. Bayswater car rental is the only car rental place I’d go to to hire a car in Perth. Cheap base rates for everyone - no age discrimination. Only requirement is you at least have your P plates.

I highly recommend the top cover. Driving down to Bunbury from Perth, a rock was flicked up by a passing truck and cracked the windscreen. It was great to not have to be stressed about being slugged the excess to have that fixed. For a measly maximum $98 ($14 per day) for the entire time you have the car, it’s absolutely worth the piece of mind.

I’ve never had a problem with these guys and can’t recommend them enough.

Picked up a car yesterday. Girl behind the counter needs some serious customer service training. So rude from the get go. Car seems fine. Found the prices a bit misleading on the website. Doubt I will use again.

Rented several cars in Australia and hands down No Birds is the absolute best. Hassle free transactions, show up and get yours keys within minutes. Easy drop off service too. All other car companies have such strenuous procedures, no birds make everything easy and staff are unbelievable. Car was brand new and by far cheaper than competitors. Deposit was only 100 compared to 400 I've paid with everyone else and full no excess insurance cover only 14 pee day. About 34 with everyone else. Couldn't recommend this company highly enough.

When you hire cars to foreigners you need to make sure the can drive and know Australian Road Rules.

Fantastic service, pick up and drop off to the airport. Very nice clean and new cars. Staff are helpful and friendly. Excellent prices much cheaper than the bigger companies, they include insurance and are upfront with all fees (not hidden). Highly recommend using this local company.

Great company easy as, dropped car off last minute before flight and a free bus ride to the Airport only two of us on a 12 seater bus.first time renters.
