Backbeach Cafe & Restaurant

The view was spectacular and the food was good. The staff were friendly but there were just not enough and I found it difficult to get service.
The worst part about the venue is the children ‘s meals. They were tiny. Even my five year old was hungry after her meal.

Service is not up to scratch on arrival. Left waiting on arrival
till we made quiry of person working in another area.the place was not busy

The view and location is incredible, unfortunately the pear muffin was dry and the coffee was terribly burnt, worst coffee I've had in recent memory.

Really disappointed as it's a lovely place to sit.

This should be the No 1 restaurant to visit in Bunbury! Amazing location, above the silky white beach, sitting on a wood deck with excellent louvred sun shelter, and eating delicious WA seafood, is a perfect way to spend a couple of hours! This is a family-run restaurant, where staff excel at friendly customer service. The menu is sourced from local growers, wineries and providers. It was great to see WA Snapper on the menu, instead of the usual barramundi, and the fresh tiger prawns were also sweet and delicious! Great for families, and the menu also offers cheaper kid-friendly meals. Very enjoyable!

Got a breakfast waited 40min and when it come out it was cold. The toast was like it had been way over toasted. I couldn’t eat my breakfast and I just left. My partner had the same problem. I love my big breakfasts and I’m always out looking for the best one. I hope next time when I return and try again they have lifted there game.

Beef burger, sweet potato and fried squid are perfect! Very nice place for family lunch time. So relaxed.

Always enjoy dining here. Whether it's just a cuppa with friends or a full lunch, service and food always great. We dined outside and enjoyed the fresh air. Inside seating is also available. Recommend you treat yourself too.

Amazing food and drink with wonderfully kind staff with phenomenal veiw of the ocean. Highly highly recommended

Been there on a number of occasions. Service with a smile and often enjoyable meals. Today, I had a refreshing tonic juice. Beautiful views and options of indoor or outdoor seating.

Went here for Sunday lunch and ordered the Feta & pomegranate salad with chicken. Should have been called spinach salad as it was literally a bowl of spinach with some pomegranate seeds and one piece of feta. Chicken was tasty though. Might be back but probably not.

Excellent food and atmosphere, the chicken parm was amazing, also the onion rings chips and the burgers are to die for. We where in the area for a wedding and had 4 hours to wait for reception, we stayed here for a few hours, we ate and drank so much we didn't eat much for dinner, sorry John for not eating all our food at the reception lol

Great location spoiled by dirty, gungy and unkept everything. Please sell this joint so someone who cares about service and presentation can take over.

Really bad experience, this was my second visit and I was so looking forward to a yummy lunch and a amazing view. Let me just say don't order the prawn skewers! They where dry, cold and way over cooked when I received them! I tried to eat them but ended up not being able to cope with the tough texture they tasted like they had a plastic skin on them! I spat out my last mouthful on to my plate! And yes I know how uncouth that is.but even the intestinal tract was still left in the prawns! Anyway fast forward to letting our really delightful wait staff know I wasn't going to finish my meal as it was really quite hard to eat, a manager? Came to inform me that the chef had sampled a prawn from my plate. Ummm yuck! And he had advised her that they where just the way they had always cooked them and it was my fault as apparently I had let it sit to long! Then told I had had the dish for 15 minutes! Maybe that's how long it sat on the pass but certainly not how long it sat on my table! Seriously disappointed and embarrassed to be treated like that when all you want is what you have paid for! If this is the way the prawns are done maybe change the menu to reflect the actual dish! Cold dry with the intestinal tract in highly recommended by the chef! It's how we always do them. Two stars only because the wait staff are just so lovely!

Bit of a disaster this place. Nice views to the Ocean, however the service is incredibly S-L-O-W. 20 mins for a coffee, 40 mins for breakfast. I have heard of slow food but this is stretching it.friendly staff.

Wow I had exceptional service and I always do there. I have no complaints only complements. Food is always Devine. Please let staff know they do an amazing job and that's the best customer service I have had. My kids even complemented one staff member and said she was absolutly lovely. I did not get her name but she served my kids milk shakes and gave a little extra. That's what service is all about. Back beach is the best in bunbury and the only place I'll go to spend some extra on myself and family thank you for exceptional service.
