Amazing views off beach! Very good bacon n egg burger.eggs was perfectly cooked.ice katte and tuneric latte made perfectly! Highly recommended

Had the chicken parmigiana, it was a very thin piece of chicken with a thick layer of batter, mine was dry and over cooked

Really stunning location overlooking Bunbury back beach and the Indian Ocean. Reasonably priced but the food is of a much higher standard and quality than you'd expect. I've eaten there a few times now and it's been consistently very good whetheryou're after burger and chips or something more gourmet. You can also bring your dog into the outside area after a walk on the beach, noice!

During a business trip popped in for lunch with a colleague.we both went steak is the way to go so went the surf and turf.
She went porterhouse (same)
They were like leather.she sat there and chewed like hell.mine I didn't bother.waitress came over and saw a whole steak with one cut in it and asked how was it.inedible I said. She did nothing.was also charged $10.00 for a lemon lime and bitters. WOW couldn't believe they just shrugged their shoulders.great view but $90 for two shoes and 2 soft drinks

The person serving at the counter has no people skills. He talked down at me because I made the mistake of ordering a take away coffee from the restaurant counter instead of the outside takeaway window. The coffee was over priced almost $8 for an almond late, and it was not even a barista quality coffee. I think the staff/owner take customers for granted because of the great location of the cafe.
In other instances I had a meal and found the food to be greasy and overpriced for the quality that was served. Limited menu options.

Cannot rate food or service as both a friend and my self walked in then out. Very unfriendly welcome. Being by the beach in the middle of winter you would think you would come into a warming atmosphere instead of the south pole! Needed to rate in order to post one star is way too much

Loved the fish n chips, perfectly cooked fish. My 2 friends enjoyed their meals as well.

We arrived late arvo about half hour before closing yet we still were welcomed and did not feel we were rushed to order our meal. We put our order in quickly anyway then enjoyed the amazing view of the ocean and was able to just relax after a harrowing day we'd just had. To be able to enjoy our meals as well was wonderful. Thank you. We'll be back on our next trip to Bunbury. Highly recommend.

A great venue to sit and watch the ocean, the view is spectacular. Unfortunately there was a particular board (backbeach board) that really let it down. Poorly curated and slapped together with your general supermarket condiments. I feel there was more lettuce than anything else. The scallops were cooked well but the thicker chunks of bacon, though a good flavour, take away from the dish. It should be crispy for texture, this is why pancetta works very well. The arancini was exceptional.

Awesome place for our large group a d the atmosphere was really relaxed with the beach in full view.
The food was good too, except we had a different expectation for the roast pork dish.we thought it would have crackling on it but it didn't.

Place needs a deep clean and learn about flies on uncovered food that is on display. Staff need once smiled chips where nice but the rest poor at best

Saturday lunch was busy-ish however our plates were on our table in no time. The garlic prawns with rice were delectable, the seafood "box" well cooked, not too many chips and value for money. Leaving one star for improvement for a couple of the staff who are a little too direct and borderline dismissive. This does not in any way apply to the fellow who was taking orders.

One of the waitresses was absolutely amazing. Understandably the place is short staffed, but I didn't even get an acknowledgement from 3 different staff to start with (I could even have been told they would be a few minutes or something?) whereas this young girl made everything seem like it was no bother, friendly, welcoming and absolutely amazing.

Lovely lunch, food was fresh and super tasty cocktails were amazing. The gentleman (I assume was the owner) was very accommodating with our fussy needs

Had a last minute brunch plan while returning to Perth from Bunbury this morning with parents, and BackBeach made my brother jealous (as he didn't join us haha). The view, the service, the food, the ambience 100% recommend, must try if you come to Bunbury. They have plenty gluten free and vegan options on the menu. We ordered English Breakfast tea, Dirty Chai with soy milk, Canadian Pancakes, Eggs Benedict, and Thick toast with jam/butter/scrambled eggs and beans. Loved every single bite with the wonderful view of the sea. Thank you Backbeach Cafe.

A gorgeous Cafe on the beach front, Coastal theme inside is amazing and flows onto the outdoor patio area thats looks out onto the beach. Amazing customer service, delicious food came out nice and fast and the BEST coffee I've ever had! My first time there and won't be my last!

Service was absolutely horrendous. So rude. We ordered coffee and that was the worst we’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

Fantastic views … food was ok (they can definitely do some work on the menu) … it’s worth the drive just for the view… especially when sun is setting

Someone recommended this place for breakfast, so we thought we would give it a try. We were with a group of 7, and everyone ordered a different dish. When the food came out, the presentation of every dish was amazing, and everyone really enjoyed their food. While we had reasonably high expectations because of the recommendation, our expectations were definitely exceeded with all of the dishes we had that morning! The drinks were also great - but the stand-out was the Back Beach iced tea - delivered in a tall glass with ice and frozen berries.
