Acclaim Pine Grove Holiday Park

Camped in an ensuite site for a week during the school holidays. Near the pool, quiet and very private. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning next year. Park is old but comfortable and relaxed, very shady sites and away from the crowds.

Quiet and away from the crowds. Amenities are functional and there is a pool. Some may not like it but I think it's great for a caravan. Not sure about the cabins though. A bit pricey for a caravan site at $49 but it is peak period.

Nothing flash about this park, though unit was clean. Probably five Kms from the beach. Not the best location for those who want to be within walking distance to things.

Lots of space, especially at this time of the year but ablutions are old and not very clean. Acclaim needs to spend money on this Park.

The air con was filthy, cobwebs everywhere, floors dirty, mice feces on floor, windows dirty, curtains dirty, white ant infested, and the outside was worse

The person who picked up telephone was very rude. He didn't even listen what I said and just hung up. I am very disappointed.

Friendly staff, the place is pretty noisy with the trucks running into the evening & early in the morning.
It's a bit run down but good for the price.

Booked through booking site. Overcharged for quoted rate and children charged as adults. Manger would not even refund the difference between adult and child rates, let alone amount charged if we didn't stay the night. Staying not his fault. Manager was very rude. I have now read reviews, it appears I am not the first to have issues with the manager.

Wondering whether this discrimination is actually true. Small dogs allowed, certain breeds of big dogs not. If so it is wrong in so many ways

For miserable cold august days, this place was great for the shelter and relative quietness. $15 for an unpowered site was very reasonable, especially not having had a shower for a week after being out bush.
