Acclaim Pine Grove Holiday Park reviews
70Owners not maintaining toilets, not flushing properly, no urinal flush tank at all. 2 office ladies tired of situation. 1 plumber in town does caravan parks? $48/n. Got poor reception. They were not happy
I don't recommend this place at all after the lady on the phone was so incredibly rude. I arrived in Esperance late (about 9 PM) on a very wet evening and asked about accommodation. She replied "do you know what time it is? " and then hung up on me. I was seriously at risk of being trapped out in the cold on a miserable night (fortunately I found a nice place to stay). Absolutely rude and has no business even running such a business, and I sure hope she doesn't treat her family the way she treated me.
Booked in for Christmas period. Never got any confirmation from them. I have booked different property after waiting for couple of weeks.
And now after months they called me for payment. I explained them that I never got confirmation. So, I booked some other property. Staff were so rude and just hung up.
What am I supposed to do if I never got the confirmation email? If they got my email ID wrong it is not my mistake.
The lady was helpful but the place we stayed at is falling apart. It's old and needs a site uplift.
Affordable van park, good location. Thank you to the friendly staff. Had an unpowered spot. Showers need updating!
Cabins as expected but disappointed pool was closed.need to change advertising the pool or at least specify that is closed when booking
Arrived to a powered site that was faulty, ended up needing to put lead to another site. Luckily we had an extension
Amenities limited and need to to be updated, Men's were in a extremely poor state
All we could smell was sewage!
Swimming pool out of action
Travel noise high but you can live with that
This camping ground needs a lot love and money.
Priced to high for what you get
Only recommend if there is no where else to stay
Not the most modern facilities but absolutely wonderful service and friendly people. Nothing was too hard and willing to find us a space no matter how busy it is!
I’m trying to write a review that is not negative as the staff are extremely accommodating and very helpful, but unfortunately the site and facilities are dated, need TLC and upgrading.
This park is tired and run down, great managers there, however they charge top dollar for a site and the park doesn't have a dump point for vans. There is a public one 3klm away. The washing machines we had to run our clothes through 2 washes to clean them so they need replacement. We didn't realise when we checked in that your on the main road to the boat Harbour and grain yards, so there is a constant stream of road trains 24/7
Wynn is the kindest person I think I had the pleasure to meet whilst in Esperance. None would allow 1 night booking but was no trouble for this wonderful manager. Keep her and look after her, she is a treasure and made the stay so much better
We have been here for over a week now, and have had nothing but positive experiences.
Gary and Lyn are wonderful, helpful and great Managers.
We had a negative experience (customer service specific) at the Esperance RAC the week previous, ended up breaking down on the Nullarbor and was towed back to Acclaim, which was a real blessing for us.
If you prefer a relaxed, quiet, grassy place to stay, with exceptional customer service, I'd recommend Acclaim Esperance 100%.
Park reletivly clean. Staff ok on check in. Pool area ok.
Only 2 female toilets and 1 showers same as male.
1 female toilet out of order over 24 hours (leave today so not sure when will be fixed.)
Thick dust on exhaust fans, ppl might mop after if was fresh clean water in mop. Not just covering the bottom and filthy. No where to put stuff in shower.
We were put in front of sewage pen, smelt grossly.
If i was staying again ask to be away from the road. Its so noisy and main highway for trucks. Would only ever be a 1 night of was passing through
What a great caravan park, you have the pleasure of the bush settings. You don’t pay a arm and leg for a ensuite site, it’s the only caravan park in Esperance with ensuite sites. Great staff, friendly atmosphere, pool is nice and clean. Other guests enjoyed the camp kitchen. Would definitely stay hear again. I give it a 5 star rating.
The actual camp sites are all very big and level plus the pool isn't half bad. The staff are very friendly too. The main issue is the bathrooms are very gross full of bugs and mold. The camp kitchen didn't have a fridge or even electricity so the light didn't work. A slight lingering smell around the camp site. Maybe if it was a little cheaper I might had let it slide
Nice caravan Park. Got new management after we were here last 4 years ago. That's great.
Enjoying our time here.
Well it was a good stay here pine Grove with the afrikan feels as we woke up with the owls oooing and my mate pooing, but he wasn't the only gas I smelt, our old mate kiwi was cooking up a good feed with bacon and eggs which really helped the smell of the place, anyway it wasnt just the smell but the sights of this place which made it so good, there was some left over Vs and pumpkin on the floor for a midnight snack attack which my mate shaq loved. The toilets could be an improvement as I had no where to put my clothes considering the floor was always wet and dirty and the toilet didn't look like it had been cleaned in atleast a decade but hey I'm sure we just added to the colour considering my mate had the runs, physically and mentally because I saw him go for a few shirtless runs in the midnight but hey this review isn't about him, it was all round an alright place, but the place was dirtier than Chris's foot when he climbed up Frenchman peak and thats saying something. PS. We left a surfboard for anyone who wants it.
Great location. Great price compared to other expensive parks. Good cell phone reception. Great space if you're staying in the unpowered site. Good shade and flat ground. Just a walk to the toilets/showers.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin for about a week. It was clean and had enough room for 3 kids 1 infant and 2 adults. The kids loved the pool. We would stay here again. The owners were very helpful and friendly.
The toilet had awful brown stain. 2 mice scampered back and forth while we were watching TV. We understand that we were in a caravan park but having 2 mice for company was not what we expected as we did pay close to $170 per night. I must say though, the kitchen utensils and fridge were relatively new.
