Acclaim Pine Grove Holiday Park reviews
70Not sure why there are so many 1 star reviews. Staff were friendly and helpful, good shade and good showers near the powered sites. There’s also good phone signal. Nice location as well
We really enjoyed our stay here. The owners were absolutely lovely and so helpful and welcoming. They really went out of their way for us which was greatly appreciated. The camp sites are nestled in the back of the park and surrounded by trees. I do agree that the amenities might need a bit of an upgrade but they were enough for what we were after, it is camping after all so you can’t expect resort standard amenities. Thanks again!
We stayed in a cabin. Unfortunately, the cabin smelled like wee throughout and significantly bad in the main room. Therefore, the whole place was very u pleasant to be in. The overall cleaniness was not great either.
Unfortunately I cannot give zero stars but that is what this deserves.
Run down, poorly maintained, disgusting front camp kitchen near the pool. Cabins 59 & 60 were a disgrace.
Book elsewhere is my suggestion.
Quiet, green and clean, there is a homy atmosphere to this place. The couple managing the park are good people, helpful, caring and working hard for our comfort! We were there twice, first at a powered site, second time at a powered site with ensuite. Incredibly comfortable. We'll be back!
Huge unpowered sites and very helpful staff. Good location for the price. Adequate facilities, but I understand it's recently come under new management so should improve with some time.
This is a piece of bushy caravan peace. Loved our stay. It is in the process of being upgraded but even so love it here. Will stay again.
We found the park beautiful, located in a nice area. The accommodation is really old and needs some attention. ALL the taps were leaking, including kitchen, bathroom and laundry. The floor was not really clean at all, and you could notice the built-up of dirt over the years. Toilet flushes were not working properly for both units, and had to flush a few times until it cleans the toilet to some extent. We were struggling to close the old wooden sliding doors. The place doesn’t smell good due to the water quality and wastewater drainages.
Really enjoyed our stay. Nice big sites in a rustic almost bush setting with lots of trees. Nice laid back caravan park. Still a bit of work to do but managers are getting there.
Does the trick
Has camp kitchen, powered and unpowered sites, sites with private bathrooms
Good customer service. We had to move to a powered site and it wasn't much fuss.
Trees all around, doesn't feel crammed.
Next to main road, so a bit noisy if your camp is closest to the road, otherwise it's fine.
It's clean enough, not sterile. Our first site had random bits of garbage around us. So it didn't feel as comfortable. But overall, it's good for a night or two.
Prices are fair. I'd stay here again for sure!
Some of the reviews on here must be made up it was the dirtiest place I have been in the smell from inside the building was horrendous some of the windows wouldn't open and you couldn't see out of them. The cooker and the bbq had never been cleaned the stove was rusted the stains on the carpet I have no idea the toilet area wasn't suitable for animals I have complained and complained to management I have had no reply I lost my money for the room and had to go and stay elsewhere
Very clean cabin. Priced well. Very comfortable, staff are very friendly and welcoming. Good place to stay in. Close to shopping centre. Highly recommended. Merna's review.
Had a great experience. The staff were friendly and helpful always willing to go the extra mile. Bathroom was cleaned twice daily, pool daily. They are pet friendly so had a great time with my dog. Highly recommend this place.
Cleaning of the unit was an absolute shambles, and i was charged 60$ more when I had to re- book due to Covid which I don't think is fair give the circumstaces.
Very quiet and nice spot to stay, the price is really good as well.
Big thanks to the managers, they were really welcoming and friendly
This could be a nice but always noisy park. The park has all the bones needed to be very nice but is run down. The pool was green despite appearing clean. It just needed a good dose of chlorine or a working filtration system. The grounds are shady but it all needs a good trim, mulching etc. The toilet/shower block functions but that is all. It is old, tired and in general dirty. As stated it has the bones to be great but its proximity to the main road in an industrial area means trucks passing day and night. Staff were nice but it appears the 'owners' are not spending any money on maintenance. Good for a short stay or overnighter.
This place is in new management thank f.as the old owner failed in my eyes.payed dearly for average accommodation.give this place a couple of seasons to repair and renew
We booked 3 powered site for five nights via the Esperance Visitors centre. Driving from Perth through Merredin, Kalgoorlie & Norseman we had pretty basic expectations and was looking forward to spending the time in Esperance. We were shocked by the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the Park. Firstly our three large motor homes were on gravel and was quite a job driving to the allocated area. The Pool was dirty with visible brown ring around the top. The laundry had only one machine working with one dryer and was disgusting. An old toilet bowl used as a cleaners trough. The toilets were dirty and this was around 3pm when we checked in. There was.some effort to clean however the usage was high and the bore water mixed with dirty mops to clean did not help. The gardens were clean and rubbish collected. The water smelled so bad we had to use to fill up the tanks. The grey water disposal drain had to be cleaned by us as it was covered with sand and weeds. The laundry stunk and not cleaned for the 4 nights we were there. There was a dirty trough marked for baby bath. There was no kids play ground. One set of swings on sandy ground which was broken. The kitchen was shocking. Completely false advertising. We left a day early as we could not handle the place. The host couple were not friendly and welcoming. I would suggest some urgent work to be done with the facilities as Esperance needs the Park for the season. The location was great however that's where is stopped. We hope by our comments the council and visitors centre will impose a better standard for their visitors as we don't live in a third work country.
If I could give them 0 stars I would.
Our trip had to be cancelled due to changing COVID restrictions. When I called to speak to Pine Grove to find out more information regarding the cancellation, the staff was incredibly rude and proceeded to hang up on me. When I contact the management team to let them know of my experience, I was told that me being hung up on was their staff "trying their very best".
Would not recommend this place due to few safety/maintenance issues including blocked waste water drainage, static in the ensuite shower taps. No action being taken during our stay. Ensuites not clean at all. Regular maintenance and cleaning required.
