Zonzo Estate Yarra Valley

One of the poorest spots I’ve been to, particularly for an acclaimed restaurant.

Two drinks took half an hour to arrive. Food (just pizzas) took well over an hour.

The place is run by teenagers, whom I feel for. They are given no direction, running around like stressed headless chickens. They told us the reason the food is delayed is because the “management has no idea”.

Well there was no management to be seen!

Oh my Gosh!

Never again.

The best pizza I’ve had!
This alone deserves the 5 star rating.

But would not recommend the slow cooked lamb, it was dry and tasteless.

Awesome place to sit outside on a nice day and enjoy really nice pizza and dips. Drinks menu could be expanded but otherwise great place and nice staff.

Beautiful winery and the food was not only delicious but there was an abundance of it. Service was great however we were not told that they were closing early for a private function. All worked out in the end as we ended up at another amazing venue! Zonzo is a great place for a large group event!

Not that hard, to put the sign up to notify that you're closing earlier. We went there on a weekend, finally found parking, made my way to the restaurant just to find out- when asking for table, that they're closing in 30 min. Fail.

Had our wedding at Zonzo and it was absolutely incredible. The staff are friendly, the food and wine and absolutely incredible. My husband and I had the most wonderful day of our lives. Couldn't recommend more. Thank you Zonzo

It was super busy and they got us a nice little table, served promptly despite the rush of people, staff friendly and great value for money. Essentially a pizza place with their own great wine. Lovely!

Nice view and atmosphere with friendly service. But the pizza was inedible, the first bite is just like eating charcoal as the pizza base is full of charcoal underneath. The funny part is the staff said the charcoal is safe to eat. Hopefully the chef or the kitchen hand clean the oven regularly. I paid for pizza not for the extra charcoal all over.

Great food and wine! The perfect touch would be if they had some kids activities (pencils, coloring paper) or maybe something for the kids to play with instead of that lemonade stand (eg. Cubby house)

Such a great day at Zonzo, organised for a group of 30 to come and they we’re so accommodating to dietary requirements, so patient and went above and beyond in customer service. We will be back!

On a sunny Spring day Zonzo is a relaxing place to have lunch overlooking the vineyards. Classic Italian food complimented with fantastic wines.

Always perfect, from the food to the wine to the surrounds. No matter the weather you’ve gotta love a visit to Zonzo Estate.

Good food in one of the most disorganised places we have ever been. 4 of our group ordered pizzas which arrived one at a time but the classic was that the lamb dish for which there was supposed to be a 20 minute wait came out before the pizzas!
The waitress who seemed to be in charge did a great job trying to plug holes made by other staff who clearly had no idea what they were doing.
Really disappointing experience.

I always enjoy spending time at Zonzo. The view is spectacular and the recently built Cappella is stunning! Every time I go, the conversation (and wine!) flows, everyone feels relaxed and happily full. I particularly like the potato pizza. A highly recommended venue for lots of different occasions!

Despite how busy Zonzo was, service was not compromised. An absolute credit to the team at Zonzo! We will be back for some more great food and wine!

It was time to organise our annual family catch up and Zonzo was recommended to us. I am so glad it was! We indulged in the Zonzo Feast Menu for $50 per head. You get such a lovely spread of food and we all left so so full. It was a perfect opportunity to try a variety of their dishes. The antipasto was a great selection, the pizzas were honestly some of the best wood fired pizza I've tried (I would recommend the porcini or b.patate). The slow cooked roast lamb followed and just melted in your mouth. My mother in law is gf and a fussy eater and even she mentioned it was the best gluten free pizza she has had. We will be back again for all of our larger bookings and family functions.

Beautiful food, great wine and a sensational setting. One of those rare places that keeps you coming back.

I went here over the weekend, and I had a great time. The guy at the front door was very friendly, and the young lady that serviced me was helpful and polite when came picking meals from the menu, very well and knowledgeable staff. The food and service was fabulous. Defiantly a hot spot in the Yarra valley. I will came back for sure.

The food and service was amazing. The views are breath taking. The only downside is the noise of other quests travelling, i could not here when the people on my table spoke to me. The place was full but extremely noisey.
