Zonzo Estate Yarra Valley

Food was quite good. Plenty of choice for pizza.approx $15 for an entree and $27 for a main. Service on the day we went was meh.

Such an absolutely incredible venue to work with! Zonzo Estate have one of the most amazing teams, and we love each and every experience spent at this venue. The views themselves are absolutely beautiful, and this space provides a perfect backdrop for our artists (who loooove performing here). We can’t wait for the next time!

I was invited to Zonzo for lunch to celebrate a birthday. The location cannot be faulted with the main restaurant strategically positioned to take advantage of the beautiful Yarra Valley rolling hills. The restaurant is exceptional with an inviting warm open fire and rustic decor. Unfortunately for me, this is where the positives end.

The main dining room reminded me of a boarding school dining hall with long tables to seat patrons. You share a table with strangers which means you simply cannot engage in a private or intimate conversation. It also raises concerns over the lack of safe social distancing. The tables themselves are too high and the chairs too low to offer a comfortable seating position.

This might be acceptable for functions but certainly not for every day dining.

The service was very good but it took 45 minutes for my group's food to be served at our section of the table. I ordered a Napoletana pizza which looked fine on the plate but was bordering on cold with the first bite. And Green non-pitted olives on a pizza? No, no, no and no!

In my opinion the food is slightly over priced for what it is and I feel genuinely sorry for the person in my group who paid the bill.

This was a once off for me and I won't be returning to Zonzo. I'm sorry to say that I cannot recommend it as a restaurant of choice based on my disappointng experience today.

Amazing scenery, fantastic customer service, we had a very good time in general! Was a lovely spot for lunch and catchup with friends.

I had the Bellicini recommended by the waiter and it was really good! Slightly sweet, and the fruity flavour was really refreshing!

Food presentation was excellent! Was such a nice spread! Taste was average but pricing was reasonable. Would recommend this place!

We love Zonzos! Friendly professional service, delicious food and gorgeous surrounds. Pizza and antipasto was delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

I had the delight of spending my son in laws birthday at Zonzos Estate. The food was nearly as amazing as the beautiful view and the wine was delicious. Our waiter Cam was very friendly and understanding when some of our family had food allergies and didn't mention them before they had ordered. Another waitress even remade a pizza free of charge when my niece forgot to let the staff know she was allergic to gluten. I Will be recommending Zonzos to friends and family!

Beautiful location and views of the hills and see kangaroos. The food was ok but putting olives on pizza with pips in it ridiculous

There is a reason Zonzo is so popular! At Polka Dot Wedding, we've worked with this team for a number of years to market their weddings and they always receive rave reviews from couples. They know what they're doing when it comes to food and events and are always on top of every idea we throw at them!

Personally. I was lucky enough to get a walk in table for lunch at Zonzo and loved every moment. Not only did they fit us in, but they beautifully catered to our dietary requirements. The multiple course feast absolutely decadent and delicious, the wait staff friendly & accommodating, The meal did everything to cement the reasons why this place always gets such rave reviews.

I had a fantastic experience with Zonzo Estate!

I recently organised lunch for a large group (approx 35). During the organisation process, my numbers kept changing and I think I called about 8 times to alter the booking. Every time, the staff were friendly and happy to accommodate my needs. I even changed the date (and then changed it back) as restrictions in Melbourne changed and there was never mention of a penalty fee for these changes.

On the day, the location, food and staff were also excellent. The reasonably priced set menu was way more food than we could eat but they were happy to provide us containers so we could take home the leftovers.

Very disappointing. We had lunch there today but will not return or recommend to anyone. The pizza was the absolute worst I've ever had. Worse than the pizza was the attitude of the manager, who displayed zero remorse or care about my feedback.

4.5 stars. The venue is beautiful, the wait staff are friendly and attentive and the food delicious. Highly recommend and will be going back again.

Really enjoyed our lunch experience at Zonzo. They feed you well! Roast was delicious and really enjoyed their new Scoperta wine range. Will be booking again soon.

Our group enjoyed our visit for lunch so much we had to be politely asked to leave so they could reset for dinner!

Beautiful place with amazing view! We had the Italian feast, the food was ok, I was expecting better. We had the Pinot noir and was very nice. Would come back for a wine tasting

We have been to Zonzo before, We had lunch on Friday and once again the quality of the food was top class, the service was great. Such a wonderful setting and gorgeous views form the restaurant. Highly recommend a trip if your in the area.

Pizza is divine, quantity of quality of produce used is to a high standard (which is to be expected for the cost of $26 per). Beautiful interior and exterior architecture!

Food was good and wine excellent. Location was very pretty location. Only downside was it was very busy so lost the 'cozy' atmosphere. However the service was very efficient.

I recently attended a hens party lunch here.
The food was delicious the wine list had a great selection to choose from.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
As we had a large group we were out in a barn area with many other large groups, I personally found this way too loud I felt like I had to shout just to converse with the person on the opposite side of the table to me.
I was a little disappointed the wine list mentioned they sold Dom Perignon, I went to purchase this and was told they haven’t restocked since they sold out was frustrating, however they were able to look after me with with a discount on the Cristal for the inconvenience.

On Sunday 23rd - the service in the restaurant was more than disappointing- slow, inattentive and forgot to bring drinks ordered even after being reminded 3times. Antipasto platter - not good value. Needs improvement to get us to return.
