Zonzo Estate Yarra Valley

Fantastic lunch here at Zonzo Winery in the outdoor seating area with a view to die for: vineyards with mountains in the distance. Staff were incredible - I would have to say beautifully trained, professional but also discreetly friendly. Service lifts Zonzo Winery above most others in the Yarra Valley. We enjoyed a mid week 3 course lunch & glass of rose via a gift given to us at Xmas. Entree Arcini balls, anti pasta, pizza from wood fire oven & followed by slow cooked lamb & salad. WOW! Everything was perfect as we celebrated our wedding anniversary at Zonzo

To celebrate my sisters birthday, we came here due to the good reviews however the food was just okay, the service and atmosphere was very good but the food was lacking

I have been coming here for years. The main dining room is incredibly loud. Why not put up some acoustic panels? It was a lovely day and they should have opened the doors. Would have helped with the noise! The staff were hard to catch and the woman who gave us the bill was incredibly rude and told us to leave as they were closing at 3pm. No one had told us that or gave us any warning. The food is good, but god the wine is terrible. Instant headache. Please have some other wine on the menu.

We recently got married at Zonzo and cannot emphasise enough how perfect, joyous and magical our day was. In the whole lead up Emma and the team at Zonzo were so helpful, providing a wedding preparation checklist, timely reminders and recommended suppliers. It really made the whole planning process as stress-free as possible. On the day, the atmosphere, food and whole vibe was just incredible. The staff were so attentive (thank you especially to Sal) and our guests could not stop singing their praises. We have received countless comments from guests about how it was the best wedding they have been to!

Booked lunch for a large group of 20. Service was horrible and we were not treated very hospitably. Made to pay before we ate even though i had prepaid a deposit. Food was cold and flavorless. Upon our 2-hour booking coming to an end, we were told we had to leave and were not able to sit on tables outside even though there were 5 tables available. Restuarant also kept an additional $20 from my deposit to which i did not receive additional food or beverage with. Atmosphere was great however on the whole, very disappointed and will not be returning.

Nice place, quite busy at lunch make sure to have reservation. Indoor seating is cozy but too noisy, outdoors is much better if weather permits. Order Pizza, slow cooked lamb and buratta (is it very odd that they charge you extra for some bread). Good in general was tasty and good quality yet the slow cooked lamb lack some flavoring or spices. Their wine is just fine, nothing too special.

My Wife and I dined at Zonzo Estate after hearing so much amazing feedback. The place itself is simply stunning I must say. The service was amazing and our waiter although definitely new to the industry was extremely helpful and very hospitable. The food Pizzas 10 out of 10! We also tried the Arancini, Polpette and Burrata. The Arancini and Polpette were ok, the Burrata was good. All in all this place is still amazing and I would recommend it for a Pizza and Wine day or night in the simply breathtaking Yarra Valley. With the wine side of things I tried 4 different varieties my personal favourite was the Sangiovese (I purchased one of these for home) followed by the Shiraz Reserve. Cab Sav was nice over dinner but honestly the Sangiovese was remarkable. All in all I recommend Zonzo Estate for a weekend away or Pizza and Vino.

Zonzo is a terrific winery estate in the Yarra Valley. Last Christmas they released this super delicious panettone gin. Perfect for the festive season.

Thoroughly recommend Zonzo Estate, we recently attended our friends wedding ceremony and reception here. It's an absolutely stunning venue, with a picturesque view of the surrounding vineyard and farm land. The food was excellent and brought out in abundance, and the kitchen were able to cater to all dietary requirements! Thanks for having us Zonzo!

I surprised my mum for her birthday by bringing her to Zonzo winery! It was my first time visiting and I was amazed with the relaxing scenery, paired with delicious food. All of the staff who we came in contact with were very lovely. Highly recommend)

Just checked out Zonzo Estate Yarra Valley and it was a treat for the senses! The view was breathtaking and the weather was perfect. The food was delicious and there was plenty to go around. My only complaint was that our reservation was from 11-1 and we felt like we were on a bit of a time crunch. But all in all, a fantastic spot for lunch with a stunning view. 4 stars from me!

The setting was lovely, the food was average, the service was mediocre. After lunch, we enjoyed the view from the lawn with our families, but we were refused water as they were "setting up for a wedding". We had just spent over $1,000 on lunch. We were only offered the opportunity to buy bottles of wine. After robust discussion, we were charged $16 for 6 paper cups filled with mineral water. Unconscionable.

We recently had our wedding at Zonzo Estate and it was the most perfect wedding. From booking our wedding, the wedding coordination staff were so helpful. They answered a million of my questions in the lead up of the day. On the wedding day all staff were professional, attentive and so helpful. They worked so hard to ensure our day ran smoothly and on time. This venue has everything you need for a dream wedding. I already can't wait to go back!

I can't speak too highly of all the staff and especially of Sal for all the attention, service and quality food and drink that was provided at my daughters and son in laws wedding.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Zonzo as a wedding venue or even just a must visit winery in the Yarra Valley!

The whole team at Zonzo made our wedding day the most incredible day we could’ve asked for. Everything was on point, from the set up, food, drinks and staff.

In the lead up to the wedding, Emma the wedding coordinator was amazing. Emails were answered extremely prompt and she was always willing to assist or advise with anything we requested.

On the day, Salvatore was INCREDIBLE; we cannot thank him enough for everything he did to make the day go so smoothly! From putting in my veil, sewing/pinning my dress after a mishap and making sure everyone was fed, had a drink in hand and having a bloody good time! Sal honestly took our night to the next level; he went above and beyond in every way possible.

The food was one of the first selling points for us picking Zonzo as our wedding venue and it was even better on the day. If you’re after great tasting food, with a generous serving (where no one will go home hungry) - this is exactly what you’ll get at Zonzo. Highly recommend!

My husband and I would highly recommend Zonzo for a wedding venue! We had an incredible experience and couldn’t be more thankful that we had our wedding at Zonzo.

A special mention to Emma, one of the wedding coordinators, who was very responsive in her communication and helpful in the lead up to the wedding. And to Sal who did an amazing job on the evening with coordinating the night and ensuring it went smoothly.

Overall, the staff were highly professional, approachable and attentive. Many guests commented on the amazing service - no one went without a drink in hand.

We had the best time!

Very disappointing! RUDE! Stay away! Management very rude & food portions are smaller than ever. The beautiful setting does not make up for the unpleasant & impolite manners of the waitress & the manager. The set menu is expensive compared to the portions, not substantial as it once was. It seems they favor wedding parties more than local and loyal patrons & could use some education around the importance of customer satisfaction through their dining experience & how the consequences of unhappy customers impact their establishment.

Had a spectacular three course lunch here. Food and service were both top notch. Wine was also great. We had antipasto, a pizza & roast lamb and a salad. Everything about this vineyard is spot on. Highly recommend we will def return. We bought a couple of bottles of wine as well. The packaging was also stunning. Such lovely views and scenery as well. All food was perfect. The antipasto had the best giant Italian olives and pickled onions.
