Willow Grove Duck Inn

Extremely disappointing experience. We waited over an hour for our meals with three very hungry children. When meals finally arrived, instead of the fish & chips I ordered & paid for, a kids fish & chips was served. The chicken risotto I ordered was terrible - tasteless & dished up in a puddle of oil. Kids meals included an ice cream with topping which took another half hour to be served after requested. Will never visit again.

Very unhappy. Not clean, the waitresses untrained, the music way way too laud. All in all a waist of my money.

My husband said his gluten free pizza was amazing. I have to agree. I kept questioning whether it was gluten free but an hour later he still feels well. Thank you.

Great meal, great premises, great company, end of year celebration, lived up to its name in my book.

Out exploring the area, and decided to have lunch here. The actual place is pleasant, but sadly that's where the positive feedback ends.
We were seated and given menus (which turned out to be the incorrect menus for lunch). We sat and waited for a lengthy time, as we saw another couple receiving table service. However, no one came to our table.

I went to the bar to ask if we ordered there, and was told that someone would come to us, which happened immediately.
It was the longest we have ever waited for a meal (an hour and twenty minutes from when we arrived).

Our food was overcooked, dry and minimal.
All in all, a very disappointing experience. Needless to say, we won't be returning, nor recommending it to anyone else.

Loved the food, we had a table of 11 and we all had great meals. Staff friendly and enjoyed a laugh with us.
I highly recommend the Willow Duck Inn.

Although our host was very friendly and pleasant, his shirt was filthy.
We had booked in some time ago for a table of 7, yet when we asked for vegetables instead of rice- they didn't have any. When we asked for cream instead of icecream- again they didn't have any. They did not have everything that was on the menu either.
The excuse was this it was too early in the week to have all their supplies, yet this was on a Wednesday! And again- they knew we were coming.
Two of us asked for weak coffee, and we got the dregs of left over coffee pods- and it tasted awful
Disappointing really, as our group meets every 3 months- we won't be going back there again.

The service was really good! The entree was really yummy, but the main could have been bigger for the price. The owner is very friendly and the waiter was very attentive. The dessert was beautiful! Overall I had a good experience and I would go back.

Fairly decent, came here on a hot day last month.racial stranger behind the busser didn't really look like he knew what was up though. Overall I enjoyed my time here

Great pub food is excellent service excellent great place to go for lunch open for lunch Wednesday till Sunday. Take a trip up to Blue Rock dam fishing picnic bbq supplied.

Great place to eat and meet - parma's were great, veggies were hot, staff were really pleasant - we'll definitely be going back

Excellent service and delicious food. We sat in the outdoor area and enjoyed a lovely sunny day at a terrific local venue.
Supporting local doesn't just mean within your town. There are many venues just a short drive that would welcome your patronage and have a lot to offer.
Give these consideration if you're planning an afternoon outing. You may be pleasantly surprised

Awesome sitting here in the beer garden under the trees, pizza was excellent and the beer is cold, fantastic service

I had a standard parma with veggies, was disappointed with the meal, was looking forward to having my meal only for them to bring out two serving of veggies asparagus and a bit of carrot and the smallest parma I've ever had. Staff were very friendly, I'll give them another try and only hope it improves

This place has so much potential! Unfortunately our visit today could have been better, the waiters and waitresses are inexperienced and the table service was quite poor. Food was expensive for the quality, and drinks are pricey too. The atmosphere is lovely, although ambient music while diners eat would not go astray.

Beyond expectation. We ordered kid's cheese burger and pulled pork burger. They were much better than expected. Price was reasonable, service was impeccable. Good work, chefs!
