Absolutely fantastic food! Large meals.
Ordered nuggets and veg for little man and the veg were fantastic, real fresh veg and lots! So impressed. Good dessert. Free drink with hotel stay and little starter brekky pack. Hotel was clean and comfortable! Just noisy from road.
Would return.

Pleasantly surprised. Waltzing Matilda wasn't our first dinner choice but as the place we wanted to go had no space we ended up here. It was spacious, a friendly atmosphere, good prices and not too noisy. A good place to catch up with our friends. We went on Tuesday and had buy one, get one free option which was great. I had a scotch fillet steak with pepper sauce which I enjoyed. My husband had a chicken parmagana. We were both happy with our meals and the value of the two for one deal. We would go back on tuesday night again for this deal.

This place used to be good. But last time we went, we noticed that there were very few customers. The hotel was badly understaffed. The food was really poor, my kids wouldn't eat it. My wife ordered the chicken kiev special and it was completely dry. The kids entertainer spent the first hour chatting to people at a table. It's as though they've decided to do everything as cheaply as possible to make more money. That or they've just given up. It's a shame. The number of decent pubs around Melbourne is diminishing every year.

I guess I had a bad room. Mine room was 8 which was pretty far from the bar so you would get very little to no wi-fi at all, so you would have to go to the bar with no outlet. The bathroom drain was so clog water would flood everywhere to the toilet. They would either have no water to stock up on or forget. The back would bang back and forth a lot, so you would have to roll a small piece of paper up and put it between the cracks to prevent the banging noise. The worst part is I am from America and with the overlay to get here was 20 hours + as soon as I arrived it was 8: 30 am and in the sports bar is the receptionist desk which is close till 10 am, but even then I can check into my room till 2 pm. I had to pay extra just to get into my room from the flight other hotels didn't do this, but I guess it's a good way to make money
