Waltzing Matilda Hotel

Haven't been there for years. The food was yummy and served hot. The waiter was very friendly, also the man on the bar. Will return.

Disappointed. My room was great but the bathroom was terrible. The floors on an angle so it kept overflowing. Couldn't shower my newborn as it wasnt safe.

Aman was amazing with his service & knowledge about the local night scene

Lovely dinner for two.then a good win on the pokies. Staff are friendly. We will come back. 10 out of 10.

I love this place. The food is fantastic and they have hotels there. The prices are reasonable aswell.

What can I say. We have to do what we have to do. To keep another out break. I imagine staff are stressed all the time, over making sure, as humans we do the right bloody thing! Rich or poor.

Great location for a pot of beer and chicken parmigiana.has live sports to watch and pokie machine to play too

I had flathead tales, cold, my husband had spaghetti Bolognese warm, generous serves but cold or Luke warm.

Our family stayed at the motel Friday night, we were welcomed at reception by a lovely
lady Courtney, quick fast check-in the rooms had everything we needed. She mentioned kids eat free with entertainment & booked us in for dinner, the kids play area is fantastic! It was busy, the food was delicious & not a long wait. We met with her again serving behind the bar. Amazing, friendly service she was the highlight of our night! The staff looked happy, they were attentive & it was just a wonderful experience all round

It was ok place.bit noisy due to Springvale road next to. Staff was not the friendliest.inside looks grand compared to outside.

Unprofessional customer service

We had dinner at your restaurant on 20/9 Friday, it’s a kids’ eat free night.

I have the entertainment book voucher which provides one complimentary main course when I purchase another, this is a book that I have paid to get the discount.

I ordered 2 adult meals and 2 kids meal, I’m charged the total of $44 with no free kids’ meal at all.

I am not sure how this works, if someone without the entertainment book voucher order a main course they get a kids meal for free, but I get no kids meal for free at all when I paid for 1 main course.

I was told your system cannot accept 2 discounts in one transaction, but that is not my problem, I did not get the entertainment book voucher for free, and I should be entitled for 1 free kids meal when I paid for an adult meal.

An elderly lady named Carolyn, your floor supervisor told me to ‘READ THE VOUCHER’, I was trying to explain to her the situation but she kept talking over me. This is unacceptable customer service and extremely unprofessional - I suggest she be educated on customer service.

Had no complaints, fairly clean bed was mad to sleep in, needed a toaster an microwave and the shower needs a door to stop the overflow of water spilling bout but done the job

Food was right on point, service was fast, we were treated with respect & a warm welcoming smile A nice place to meet with family & friends

Check in was a breeze but that’s where it ended showers always change temperature to where you could be cold then next second your being burnt, beds where comfy enough but getting a good night sleep with the amount of noice coming from the people exiting the club at all hours of the night would definitely not recommend

Friendly staff great food. Pity the floor is uneven in places and a real trip hazard. My son loved play area and the TV with abc kids playing

Terrible service! Seems typical of ALH venues. This one is another level of bad! Often don't honor the specials advertised. They use excuses like it must have finished at the end of the month. Even though it's the last day of the month. Then they tear the special off the single printed page.

Staff were lovely meals were great and great value, room was spacious and clean its the second time ive stayed here with my 3 grandkids and will definitely be back again.

Very rough and rude tone of voice waiter.went in there to have lunch and produced a shop-a-docket and basically could not order anything from the right side of the menu wanted to order a steak and refused. But on the docket shows a steak I mention to her. But told me that's our policy no steaks so we all walked out will never go there again
