Volks Affair

I have booked a gear linkage and thermostat repair job my 1996 vw golf and so far have been extremely impressed with the professional and knowledgeable staff at volks affair. Having some car knowledge myself and having done research about the requirements for these 2 jobs I must say the volks affair team knew exactly how long the job should take and how much the job is going to cost and are very very competitive price. I don't usually leave reviews but oh I am so impressed with how great the service is here. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating while you wait.

Will update the outcome when the car is finished but I must say I have full trust in their workmanship from the moment I first spoke with volks affair team:)

Repairs to my gear linkage and thermostat issue have been carried out to top notch quality! Genuinely 10/10 job!

Feels like a brand new car. Gears are solid and shifts same as the day it came out of the factory!
The thermostat issue that the team at volks affair easily diagnosed and repaired at my request has solved the temperature gauge fluctuations and car operates at optimal temperature as it should now.

I have been a customer at Volks Affair since 1998. I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my 2 Kombi's. One of my Kombi's is 40 years old and I get Volks Affair to service it before I go on a long outback road trip. Since 2013 I have clocked up 18,000 kms in the outback and haven't had any mechanical trouble at all thanks to Volks Affair. I wouldn't go to any other mechanic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I took my 2000 Beetle in for a second opinion after a failed roadworthy certificate from somewhere else. The staff were very efficient and transparent about the repairs that needed to be done and I didn't feel pressured to commit like I had at other places. I was really happy with the customer service and found the pricing honest and reliable. I ended up having Volks Affair do the repairs and am very happy with the results and the timely turnaround. I will be returning for future servicing and repairs.

A professional company that give me confidence that they do the right thing and correctly service and maintain my van. They have the knowledge to get things done efficiently, with decent parts.

Originally was quoted an outlandish amount for repairs on my Golf by a competitor, the guys at Volks Affair looked at my vehicle and knocked off a significant amount giving me a huge saving. The car is in great condition, and I have felt well looked after by the team. Great work Volks Affair - will definitely be coming back!

The team at Volks Affair did an amazing job with my Volkswagen Passat CC. It was a complete transmission overhaul and Matt did a great job trying to diagnose the issue, find second hand (cheaper) alternatives and was very communicative and forthcoming with information. I also had a Roadworthy Certificate completed, and cannot recommend their services more. The official Volkswagen Service and Repair guys are a complete rip-off in comparison. Thank you Volks Affair!

Seem honest and know European cars. Friendly. Reasonable in cost. Give 'em a go. You might be pleasantly surprised.
