Purchased a 2018 Golf recently and wanted its first service to be done by a team specialising in European cars. After a bit of searching online it sounded like Volks Affair had some strong recommendations. I sent an email enquiry which was promptly answered, with the car booked in just a few days later.
I mentioned when I dropped off the car that I wanted to upgrade the brake pads to ceramic because I was forever cleaning brake dust off my wheels. The guys called me with a full run down of the costs involved and parts required before commencing any further.
Picked up the car later that day and couldn’t be happier!

Volks Affair were excellent. We had a couple of challenging problems, one, an overheating issue, which had been around for over a year but had not been fixed, despite a few trips to the garage. The other was removing the rear air conditioning/heating unit from a transporter van. They were helpful, efficient, polite and the level of service and quality of work were very impressive. We will be taking all our cars to be serviced there now.

Moved to Melbourne at the start of the year and needed to do my registration. Found Volks Affair as the closest VW specialist to me so took my car in for a road worthiness check and quick service.
Just the check and service cost me around $500 and was quoted ~$1600 for the things that needed to be fixed to pass road worthiness. Seemed a bit much as I take care of my Polo (regular service and maintenance etc) so I took it for a second opinion. Ended up paying about $300 instead.

I had a great experience at Volks Affair. After moving house I wanted to give them a try and I wasn’t disappointed. Tom and team were clear with their communication and gave me updates on my car including tread wear etc. Also the reverse camera on my car started acting up and the team cleaned the contacts to quickly get me back up and running. We recently decided to replace our old VW and knowing that we have a reliable car mechanic to look after the new car certainly played a part in our decision to buy another VW. Their service and pricing is beyond comparison, they even organised for a windscreen replacement to be done while our vehicle was in for servicing, which saved us crucial downtime. Volks Affair were amazing. From the first call through to 2nd opinion I was after on my VW Timing Chain. They informed me, treated me with respect, discussed the options and gave evidence of the issue - a print out of the Engine Diagnostics, as well as explaining what this meant. This should not be out of the ordinary, but in the world of car repairs, dealer service departments, this customer service IS out of the ordinary.
I will definitely be returning to Volks Affair, they are a real find and it's obvious from their workshop, their approach they are passionate about Volkswagens. Thank you.

Excellent - took my Volkwagen EOS there as it had a leaking roof. Problem sorted, fair price, excellent communication. Highly recommended.

Great timely service and more! Highly experienced crew who went above and beyond with what was initially just a service and unfolded into a worm hole! I was terrified of what the cost was going to be however these guys prices are fantastic! Only advice is make sure you call them as they are somethings working too hard on the cars to give you a reminder to come get your car when it’s done!

I've been going to Volks Affair for a few years now. Initially I just went there for convenience since I live locally but I have to say they have really looked after me more than your average mechanics. 10/10 service!

Excellent workshop for Audi. Within 24 hours i had my car back from repairs and they called me before hand to give me the estimate of what it would cost. Very friendly staff and will be going back for future servicing.

They serviced my Touareg August 2019. I'm bringing the car down to Melbourne this year 2021 so they can do major servicing again. The car lives in Darwin! Excellent work, and knowledge of the car was fantastic.

Good service and value. Their commitment to getting a suspension noise issue fixed for a fraction of what it would have cost me if I went to a dealership repair shop was much appreciated. I will go back to them again for sure.
